Young Mafia POV: Woke Up As A Mafia Heir In A Game
Chapter 28: Betrayer
In certain family mention, that was built like a small castle in the city of Berlin.
The country Germany was gone like many other countries from the rest of world but name Berlin still remain in honour to remember the great country.
But now, Berlin comes under the control of Riina family...Of course under shadows.
On the surface this city was still fully controlled by World Goverment just like rest of cities and continent in rest of world.
"Fuck! I can’t believe they messed up this bad! How dare they called themselves a villain when they couldn’t even killed one boy!"
The man shouted in a fit of rage as he destroyed his furniture, sending expensive vases and glass ornaments crashing onto the marble floor.
"Those incompetent bastards! I invested millions in their operation, and what did they accomplish? Nothing! Absolutely fucking nothing!"
His face twisted with fury.
"They couldn’t even kill one boy!"
He grabbed a crystal glass from the table and hurled it against the wall.
CRASH!
The glass shattered into countless fragments.
For several seconds, the room remained silent except for the man’s heavy breathing.
’It was perfect opportunity to kill That basterd son or take him as hostage but now he has to praper himself to cut his tail that ties him to that organisation.’
Tringg —!
At that moment, his phone vibrated.
--

The message was sent from non other then Aldric Riina.
’Fuck!’
Zomboto Hiroshi cursed himself.
He has betrayed a family.
’I will kill Lorenzo no matter what!’
Immediately afterwards he ran through contacts on his phone and make a call.
Tring! Tring! Tring!
Click —!

"Just kill fucking Lorenzo Riina! And do your fucking job right!"
Crash—!

A few days later...
Three days had passed since the terrorist attack at Appetite of Heavens, and nearly a week had gone by since the entrance examination for Golden Dawn Academy.
After my father brought me home from the SCBD, he immediately called for a healer to treat my injuries. Apparently, he wasn’t satisfied with that alone, because he also made me drink an Expert-rank healing potion worth a whopping 300,000 Credits.
Three hundred thousand!
I still couldn’t get over how ridiculously expensive it was.
Then again, healing potions weren’t exactly cheap in this world.
Almost everything had its own ranking system, and potions were no exception. They were divided into four ranks: Low-rank, Intermediate-rank, Expert-rank, and Perfect-rank.
As their names suggested, the higher the rank, the more effective the potion.
Perfect-rank healing potions were especially rare. They were incredibly difficult to manufacture, and their prices were high enough to make even wealthy Awakeners think twice before purchasing one.
However, their effects were worth the cost. Unlike ordinary healing potions or even the most skilled healers, a Perfect-rank potion could regenerate a lost limb.
Of course, that didn’t mean everyone could get their hands on one.
Unless you were extraordinarily wealthy or had connections with the right people, obtaining such a potion was practically a pipe dream.
Fortunately, I didn’t have to worry about that for the time being.
My father was more than capable of providing me with whatever I needed.
Still, spending 300,000 Credits on a single potion is ridiculous.
I couldn’t help but sigh whenever I thought about it.
But considering what had happened at Appetite of Heavens, I supposed I shouldn’t complain. My injuries had been serious enough, and the last thing I wanted was to suffer from some unexpected complications because I had tried to save a little money.
Besides, I had more important things to worry about.
For the past three days, I had done practically nothing except rest, recover, and spend time with my little sister, Sara.
She was only six years old, and like most children her age, she had an endless supply of energy.
Whenever I thought I could finally enjoy some peace and quiet, she would appear out of nowhere, climb onto my bed, and start telling me about whatever had caught her attention that day.
Sometimes, she would bring me her toys and insist that I play with her. Other times, she would simply sit beside me and chatter about the most random things imaginable.
Honestly, it was exhausting.
But I didn’t mind.
If anything, spending time with her helped take my mind off the events of the past few days.
For a little while, at least, I could forget about the terrorists, the SCBD, and the mess I had made of things with Sofia.
...Speaking of Sofia.
I had tried contacting her several times over the past three days.
Calls, messages, even a few simple texts asking how she was doing.
Nothing.
She hadn’t answered a single call or replied to any of my messages.
At first, I told myself she was probably busy recovering from the attack. After everything she had experienced, it was only natural that she needed time to rest and gather herself.
But as the hours passed into days without a response, I couldn’t help checking my phone more often than I wanted to admit.
Every time the screen lit up, a small part of me hoped it would be her.
And every time it turned out to be someone else, I felt a little disappointed.
...Damn it.
I wanted to see her.
No, that was putting it mildly.
I wanted to know whether she was eating properly, whether she was sleeping well, and whether she was still having nightmares about what had happened at Appetite of Heavens.
Part of me wanted to go straight to her house and see her in person. At least then, I wouldn’t have to keep staring at my phone like an idiot, waiting for a reply that might never come.
In fact, I had seriously considered doing exactly that.
I could visit her, ask how she was doing, and explain myself.
It shouldn’t have been that difficult, right?
...Except it was.
She already hated me enough and I know that once I saw her again I wouldn’t be to keep my obsession in check.
That’s why I didn’t do anything.
