Chapter 1392: Chapter 547: Chimera Stew (Part 3)
Lira was too emotional when handling the chameleon pepper, turning it into an angry fiery red, too spicy to eat;
Bruno was too tense controlling the heat, burning the outer layer of the hourglass potato while the inside remained raw...
The kitchen was momentarily filled with the faint glow of uncontrolled energy and the exclamations of students.
Hillas sneered from the doorway:
"As expected, this method of showmanship has no practical value.
Look at these kids, unable to manage even their basic emotions; how could they complete such a complex task?"
His recording device faithfully documented each failure, every sigh.
These would become strong evidence in his report proving the superiority of "traditional teaching methods."
However, Ron didn’t criticize anyone, nor show the slightest disappointment.
He simply walked to Gareen’s side, his voice gentle as a spring breeze:
"Gareen, tell me, when are you most calm and satisfied?"
The boy paused, his metallic arm ceasing its tapping:
"I... when am I most calm?"
"Yes. Close your eyes and return to that moment.
Don’t think about completing any task, simply recall that beautiful memory."
Gareen obediently closed his eyes.
He remembered long ago when he was a child, his mother would sing lullabies to him before bed.
Back then, he didn’t have this metallic arm, nor did he need to constantly restrain his inner anger.
He was just an ordinary little boy, falling asleep peacefully to his mother’s gentle song.
Something magical happened.
Gareen’s metallic arm underwent subtle changes, shifting from a guarded dark gold to a gentle silver-white.
The hard, cold texture transformed, becoming warm like jade, as if baptized by moonlight.
"Now, open your eyes. With this calm, go touch the new crystal mushroom."
When Gareen approached the resonant crystal mushroom with his arm again, a miracle occurred.
The mushroom didn’t wither but emitted an even brighter silver glow.
It sensed the tranquility deep within the boy’s heart, and gently and willingly parted, revealing a core as dazzling as a starry river.
"I... I did it?"
Gareen looked incredulously at the crystal mushroom perfectly decomposed in his hand.
It was the first time he accomplished a task with "gentleness" rather than "strength," and the achievement tasted sweeter than any victory.
Next, Ron turned to Sied:
"Compassion is precious, but true care is not enduring the other person’s pain, but sharing your own happiness."
"Share your most beautiful memory with it so it knows there’s more to cherish in the world besides negative emotions."
Sied nodded.
He began to recall his happiest moments.
It was when he first succeeded in reviving a wilted flower, the miracle of life returning made him feel like a Creator.
As he conveyed this pure joy to the emotion flower, the blossom seemed to be reborn.
It bloomed, radiating a warm golden light, and its nectar became incomparably sweet, like liquid sunshine.
Other students, also under Ron’s guidance, gradually overcame difficulties.
Lira learned to control her emotional fluctuations, presenting the chameleon pepper with a beautiful rainbow hue;
Bruno found the rhythm to harmoniously coexist with the Fire Element, perfectly roasting the essence of the hourglass potato...
Hillas was utterly stunned outside the doorway.
His recording device showed a significant increase in magic power fluctuations for each student at the moment they successfully processed their ingredients.
The students’ successes influenced each other, forming a kind of positive chain reaction.
An individual’s breakthrough encouraged others; one’s joy infected everyone around.
"What... what principle is this?"
Hillas murmured to himself, the recording device in his hand trembling slightly:
"Emotions can produce such direct magic power influence? This completely contradicts the basic theory of Enchantment!"
.........
When all ingredients were successfully processed, the true test had just begun.
Ron stood in front of the cooking station, looking at the various glowing ingredients with a satisfied smile on his face.
In the sandbox simulation, he saw a touching scene:
[Simulation phase: Chimera kindergarten graduation ceremony]
Twelve little chimera finally learned to coordinate their multiple heads.
They no longer conflicted with each other, but started engaging in some kind of wonderful "inner dialogue."
One little chimera’s dragon head was responsible for observing the road ahead, while the sheep head sensed the emotional atmosphere around.
The integration of both sets of information allowed the little guy to walk smoothly.
[Hint: Now is the final test—teach them "collective coordination"]
"Now, what you need to learn is a higher level technique—collaboration."
He pointed to the giant crystal cauldron in the center of the kitchen:
"Every ingredient has its own ’rhythm’ and ’emotion.’
To let them coexist harmoniously, you must listen to and coordinate with each other like the multiple heads of a chimera."
Lira’s third eye played a key role at this moment.
She could "see" the emotional tension between different ingredients, just like a conductor recognizing the discord in each musical section of an orchestra.
"Sied’s emotion flower emits a warm feeling of satisfaction, but Gareen’s crystal mushroom carries a hint of tension."
She frowned, concentrating on analyzing the situation in front of her:
