Yandere Villainess CEO is obsessed with me

Chapter 83: The Legend of Victoria Sterling

  • Next Chapter

The principal and all the assembled school leaders were waiting with intense anticipation.

They had all heard of President Sterling’s great name. She was a legendary figure in the business world. After taking full control as the president of the Sterling Group, she had transformed it from the fifth-ranked conglomerate into the largest, most powerful corporate empire in the entire country within just a single year. Her commercial capabilities were astronomically high.

With that meteoric rise, she had also officially become the single wealthiest woman in the nation.

Yet Victoria Sterling remained utterly mysterious. Even though she was the wealthiest woman in the country and countless journalists desperately sought to interview her, no one could find a single official interview of her anywhere on the public internet.

Many people were profoundly curious about Victoria Sterling’s true nature and appearance—including the university executives standing here today. They desperately wanted to see what such a legendary titan actually why is interested in the capital University .

Victoria’s driver brought the executive vehicle to a smooth stop on the Capital University campus grounds.

The school leaders eagerly craned their necks to peek into the car. However, even though the tinted glass appeared semi-transparent from the inside, outsiders could not see a single detail of the interior whatsoever.

"So, what do you think President Sterling actually looks like?" Is she look gorgeous as Rumars say .

"Corporate CEOs and business titans are generally quite plain or worn-out, especially someone of Victoria Sterling’s high status. She must be flooded with exhausting work every single day. If she doesn’t get enough rest, how good-looking could she possibly be?"

"President Sterling will be stepping down in a second anyway. Can’t we just wait and see for ourselves?"

Finally—

The luxury vehicle door glided open, and Victoria Sterling stepped out into the morning sunlight.

Today, Victoria had specially selected a chic white designer dress that reached just above her knees. Her soft, slightly curled hair draped lazily over her shoulders, framing her breathtaking features. She looked extraordinarily young, vibrant, and effortlessly stylish today—a perfect visual match for Julian Vance.

Gasp!

Every single school leader present let out an audible gasp of sheer, unadulterated awe at Victoria’s appearance.

They had assumed President Sterling might be reasonably pretty for a corporate executive, but they had never in their wildest dreams expected her to be this impossibly breathtaking!

Involuntarily, a curious thought flashed through their minds: I wonder what kind of godlike man a woman as magnificent as President Sterling could ever fall for? It’s probably virtually impossible to find a man on this earth who could catch Victoria Sterling’s eye.

"President Sterling!"

Principal Smith stepped forward immediately, bowing respectfully. "Welcome to Capital University. It is the absolute highest honor of our institution that you could visit us today!"

The Sterling Group was the absolute premier corporation in the nation, attracting elite global talent from everywhere. Even though Capital University was the undisputed top university in the country, very few graduates were ever fortunate enough to actually secure employment within the Sterling Group’s core ranks.

Now that President Sterling had personally acquired the controlling shares of the university, it meant that more students from Capital University would likely be recruited into the Sterling Group in the future. Thinking of this glorious prospect, Principal Smith couldn’t stop the wide smile beaming across his face.

"President Sterling," Principal Smith offered respectfully, "would you care to take a guided tour around the campus grounds?"

"Mhm," Victoria nodded calmly.

A proud smile spread across the principal’s face. Over the past few days, he had personally ordered the entire campus to be thoroughly scrubbed and deep-cleaned. Every area that needed tidying had been polished to perfection. President Sterling was bound to be immensely satisfied!

Principal Smith and a convoy of senior school leaders led Victoria on a grand tour of the university.

"President Sterling, this is our core academic environment. We are deeply committed to providing our students with an unparalleled learning atmosphere..."

The principal delivered a very enthusiastic, detailed presentation as they walked.

Victoria merely responded with faint, indifferent "mhm"s along the way.

Seeing Victoria’s utterly calm, unbothered demeanor, the principal felt his heart pounding nervously against his ribs. He was suddenly no longer sure what Victoria’s true thoughts were. Was President Sterling satisfied with the campus, or was she deeply unimpressed?

"President Sterling..." The principal was just about to ask cautiously.

Victoria interrupted him smoothly, "Principal Smith, how is the overall academic atmosphere and student performance in your classrooms?"

"It is absolutely fantastic!" the principal answered instantly. "Our students are exceptionally studious, and our departments produce ground-breaking research achievements every year."

The principal immediately launched into another long, proud, and detailed introduction.

"Mhm," Victoria said, her eyes shifting slightly. "Take me to see it."

"Yes, right away, President Sterling," the principal replied eagerly.

"I want to check out the active classrooms for the third-year finance major," Victoria added nonchalantly.

Standing half a step behind her, Secretary Evelyn subtly rolled her eyes toward the sky.

President Sterling had obviously come here specifically for Young Master Vance! If Young Master Vance hadn’t been studying at Capital University, President Sterling wouldn’t have set foot on this campus if you begged her! Why does President Sterling have to put up this grand inspection facade when she could just walk straight to Young Master Vance’s classroom?!

Meanwhile, Principal Smith looked at Victoria with a subtle flicker of suspicion. He suddenly had a strong, instinctual feeling that President Sterling hadn’t actually come here for a general campus inspection at all, but was rather looking for a specific individual!

"President Sterling," Principal Smith asked with polite curiosity, "do you perhaps have a relative’s child studying in our finance department?"

"No," Victoria denied without a second’s hesitation.

A faint, mesmerizing smile played at the subtle corners of her crimson lips. It wasn’t her relative’s child—it was her beloved husband who was attending this school.

"Ah, I see," the principal nodded, putting his suspicion to rest. It seemed he had overthought things. Perhaps President Sterling simply picked a random department to inspect out of pure curiosity, rather than because of anyone in particular.

That worked out perfectly regardless! Today happened to be the day the placement exam results for the third-year finance major were officially released. He had heard directly from the head professors that two specific students had performed spectacularly well on this test. Bringing President Sterling along to witness their top talent would definitely impress her!

The school leaders followed behind Victoria Sterling the entire time. Because Victoria walked ahead at an elegant, unhurried pace, they remained far enough behind that she couldn’t hear their quiet, private chatter.

They couldn’t help but whisper among themselves in hushed, awe-struck tones:

"President Sterling truly lives up to her reputation as the head of the country’s largest conglomerate! Her aura is insanely powerful, and she exudes a suffocating, icy authority. People in the business sector call her the Cold-Faced Devil, and it is 100% accurate!"

"I genuinely doubt there are many men in this world who could ever handle a woman as formidable as President Sterling."

"Yes, I’ve heard those exact industry rumors too. They say President Sterling has zero interest in men altogether. I can practically guarantee that a dominant woman like President Sterling will never have a man in her life."

In realistic stories, terrifying corporate figures like Victoria Sterling usually lived alone in their private empires, growing old in solitary power—unless, by some miraculous stroke of fate, she encountered her one true destined partner. But how could it ever be easy to meet a destined equal?

Meanwhile, across the campus walkway, Siana Vance also arrived at the administrative building.

"Miss Vance, I want to formally express our deep gratitude on behalf of the university for donating such generous scholarships to our students," the Academic Director said with a bright, appreciative smile.

Siana had established a total of 80,000 doller in personal merit scholarships for the finance department this time. While that exact sum wasn’t massive for a university of this size, Siana vance was, after all, the eldest daughter and General Manager of the prestigious Vance Group, so the administration naturally gave her immense respect and face.

"Mhm," Siana Vance nodded politely.

"Director Lock," Siana requested, her voice carrying a soft, hesitant note, "my younger brother happens to be a third-year finance student in the capital University. May I go over to his classroom and meet him?"

"Of course! Absolutely!" the Academic Director agreed instantly. "Miss Vance, the placement exam results just came out today. You can come along right now and personally present the scholarship awards to the top three students in his major!"

"Wonderful," a soft, relieved smile bloomed across Siana Vance’s face.

In the past, Julian had constantly tried his absolute hardest to please her and earn her warmth, but she had always coldly ignored his care for her. She had even callously thrown away the hand-crafted gifts he had thoughtfully given her.

She believed that if she took the active initiative to visit Julian in his classroom today and personally hand him warmth, Julian would be overjoyed beyond belief!
