Evan walked over to the referee, and the other party handed him his boots and the recommendation letter.

Evan put them away in his Storage Ring and was planning to leave, as defeating Eric was nothing major to him.

After all, Eric was already a third-year student at the academy, yet his level was only around 65.

Although he could be considered quite powerful among ordinary Evolvers, when it came to the top students of the academy, he could only be considered an average student.

An Evolver could study at the sub-academy for three years. After completing those three years, they could either graduate or, if they were talented enough, remain at the academy as instructors and teach others.

These three years of study were also their only chance to gain admission to the main academy on Planet Agroth.

If they failed to gain admission within those three years, it would become very difficult, almost impossible, for them to join the main academy afterward.

Normally, elite students like Alice and the others could gain admission to the main academy during their first year or, at most, the beginning of their second year.

However, Eric had only been admitted to the main academy during his third year at the academy, indicating that he wasn’t one of its top students.

In fact, if it hadn’t been for the recommendation letter, he might not even have been able to gain admission to the main academy in his third year.

And now that his recommendation letter had fallen into Evan’s hands, it was unclear whether he would be able to enter the main academy at all.

’I needlessly compared this guy to that Dark-Scaled Wyvern. That monster could have easily defeated him in less than ten minutes.’

Shaking his head, Evan walked toward the exit of the arena.

However, just then, he remembered what Queen Eleanor had asked him to do when she told him to go to the academy.

It wasn’t anything major. She had simply told him to give these students a reality check.

It had been a long time since a major war had erupted between the Light Alliance and the Chaos Alliance in their surrounding region, and the students of the academy had become somewhat relaxed.

Not only that, but because it was rare for young people from other planets to visit their planet, most of the academy students believed they were far stronger than the students of other sub-academies.

This was largely because their sub-academy had one of the best environments for training, even among other sub-academies.

After all, it was an academy located inside a Mythical-Grade Artifact.

Queen Eleanor had told him to give them a reality check and make them understand that having the best environment for development wasn’t enough.

Unless they made the best possible use of that environment, it wouldn’t help them much.

And after seeing so many students sitting in the stands, Evan finally understood why Queen Eleanor had said those words.

After thinking for a moment, Evan looked at the students with disdain.

"Trash!"

Although Evan’s voice wasn’t loud, he used the surrounding wind to ensure that his words reached the ears of every single student sitting in the stands.

All the students, who were still reeling from the shock of what they had just witnessed, snapped out of their thoughts upon hearing Evan’s voice. Their eyes widened in disbelief.

"Did that human bastard just call us trash?" One student asked, staring at Evan incredulously.

"Yeah, it seems defeating Eric has made him think he’s the best in the world."

"Actually, even if he isn’t the best in the world, he’s definitely far stronger than us. I don’t think any of us could defeat Eric so easily, and he’s already a Rank Two Evolver."

"Tch! Don’t talk nonsense. Although Eric is a Rank Two Evolver, he’s nothing special compared to the other geniuses in the academy," Another student said, glancing at Eric, who had wet himself and passed out in the arena.

"I wish the elite students of our academy were here to watch this match. They could easily put this human in his place."

Evan heard the students’ pointless mumbling, and his lips curled upward.

"All of you must be feeling angry because I called you trash after defeating Eric, who isn’t even an elite student at this academy, right?" He said in a flat voice.

"I know the thoughts running through your minds must be something like, ’If the elite students of our academy were here, this human bastard wouldn’t have been able to act so arrogantly, right?’"

The students who had been speaking fell silent upon hearing Evan’s words, as most of them really had been thinking exactly what he had said.

At the same time, they couldn’t understand what he was trying to accomplish by saying all this.

Seeing the confused looks on their faces, Evan couldn’t help but sneer.

"All of you really are trash! If you think I’m being arrogant and mocking you, why are you waiting for someone else to come here and teach me a lesson? Can’t you do it yourselves? Aren’t you all Evolvers, too?"

He pointed at the still-unconscious Eric.

"Most of you came here because you heard a rumor that a human had used some kind of underhanded method to rob an elf of an artifact. And now, someone was going to teach that despicable human a lesson."

"And to make things even more interesting, the rumor even included the claim that I had peed my pants after being challenged."

A mocking look appeared on Evan’s face.

"And the instant this stupid rumor reached the ears of you trash who spend all your time doing nothing but wasting your lives, you must have thought, ’Oh, finally, something interesting!’ Then you dragged your lazy bodies out of bed and came here, carrying packets of popcorn so you could waste even more of your time."

Evan glanced at the students, many of whom were still eating something, and couldn’t help but feel speechless inwardly.

The students who had been eating also felt embarrassed after being called out and quickly stuffed their packets into their Storage Rings.

Evan shook his head and looked around.

"You must be wondering why I’m saying all this."

Some of the students couldn’t help but nod, as they were indeed wondering the same thing.

"Honestly, it’s simply because I’m envious. This is actually my first time seeing such a good environment for Evolvers. You trash have access to some of the best facilities in the world."

"All of you have everything you need to improve your strength. You just need to put in some effort. But here you are..." He shook his head in disappointment.

"Instead of utilizing those facilities, you’re wasting your time here. Let me tell you something. It hasn’t even been two months since I started evolving, and I’m sure I can crush most of the students present here, even though I haven’t had access to the same training resources you’ve had."

He paused before sweeping his gaze over them again.

"All of you keep shouting that if your elite students were here, they would have taught me a lesson. Don’t you understand why they’re not here? They’re not here because they don’t want to waste their time like all of you. Instead of shouting nonsense in this arena, they understand what is more important."

At first, Evan had said all those things simply because Queen Eleanor had asked him to encourage these lazy people a little.

But as he continued speaking, he genuinely couldn’t help feeling that these people were really something else.

They had access to such excellent training locations, like Thunder Mountain and Wind Valley, as well as numerous dungeons that could help them improve themselves.

Yet, since the moment he had entered the academy, he hadn’t seen many people making use of these opportunities.

In fact, he had even heard some students say absurd things like, ’We elves are peaceful creatures and don’t like violence.’

Because they supposedly disliked violence, they didn’t want to enter dungeons or visit other places to kill creatures.

It simply wasn’t in their nature.

To those words, Evan could only say one thing—

A load of bullshit!

All those words were nothing but excuses to avoid working hard.

Although not all elves were like that, he had indeed encountered many who were.

Looking at the embarrassed expressions on many of the students’ faces, Evan took a deep breath and spoke in a flat voice.

"Actually, I don’t really care whether you guys train or not. Another reason I said all this is that I was pissed off by your stupid behavior. You keep looking at me with disgust and disdain when all of you are top-tier trash yourselves."

Evan waved his hand and turned around to leave.

"I’m really being infected by you people. I can’t believe I wasted so much of my time lecturing all of you."

As he walked toward the exit, Evan seemed to remember something and added.

"If any of you feel offended by my words, you’re welcome to take revenge anytime. But remember to bring something precious when you come to challenge me, because I don’t like wasting my time without getting any benefits."
