Knock Knock!

The loud knocking sound jolted Evan awake, who was sleeping peacefully.

Sitting up on the soft bed, he looked toward the door with an annoyed look before standing up and opening the door.

"It’s already morning, my sleepy friend..." Liam greeted Evan with a smile. "Come out and have breakfast. We still need to return to the academy afterward."

The annoyance Evan was feeling disappeared upon hearing Liam, and only then did he notice that it was already morning.

"Give me five minutes..." He said with a yawn and returned to his room, washing his face and changing his clothes.

Soon, he came out and saw Kevin and Liam waiting for him.

Seeing him come out, both of them smiled, and all three of them went to a side room in the hallway.

As they entered the room, Evan saw Erza and Alice were already there, eating their breakfast.

"Good morning," Liam greeted Alice and Erza, and Kevin and Evan followed suit.

"I was starting to think you three would sleep all day long," Erza said as the three of them sat down.

Kevin shrugged his shoulders when he heard Erza and spoke nonchalantly.

"We are free for the next two days after completing our task. So there is no point in getting up this early."

Evan poured himself a bowl of soup that seemed to be made of some vegetables and asked.

"The sub-academy is also located in Evergreen City, right?"

Liam nodded at his question.

"Yeah, it’s actually not far from here."

"By the way, I didn’t ask before, but I can enter the sub-academy even though I am not a student, right?"

"Don’t worry about it," Alice replied calmly. "Since Mom was the one who asked you to go to the academy, she should have already made arrangements with them."

"I see." Evan nodded and suddenly recalled what he had been thinking about last night.

"Can I enter a dungeon?"

Alice and the others raised an eyebrow at his question.

"Why do you suddenly want to enter a dungeon?" Kevin asked curiously.

"Mana Cores," Evan said with a cough. "I feel like there must be many good things that I can buy from your planet. But I don’t have many Mana Cores on me, so I want to enter a dungeon to harvest some."

Alice raised an eyebrow when she heard Evan.

"If you need Mana Cores, I can give you some. We didn’t give you anything in return for helping us during the task, so it’s perfect."

"It’s fine." Evan shook his head. "You guys also helped me a lot. If it weren’t for you, I would still be stuck in that forest without any knowledge about this place."

Alice and the others looked at each other and noticed the surprise in each other’s eyes.

"It seems you are not as greedy as many other humans," Erza said as she tossed a piece of fruit into her mouth.

"Since you want to enter a dungeon, it’s not a big problem. There are many Rank One Dungeons on Planet Elvador, and many of them are famous for dropping Mana Cores. How about we go to Poison Swamp? That place is one of the best when it comes to harvesting Mana Cores."

Liam showed a look of disgust when he heard the name of the dungeon Erza mentioned.

"I hate that dungeon. There are many swamps that smell like hell. I will never enter that dungeon."

Erza rolled her eyes at Liam’s complaint.

"Stop acting like a sissy. Besides, it’s not like anyone is inviting you to go with us."

Evan smiled slightly when he heard their conversation and shook his head.

"I think you have misunderstood. I don’t want to enter a Rank One Dungeon."

"Don’t want to enter a Rank One Dungeon?" Kevin gave Evan a strange look. "Don’t tell me you want to enter an unranked dungeon? If so, then you don’t need to. I actually have over a thousand unranked Mana Cores that are not much use to me. I can give them to you. No need to waste your time in an unranked dungeon."

"Yeah, I also have many unranked Mana Cores that are collecting dust. If you want them, just take them," Liam also added right after Kevin.

"Why would I enter an unranked dungeon?" Evan rolled his eyes at Kevin and Liam’s words.

Hearing Evan, a look of confusion flashed in Alice and the others’ eyes before they thought of something, and their eyes widened.

"Don’t tell me you want to enter a Rank Two Dungeon?" Erza asked in shock.

Evan nodded and said frankly.

"Yes, I want to enter a Rank Two Dungeon. And it would be best if the highest level of monster in that dungeon doesn’t exceed Level 70."

Alice and the others fell into silence upon hearing Evan and looked at him with speechless expressions.

"You are really..." Kevin didn’t know what to say after hearing Evan.

Just then, Liam suddenly remembered something.

"Hey, I think I know one dungeon that is suitable for us." As he spoke, Liam looked at them with a grin. "Have you guys heard about the Animal Kingdom Dungeon that appeared there months ago? That is the lowest-level Rank Two Dungeon, and only its boss is Rank Two. All the other monsters besides the boss are still Rank One, and there are a lot of them, so the number of cores we can get is not small."

When Alice and the others heard this, they also remembered the Animal Kingdom Dungeon.

"I think I have also heard about it. If it’s the Animal Kingdom Dungeon, then it’s indeed suitable for us," Kevin agreed with Liam.

Seeing Kevin agreeing with him, Liam’s smile widened slightly.

"How about we all go to this dungeon?"

Erza and Alice looked at each other and nodded. Although Evan didn’t know what dungeon they were talking about, he also nodded nonetheless, as that’s exactly what he wanted.

All of them ate their breakfast as Liam spoke about a few things he had heard about the Animal Kingdom Dungeon.

Just then, Kevin remembered something, and he casually asked Evan.

"How much time did it take you to clear the Skeleton Graveyard Dungeon?"

Evan finished his soup and replied as he wiped his mouth. "Three days."

"Hmmm?"

A look of confusion appeared on Liam’s and the others’ faces when they heard Evan.

"If you took three days, then why is your score on the leaderboard of the Skeleton Graveyard above Alice’s score?" Kevin asked in confusion. "She cleared the Skeleton Graveyard Dungeon in two days."

Evan raised an eyebrow when he Kevin’s words. He thought for a moment before answering in a low voice.

"It might be because I cleared the entire dungeon without using Mana."

Liam’s and the others’ pupils contracted when they heard Evan’s words, and they looked at him with faces full of shock.

Liam opened his mouth to tell him to stop messing with them. But seeing Evan’s sincere eyes, he felt that he wasn’t lying.

"You... What were you thinking when you decided to clear the dungeon without using Mana?" Erza couldn’t help but ask.

Evan’s mouth twitched when he heard her, and he wanted to say that he was forced into that situation.

But not wanting to speak about his evolution requirements, he thought for a moment before speaking seriously.

"That day... I was high on alcohol."
