Young Georgie - I Have Nice Hair
Chapter 178: No One Replacing Anyone
3rd POV
Georgie wasn’t lying.
When he said he’d be busy, he meant it and now his schedule was proof. After returning from Tennessee, he barely stayed in Houston before hitting the road again.
Galveston first, then Austin, then San Antonio—each stop a new stage, a new crowd, a new chance to push his music further. They played at local events, honky-tonks, and community gatherings, grabbing every bit of exposure they could find.
January blurring into February, the weeks swallowed by constant travel. But with every mile came growth. The band toughened up, their mentality sharpened, their guts tested. Piece by piece, they were learning what it meant to chase stardom.
Hee Haw wouldn’t air anytime soon, so the team doubled down, making Georgie work harder than ever to build momentum. Local radio, small-town newspapers, even niche magazines—whether about music or lifestyle—it didn’t matter. Big or small, they seized every opportunity, so long as it was honest and wouldn’t drag his name down.
They were finally back in Houston after a long month on the road. Tired, yes, but stronger than ever. Every small step felt like a real step toward success.
“What are you doing?” Kayla slipped up behind Georgie, wrapping her arms around his waist. She eyed the pile of bottles and tubes scattered across the table.
She tried to seduce him again and again, calling him ‘brother,’ clinging to him, purring in his ear. But Georgie never gave in. He would only smile, pat her head, and slip away before things went too far.
“I’m working on a science project for school,” Georgie said, prying her hands off gently.
“Oh?” Kayla loosened her hug, only to slide her hand under his shirt, her lips brushing his back. “With all this junk? What are you even making?” she purred.
Georgie circled around the table to escape her grasp. “You’ll see. Just give me a few minutes.”
Kayla pouted, glaring at him with genuine frustration. “Why do you keep running away? Didn’t you enjoy it?!”
Georgie stopped, sighed, and faced her. “I did… but it was a mistake, Kayla. I’m not some sex-crazed maniac.”
She snorted at that. “Yeah, right. Tell that to Fenley! You sneak off with that bitch all the time!.”
The jab hit his stomach and Georgie’s expression twitched with shame. “…I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he replied flatly.
Kayla’s face twisted with frustration. She stomped like a child, her voice breaking. “You can’t do this to me! I gave you my virginity and you’re just throwing me away?!”
“Virginity? What virginity?!” Georgie shot back bitterly. “I didn’t see any—”
But his words froze when the door opened. James and Edo stood there, eyes wide, staring back and forth between them in disbelief.
“Wh—what?” James muttered, blinking rapidly. Edo mirrored his shock, completely speechless.
“She raped me…” Georgie deadpanned, pointing at Kayla with the most innocent face he could muster.
Of course, nobody believed him.
“You bastard!” Kayla shrieked, leaping onto his back like a wildcat. She sank her teeth into his shoulder, clawing at him.
“James! Edo! For God’s sake, help me out here!” Georgie pleaded, staggering under her weight. He kept one hand behind him, steadying her thighs so she wouldn’t slip and hurt herself, even as she bit down harder.
James hurried over, pulling Kayla off Georgie. She growled low in her throat, glaring at him before wrenching free.
“So… you two are, uhm…together?” James asked, glancing between them.
“Yes!”
“No!”
Their answers overlapped perfectly. James sighed, already too familiar with Kayla’s impulsive nature. “So it was just sex then? No commitment?” His eyes shifted toward Georgie.
Edo crossed his arms, watching with the same intensity. They’d all known each other long enough to know the situation like James does to know how persistent Kayla could be. It wasn’t hard to imagine her pushing until Georgie finally broke.
But still… Why?
If Georgie wanted to sleep with Kayla, he could’ve done it long ago. So why now? Was it because of Veronica? Trying to forget her by being with someone else?
Edo narrowed his eyes, his thoughts turning sharp. ‘What a bastard.’
He didn’t say it aloud, but the silence around him said enough.
If Georgie could hear that thought, he probably would’ve smacked Edo right then because he didn’t know that Kayla knew his secret with Fenley!.
“…It was just one time,” Georgie said quietly, exhaling hard. His face carried real regret. “I see her like a sister, James. It just… happened. Purely unintentional. I blame myself for letting it happen.”
James stared at him, frowning. “Then why’d you let her in the first place? You never let her get that close before.” He said before looking at Kayla now, eyeing her slowly, “…Even when she was naked in your bed before.”
Kayla’s eyes snapped toward him, cold and sharp. “What’s that supposed to mean, James? You think I’m not attractive enough?” Her voice dropped, icy enough to freeze the room.
Neither James nor Edo dared look her way. Both turned their gaze back to Georgie, pretending they hadn’t heard.
“…You’re pent up after the breGeorgiep?” Edo muttered under his breath, half to himself, half to the floor. “…That’s low, man.”
“Of course not,” Georgie said with a sigh. He didn’t really want to talk about it anymore, and he hoped Kayla would finally stop. “Anyway, it was just one time….and I regret it.”
Yeah. Kayla had heard that enough times already, and each word stung worse than the last. What started as begging slowly turned into something bitter, almost insulting.
She shot him one last glare before storming out of the room, the door slamming behind her without a single look back.
James and Edo exchanged a long, tired glance before shaking their heads. With a brief nod toward Georgie, they followed after her, leaving him alone in the heavy silence that filled the room.
Left alone, Georgie leaned against the table, staring at the pile of junk in front of him.
“…Is this what I meant by enjoying my second life?” he muttered to himself before shaking his head and getting back to work on his science project.
It wasn’t that complicated—actually, it was simple enough.
What was he going to make?
A gun.
Not that kind of gun, but a plasma gun!
Well, not like the ones in sci-fi movies either… more like, a lighter-powered plasma gun.
…..Anyway!—it was basically a gas lighter, a plastic bottle, and a thin hose connecting the two.
Georgie assembled it with the confidence of a self-proclaimed genius, wrapping the hose neatly around the bottle so people could see the sparks and the brief trail of flame when gas was released.
He glued two bottles together, drilled a small hole for the spark, and smiled at his creation.
After nearly an hour of tinkering and testing on a stack of paper cups, Georgie stepped out of the workshop.
Inside the music room, Kayla was sitting with a bass guitar on her lap, headphones on, completely lost in her rhythm.
She didn’t notice him enter—until his reflection flickered in the glass wall.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, stopping the music and glancing at him from the corner of her eye.
Georgie grinned and held up his creation. “I just finished my science project. Wanna see it?”
Kayla snorted but humored him anyway, watching as he pointed the strange contraption toward an empty corner.
*Click…..
Nothing.
The lighter clicked uselessly.
Kayla smirked, folding her arms. “….Your gun’s not so scary anymore, Georgie.” She couldn’t hold it and said that with double meaning!
“Hold on…” He lifted a finger, trying again.
Then—crack!
A burst of light and sound erupted, followed by a sharp hiss as blue sparks and a flash of flame shot out from the bottle.
“….Oh, shit!” Georgie flinched back. “Thank God that wasn’t a gas canister!”
The noise echoed through the soundproof room. That’s a bad idea without air that contained his gas, but thankfully it’s just a little gas that came out of his lighter but Kayla’s eyes widened in awe.
“What the heck?! That’s so cool!” she squealed, lunging forward to grab the device.
Georgie stepped back, smirking proudly.
“Behold!” he announced dramatically. “The Plasma Gun—handmade by me only!”
Kayla still saw the strange shape of the weapon but it’s like in a sci-fi movie, with a coiled hose like energy being channeled by the hose towards the Bottle that was pointed at him.

Georgie lifted his hands, watching Kayla aim the makeshift gun at him. “…Are you gonna shoot me?” he asked, his voice cracking slightly.
“It depends….” Kayla replied with a smirk. “…Are you still gonna be an asshole or not?” She stepped closer, the nozzle of the plastic gun now inches from his face.
Georgie sighed, trying to lower his hands, but Kayla shook her head. “Ah-ah. Hands where I can see them…” she teased, her tone playful but her eyes full of something darker.
“…It was a bad idea giving you a gun…” Georgie muttered, snorting softly before meeting her eyes again. His expression softened. “You can’t shoot me, Kayla. You care about me too much for that.”
Kayla’s smirk faltered. She lowered the gun with a shaky breath. “Shut up! You can’t toss me away because you’re already tasting me! Am I that bad in bed so you don’t want me anymore?!” she shouted, throwing the device aside.
It clattered across the floor, and a little disfigured and the hose loosened up before they scattered completely with the glued can’t hold the impact.
Georgie winced, it had taken him nearly an hour to make that thing! — but he didn’t move.
“How can you say that? I will never Toss you away.” he said quietly. “You are still my friend and like my own sister.” He stepped forward and pulled her into a hug.
“But I don’t want that!” Kayla said, hitting Georgie but not letting go of Georgie’s embrace. “I want you to fuck me! I want you to do that again and again!”
Georgie’s mouth twitched at that. It’s like she’s throwing herself to become his fuck buddy! Well, yeah, she’s doing that right now, throwing herself to become his Sex Friends.
Georgie brushed a hand gently through her hair. “…You know I don’t want to hurt you, right? I don’t have it in me to make things worse for you.” he said softly.
Kayla looked up, her face streaked with tears and smudged makeup. “You don’t have to protect me like that…” she whispered. “Just… treat me the way you treat Fenley.”
Georgie looked at her speechless, “I can’t do that Kayla…Fenley is my first time and I played with her too much, while I roughed her up and did whatever I wanted with her…Why are you shaking?…” Georgie said and looked at Kayla who was breathing roughly while grinding her body to Georgie’s body.
“No… Come one Kayla! You can’t do this!” Georgie said and looked at Kayla’s face which was already red.
“Georgie…I can’t…” Kayla said and looked at Georgie embarrassedly, “My Toys…Can’t be enough anymore…”
Georgie looked at her and hugged her back, “…Are you sure?” Georgie said softly and Kayla didn’t answer him and just hugged him tightly.
Something flipped again in Georgie, his low voice sounded in Kayla’s ear, “…Tell me…” Georgie said, “…You want to be my sex buddy?” Kayla still didn’t answer her and just hugged Georgie tightly and breathed hard.
Georgie couldn’t help but chuckle seeing this, it’s not planned to make Kayla like this, but the first time he did that with her, he already knew.
Deep down he already knows that he can’t stop it.
But he tried.
He tries to stop it and make it true for himself for this whole month.
But he knows he can’t. He doesn’t deserve a good girl anymore, he thinks that.
The sound of the door opening cut through the quiet room.
Georgie lifted his head, his hands still resting lightly on Kayla’s shoulders. Fenley stood in the doorway, her expression unreadable. For a moment, none of them spoke.
“Fenley…” Georgie’s voice cracked slightly.
She didn’t look surprised. If anything, she seemed tired — like she had already seen this coming. Her gaze drifted from Georgie to Kayla, then back again before she left.
Kayla, who saw this, smirked at Fenley who was leaving them and looked back at Georgie, “…So, am I replacing her now?”
