Your Beloved Sweetheart Is Online
Chapter 2184 - 2187: What an Ungrateful Woman
Qingqing didn’t cry tears of joy as she expected. She felt too unwell, her head splitting with pain, so she quietly closed her eyes and fell back into a deep sleep.
When she woke up, she wasn’t at home. She didn’t know where she was. The room was very clean and sunny, and she could faintly hear the sound of the waves.
Zun Zun was sitting at a table by the window with a computer. She had good eyesight and could clearly see that the computer screen was a game interface, a very popular war-themed online game at the time, and Qingqing also had an account for this game.
After being feverish for more than ten hours, her body temperature gradually dropped.
Zun Zun paused his game when he heard her move, walked over with a thermometer, and said to her coolly, "Open your mouth."
When Qingqing opened her mouth, he directly placed the thermometer in her mouth and said, "Hold it in."
Then he left the room and came back with a bowl of plain white porridge.
"What’s the temperature?"
"37.2." Qingqing read the thermometer herself.
Qingqing looked around, blinking at him, "Where is this place?"
"A private villa by the seaside. In your condition, sending you home would make Fourth Uncle worry too much," Zun Zun explained as he blew on the porridge and brought it to her lips. "Eat it. The doctor said you should drink some porridge when you wake up. Other foods aren’t suitable for you."
She stared at something black and yellow in the porridge, "What’s this?"
Zun Zun coughed lightly to cover up and didn’t explain; he just said, "Just make do. It’s the first time your Brother Zun has made porridge, not much skill, you should be grateful it’s cooked."
In fact, the first pot was completely inedible. This was his second attempt, and he tried two bites himself, barely swallowable. But wasn’t this wild, grass-like woman supposed to be tough? So let her make do; he, Gu ZhiZun, had never taken care of a woman. If it weren’t for her calling him Brother Zun, he wouldn’t be doing this!
Qingqing propped herself up, pulling the blanket a bit, "I want some water."
Zun Zun went to get her some water. He hadn’t even thought of boiling water, so where could he get hot water for her to drink now? He had no choice but to hand her a can of soda, "Drink this for now, I’ll go boil some water."
Qingqing looked confused, "Does what you said still count?"
"What?"
"You said I could go back to Dark K." She bit her lip, nervously looking at him.
Her actions annoyed Zun Zun. Seeing how much weight she’d lost from the fever, this fragile-looking woman still wanted to go to Dark K. Zun Zun didn’t answer her.
Qingqing got anxious, "Before I fell asleep, you promised me yourself. When my fever was gone, you’d review the contract and let me return to Dark K. I heard it with my own ears."
"You were delirious with fever, dreaming," Zun Zun said, his face sour.
"I wasn’t dreaming, I remember." Qingqing frowned tightly, "A true gentleman’s word is unbreakable."
"If you want to join Dark K, you should put on some weight. Dark K has a new rule; they don’t accept women under ninety pounds. Do you think you’re ninety pounds?"
Qingqing quickly grabbed the overcooked porridge from Zun Zun’s hands and gulped it down, drinking until the bowl was empty before handing it back, "I want another bowl."
Zun Zun: "..." Not sure if he should be angry or not!
Fuming, he took the bowl to get her another serving, and she again downed it at lightning speed. Zun Zun crossed his arms, standing beside her, looking down, "Want more?"
Qingqing nodded vigorously.
In irritation, Zun Zun directly brought the rice cooker into the room, placed it by the bed, and said, "Eat it, eat till you burst!" This woman really is clueless, wanting so badly to get into Dark K!!!
