"Once the conversion of the source essence is complete, the Nest will absorb it and then completely devour this world. At that point, it will launch an all-out attack on the Rift here in the Silver Moon Highlands."

Aisala withdrew her hand, and the Jade Dream Realm calmed once more.

She looked toward Ian, a glimmer of longing shining in her emerald eyes.

"The source essence of the Esok World is vast because it was once a Middle World, although it’s now in decline."

"If I can obtain that converted source essence, I can take the final step and advance to Level Six."

Ian listened in silence, his mind rapidly analyzing the situation. ’No wonder the Silver Moon Council is having such a hard and awkward time with this.’

’They’re not just facing an Insect Nest, but also a Middle World on the brink of destruction that’s still resisting.’

’The fall of two Morning Star Elders was likely more complicated than just encountering the High Tier Insect Race.’

"You want me to enter the Esok World and seize that converted source essence?" Ian asked directly.

Aisala nodded, her long hair swaying gently with the movement. "Yes, but the Wizard Alliance cannot know."

"Once the Alliance’s upper echelons, especially the Bright Sun Wizards of the six major powers, learn that a Middle World’s source essence is up for grabs, they will definitely get involved personally."

Ian understood the deeper implication. The six major powers would never just stand by and watch a World Tree on the verge of ascending to Level Six.

Level Six Bright Sun Wizards were already the apex of combat power on the Wizard Continent. True Spirit Wizards would not interfere in the internal conflicts of the Human Race.

Aisala’s voice held a hint of helplessness, but also a hint of stubbornness.

"I am the foundation of the Moon Elf race, and I am their hope for the future."

"I must secure enough resources for my growth, both for my own sake and for theirs."

Ian understood the sentiment. It was just like his deal with the Will of the Profound Yellow World—it was all for the sake of getting stronger.

"Why me?" Ian asked, his expression puzzled.

He thought he had hidden his abilities well. Even the High Priest had been unable to see through him.

A strange look appeared in Aisala’s eyes.

"I noticed you the moment you entered the Silver Moon Highlands. Your Rules are quite special—Gravity, Thermal Energy, and Purification. They’re perfectly suited to dealing with the insect swarms."

"And besides, there’s an aura about you that I find very comforting."

She tilted her head slightly and wrinkled her nose, putting on an adorable, girlish expression.

"I smell the scent of Order. A pure, reassuring Order."

Ian’s heart stirred. ’What she’s perceiving is likely a trait that comes from my Star Core Divine Body and my system panel combined.’

"But it’s very dangerous over there. I don’t want to go."

Ian shook his head, implying he wasn’t strong enough.

"Heh!" Aisala’s bright smile seemed to illuminate the entire Jade Dream Realm.

"You needn’t be so modest. I will reward you handsomely. First, the Supreme Meditation Method of the Silver Moon Elves: the Moon God’s Treasure Manual."

"It’s a complete Inheritance that provides a path directly to becoming a Level Six Bright Sun Wizard. It’s compatible with nearly all attributes and excels particularly at manipulating the Dream Realm and refining the Soul."

"I know your Meditation Method has reached its end. You need a new method, a new path."

Ian’s heart hammered in his chest. ’A Meditation Method that leads directly to Level Six... that’s exactly what I need most right now. But I’m not looking to change my path.’

’The Starry Sky Festival really can’t support the future growth of my Soul and Blazing Star Core. I have to find a High Tier Meditation Method, or create one myself.’

The latter, however, would require a vast amount of time and resources.

"Second, I can give you... a transplantable World Tree Branch."

Aisala raised her right hand and gently drew her fingers across her left arm. A small, verdant branch radiating a potent life force materialized in her palm.

The branch was about the length of a forearm, yet it seemed to contain the life force of an entire forest, as well as the vastness of the Void.

"If you use this as the Void Energy Core for your Wizard Tower, it will be sufficient to support it up to Level Five."

"And... if you can manage to nurture it and make it grow, its potential will be even greater."

Ian’s gaze fell on the branch, his eyes blazing.

The level of the Rules and Energy it contained far surpassed any material he had ever seen.

A branch from the World Tree’s main body was a true supreme treasure.

"There’s more..." Aisala casually retracted the branch, her verdant eyes fixed seriously on Ian.

"If you can successfully bring back enough source essence to help me advance to Level Six."

"I will promise, in the name of the World Tree, to intervene on your behalf three times within the next thousand years."

"As long as it doesn’t violate my core Rules or endanger the survival of the Moon Elves."

Ian took a deep breath. A promise of three interventions from a World Tree at the Level Five Limit, once she advanced to Level Six.

’To anyone else, that promise would be of immeasurable value. But to me... it’s far less valuable than that branch and the Meditation Method.’

"I need a guarantee," Ian said gravely.

"How can I be sure these promises will be kept? How do I know I won’t just be cast aside once I enter the Esok World?"

Aisala seemed to have expected him to ask this.

She raised her hands, and in the center of the Jade Dream Realm, countless points of starlight gathered, coalescing into a golden Contract Scroll.

The Scroll unfurled on its own, covered in complex, ancient contract script. Every single character pulsed with Rule Fluctuations.

Above the Scroll, a massive, translucent eye composed purely of Rules slowly materialized.

Reflected within the eye were the phantoms of countless worlds. It radiated an aura of solemn impartiality, one that could not be defied.

"This is a Level Six Contract Book," Aisala said softly.

"This eye is a manifestation of the Laws of the Wizard World—the Eye of Contract. It is not a living creature; it follows only the Rules themselves."

"A contract witnessed by it is impartial. As long as neither signatory has reached the realm of a Level Seven True Spirit, it is impossible to violate."
