Wizard: My Skills Can Infinitely Break Through
Chapter 451 - 338: The Secret of Tier Three Bloodlines, Shadow Vein Ore
Half a month had passed since Lucian’s visit.
Ian’s life had returned to a kind of regular cycle.
His daily Meditation was uninterrupted, his Rule Perception progressed slowly, and the three Star Orbits in his Sea of Spirit changed every day.
Since his last promotion, his understanding of the Gravity Rule had advanced from 32% to 33%. If he were focusing on a single Rule, he would have already reached the threshold of the Middle Stage.
The Purification Rule had also risen from 18% to 18.3%. The Time Rule was the slowest, increasing by only 0.01%.
He owed such rapid progress to the Rule library on his panel, as well as the permanent 300% boost from the World Origin.
After finishing his Meditation, he went to his underground Laboratory.
On the Alchemy Platform, various utensils were neatly arranged, and the Crucible was already preheating.
He took out the Tier Two Magical Beast Essence Blood he had collected the previous night and began to refine it into Blood Essence.
The Bloodline Purification Technique activated. A dark red light glowed in his palm as impurities within the blood were stripped away and devoured, leaving behind pure energy essence.
In the end, what remained were several pure, shining pieces of Tier Two Blood Essence.
In the afternoon, Ian continued to study Bloodline Potion formulas. He spread all the recipes out on his lab table, including two new scrolls he had recently acquired.
[Earth Dragon Bloodline Potion (Tier Two)] [Stone Golem Bloodline Potion (Tier Two)]
Seven formulas, corresponding to seven different bloodline paths.
Beside them lay a very old book. Its cover was dark brown leather, and it exuded an ancient aura.
Ian opened it to an inner page. The script was handwritten, the strokes messy, like the research notes of some ancient Magic Potion Alchemist.
The title was strange: [The Bloodline Tablet Press: Conjectures on Forced Fusion and Path Optimization].
Ian had already read it three times.
The book’s core idea was radical. It argued that the traditional method of refining Bloodline Potions was too "gentle."
Using a Neutralizer to slowly harmonize and Auxiliary Materials to gently guide the process was inefficient and had a low success rate.
The correct method, it proposed, should be "pressing it into a tablet."
Like making a medicinal pill, one should forcibly "press" the core factors of a Magic Beast’s bloodline into the human body.
Supplemented by a special Alchemy Array and Rule guidance, this would allow the body to complete an adaptive mutation in a short time.
The risks were enormous, but... if successful, the effects would be several times greater than the traditional method.
Ian closed the ancient book, his fingertips tapping gently on the cover.
He was contemplating a deeper question.
’Why are Tier Two Bloodline Potions so much more powerful than Tier One?’
Tier One Potions merely strengthened the body and bestowed some bloodline characteristics.
For example, the Earth Barbarian Bear Potion allowed the user to gain "Earth Vein Affinity" and a massive increase in Power.
But at Tier Two... the enhancement skyrocketed.
Take the Earth Tyrant Potion, for instance. After consuming it, the effect was no longer a simple physical enhancement.
Instead, it was a complete sublimation from the physical body to the bloodline, permanently granting the "Child of the Earth Veins" trait.
It also allowed the user to activate "Ussa Incarnation" once a day, causing the phantom of an ancient giant bear to appear behind them. Their attacks would gain a "Shock Wave" effect, capable of transmitting damage through solid objects.
’This goes beyond the scope of a normal potion’s ’enhancement.’ It’s closer to... grafting at the Rule level.’
No wonder that once Bloodline Potions reached Tier Two, their value diverged completely from other potions, elevating them to the status of a strategic resource.
Ian opened his eyes, his gaze falling on two pieces of Parchment on the other side of the Alchemy Platform.
They were formulas for a Bloodline Neutralizer. One was from Ashia, delivered just this morning.
Its name was very ordinary: [Moonlight Neutralizer] (Tier Two)
Main Ingredients: Evening Primrose Essence from a plant over five hundred years old, Starlight Dew, Silver Moonstone Powder.
Effect: Neutralizes the berserk factors in a Tier Two Bloodline Potion and guides Moonlight Power to calm mental agitation.
The other formula was his own, a Limit-Breaking version of the [Dream Potion].
He had already improved the Dream Potion multiple times, and its effects were now better than a typical Tier Two Potion.
Main Ingredients: Condensed Tear Crystals from a Wailing Banshee (Purified), Dream Vine Juice, Peaceful Dust.
Effect: Guides the user into a state of Deep Spiritual Resonance, allowing them to complete the bloodline fusion within the Dream Realm.
The two formulas had completely different philosophies.
The Moonlight Neutralizer was about "suppression"—forcibly calming the berserk energy and stabilizing the situation with external force.
The Dream Potion was about "guidance"—actively Entering the Dream, allowing the spirit and bloodline to resonate deeply and achieve harmony from within.
Which principle was better? Ian didn’t draw a conclusion just yet.
He needed experiments and data, but before that, he first needed to understand... the core of Bloodline Potions.
"Gah?" A slight weight settled on his shoulder.
Gaga had woken up at some point. It poked its little head over to look at the Parchment on the Alchemy Platform.
"Ian, are you looking at this stuff again..."
The little one’s voice held a trace of boredom.
It had been busy recently, too, practicing jumping, Concealment, and reconnaissance in the Shadow World during the day.
At night, it would return to devour the Shadow Blood Essence refined by Ian, stabilizing its Realm at the Tier Two Late Stage.
Occasionally, it would even bring back some "local specialties" from the Shadow World.
Yesterday, for example, it had returned carrying a fist-sized Shadow Crystal in its mouth.
Although its quality was not high—only Tier One—it was... brought back from the Shadow World.
This meant the Shadow World would be an important source of resources for Ian and Gaga.
"What’s wrong, bored?" Ian asked, rubbing its head.
"No..." Gaga nuzzled his finger.
"I just feel like, don’t you get tired of looking at these words all day?"
"It’s fine. Even if I’m tired, I have to keep reading."
Ian pulled his hand back, his gaze returning to the formulas.
"If I want to refine a Tier Three Bloodline Potion, I must first understand the principles. The formula is just the surface; the principle is the core."
He looked at Gaga. "Just like you—why were you able to advance to the Tier Two Late Stage?"
