As I walked towards Class A, where the first-year students were assigned, I couldn’t help but take out my phone and open the app.

\[Lorenzo Directory Update\]

Several new entries had been added.

I tapped the first one.

\[Joseph Goldberg\]

Description:

\[Entrance Examination Rank: 1st\]

\[Combat Style: Unknown\]

\[Personality: Arrogant, Competitive, Attention-Seeking\]

\[Threat Level: Low\]

I stared at the screen for a few seconds before clicking my tongue.

"Threat level: low?"

Was this app making fun of me?

I had pointed a gun at the guy’s head in front of hundreds of students, and he had practically frozen in place under my bloodlust. Yet, the app still considered him a low threat.

Well, that wasn’t entirely wrong.

He was weak.

But the more interesting question was why he had been ranked first in the entrance examination.

I hadn’t paid much attention to the details of the test, but securing the first position at Golden Dawn Academy wasn’t something an ordinary Awakener could accomplish.

There had to be something he was good at.

Perhaps his combat ability was different from what I had seen, or maybe he possessed a unique trait that hadn’t been revealed yet.

Either way, I wasn’t particularly interested.

If he decided to bother me again, I would deal with him then.

I swiped to the next entry.

\[Elise Valor\]

Description:

\[Position: Student Council President\]

\[Combat Style: Unknown\]

\[Personality: Disciplined, Responsible, Strict\]

\[Threat Level: High\]

"Oh?"

My eyebrows rose slightly.

That was quite impressive for someone who was still a student.

Of course, her position as student council president suggested that she wasn’t an ordinary student to begin with. Her authority over the academy’s students was probably backed by considerable strength.

I recalled the scene in her office earlier.

The way she had looked at me after I touched her hair was particularly amusing.

Now, everything is symmetrical.

I couldn’t help but smile.

She had been so furious that I almost wanted to do it again.

Almost.

I had no particular desire to get dragged into another lecture on appropriate behavior.

Besides, I had already accomplished what I wanted.

Her platinum-blonde hair was now perfectly symmetrical.

That was enough for me.

There was one more entrie by the name of Adrian Vance.

Apparently he was vice student council president and he was hostile towards me.

Not like I care enough who was hostile towards me or not.

I put my phone back in my pocket, and within a few minutes, I arrived at my classroom.

The moment I opened the door, I felt several gazes fall upon me.

There were still a few empty seats scattered throughout the classroom, but I paid no attention to the curious looks directed at me. Instead, I walked straight to the back and took the vacant seat beside the window.

I preferred sitting somewhere quiet.

Unfortunately, it seemed that wasn’t going to happen today.

"Isn’t he that guy?"

"The one who almost shot a cadet during the entrance ceremony?"

"...I also heard that he shot an instructor during the entrance examination to pass the test!"

"What? Is that actually true?"

"Looks like he’s in our class."

The whispers continued as I took out my phone and began browsing through the academy’s directory again.

Well, at least they were getting some of the details right.

As Elise had mentioned, my identity as a member of the Riina family hadn’t spread throughout the academy. For now, I was just another troublesome cadet with a questionable attitude and a tendency to pull out a gun when someone annoyed me.

Honestly, that was probably for the best.

The less attention I attracted from the World Government, the easier my academy life would be.

Of course, I had no intention of behaving myself just to make their jobs easier.

I had barely finished checking the latest entries in the directory when someone entered the classroom.

A blond man with piercing eyes strolled inside, his hands buried in his pockets.

His appearance was practically a textbook example of a delinquent. His blond hair was slightly disheveled, and several piercings decorated on both of his ears. Combined with the fierce look in his eyes, he looked more like someone who belonged to a street gang than an elite academy.

He swept his gaze across the classroom before noticing the empty seat beside me.

Without saying a word, he dropped into the chair, leaned back, and promptly began taking a nap.

I stared at him.

Seriously?

I had expected all sorts of strange people to attend Golden Dawn Academy, but I hadn’t anticipated finding a blond delinquent with piercings in my classroom on the very first day.

Then again, who was I to judge?

I had three piercings on my right ear.

The difference was that I wasn’t a delinquent.

I didn’t enjoy bullying people. It was a pathetic pastime, the sort of thing people resorted to when they lacked the ability to do anything more interesting.

If someone truly offended me, I’d rather kill them and be done with it.

Much more efficient.

I glanced at the blond man sleeping beside me.

Well, as long as he doesn’t bother me, I don’t care what he does.

I returned my attention to my phone.

Unfortunately, my peaceful morning was about to come to an abrupt end.

"Hey, everyone! Nice to meet you. I remember some of your faces."

A woman’s voice rang through the classroom.

I immediately raised my head.

A woman wearing a black military uniform and a matching cap stood at the entrance. Her black hair was neatly arranged beneath the cap.

An evil smile spread across her face as she surveyed the classroom.

I recognized her instantly.

Yuki Hayasaka. A Saint.

The supervisor responsible for overseeing the entrance examination.

And, more importantly, the woman I had attempted to assassinate during that very examination.

"My name is Yuki Hayasaka," she announced, her smile widening. "I’ll be your homeroom professor for the next year."

Silence descended upon the classroom.

Several students immediately straightened in their seats, while others exchanged uncertain glances.

I, on the other hand, slowly leaned back in my chair.

’Interesting.’

Yuki Hayasaka was a genius of spatial magic, capable of manipulating space with frightening precision.

A moving wormhole.

A spatial magician who could make even experienced Awakeners miserable.

She had earned many names throughout her career, but there was one that suited her personality particularly well.

Mad Wolf, or Phyco Bitch.

And judging by the way she was smiling at us, I suspected that the name wasn’t merely a reference to her combat abilities.
