Chapter 97: Dungeon Reward

Swish!

A dark light flashed, and a fountain of blood erupted as the head of a three-meter-tall Rank One lion was severed from its body.

Two roars filled with anger resounded, and two more lions that looked the same as the one that had died charged toward a young man.

The man walked over to the roaring lions and easily killed them.

Some distance away from the fight scene, two men in their mid-thirties stood, looking at the young man with respect.

"With Master Rex’s help, the last Entrance Authority Token will definitely fall into our hands," One of them spoke in a low voice.

The other man nodded at his words.

"Everyone had been waiting for the trial for the last Entrance Authority Token for years. Now that it has finally appeared, everyone on Planet Zarth will try to get it."

"Even if other people try, our chances of getting it are very high," The first man spoke with a grin, looking at the young man.

Seeing that the young man wasn’t looking at them, the man lowered his voice and added, "I heard about him a few times from my colleagues. I still can’t believe Headquarters sent him to our planet just so that we can get the last Entrance Authority Token."

"What else can they do?" The second man spoke with a shake of his head.

"It is very risky to send a Rank Two Evolver to obtain an Entrance Authority Token. If a Rank Two Evolver takes part in the trial, they will have to face many Rank Two beasts. On the other hand, it is much easier to obtain the token if you send a powerful Rank One Evolver because they will only have to face Rank One Magical Beasts."

While they were talking, the young man picked up the shard of the Entrance Authority Token and a piece of the map that dropped after killing the lions.

Surprisingly, the place where he was fighting the lions was similar to the grass field that Evan had found inside the Dream Forest.

Rex looked at the shard in his hand, and his eyes gleamed.

"Just one more shard, and I can leave this damn place," He muttered, putting away the shard with the other two that he had obtained before.

Just as he put away the shard, the grass field around them began to shake.

The expressions of Rex and the two men changed upon seeing this.

"What is happening?" One of the men asked.

"I don’t know. Maybe a powerful Magical Beast is coming here," The other man replied with a horror-filled voice.

Rex looked around the shaking grass field, and his face turned ugly as he realized what was happening.

Soon, the grass field stopped shaking and started to turn illusionary, and in just ten seconds, it completely disappeared from the place as if it had never been there.

Rex quickly checked his Storage Ring, and his face darkened when he saw that the three shards he had collected had also disappeared.

"Bastard!" He cursed in a loud voice. "Don’t let me find out who you are, or you will regret it."

The two men were stunned when they heard Rex’s anger-filled voice, a look of confusion flashing in their eyes.

Rex took a deep breath and looked at them coldly.

"We are going back. Someone else has already obtained the Entrance Authority Token."

The two men were stunned and immediately broke out in a cold sweat. They lowered their heads and didn’t dare to say anything to Rex.

Rex glanced at them briefly before he turned around and walked away.

Similar scenes appeared all over Planet Zarth.

In another place, a beautiful young woman with light-blue hair also looked at her hand, where two shards of the Entrance Authority Token were fading away.

Seeing this, she sighed. "I just hope those bastards are not the ones who obtained the token."

Shaking her head, she looked at the sky, and her mouth twitched.

Evan grabbed the white ball with both of his hands, and instantly, its details appeared before his eyes.
