Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1942: Huli Chenying - Qian Yan

Zhang Fei [5] felt nothing upon seeing many members of the Nine Nether Demon Race die, but he couldn’t let them be wiped out. He contacted Jiu Moze and Jiu Mozu, ordering them to gather the remaining members of their race.

"Are you going to move them to the Myriad Abyss Domain?"

Zhang Fei [5] nodded at Huo Ling. "There is still space available in the area Mo Qingwen provided, so I will move them there; they can stay there alongside the Asura Demon Race."

"What about the Torture Demon Race and the Celestial Demon Race? I’m sure Qian Yan will target them someday."

Zhang Fei [5] didn’t care about the Torture Demon Race, and he didn’t like Ku Shenzu either. However, the Celestial Demon Race was different because Mo Zainan was a member of that race, and her three sons lived in that domain to control them.

After thinking about it, Zhang Fei [5] contacted Mo Shentian and Mo Zhejun. He ordered them to gather all the members of the Celestial Demon Race, and he would move them to the Myriad Abyss Domain once they were ready.

Since there were not many members of the Nine Nether Demon Race left, Jiu Mozu and Jiu Moze completed their task easily.

After the remaining members of the race gathered, Zhang Fei [5] sent them to the Myriad Abyss Domain, and he also contacted Shang Zhanluo to arrange their accommodations.

Zhang Fei [5] did not stay in the Paradise Realm any longer; he brought Huo Ling back to the Ancient Realm after the matters were settled. However, Qian Yan’s previous attack left an inexplicable feeling in his heart, and he felt a tinge of fear at the thought of fighting the beast demon god.

Qian Yan was in a domain, and his expression was filled with anger, especially after the death of two of his five subordinates.

Qian Yan was confident his subordinates were sufficient to defeat the Jiu Mozu and Jiu Moze. However, the outcome exceeded his expectations, and two of his subordinates died in that domain.

However, Qian Yan was confused by the appearance of those light swords, and he couldn’t find their owners. In fact, he could have found Zhang Fei [5], but he was focused on his subordinates and neglected other factors.

Apart from that, Qian Yan was also confused about the origin of Huli Chenying, who devoured two of his subordinates. He had met several fox races, but he had never seen her fox race before.

After all, Huli Chenying was not a native of this universe; instead, she came from another universe, so Qian Yan couldn’t recognize her fox race.

Qian Yan contacted his three remaining subordinates and ordered them to return to their domain first. He was worried Huli Chenying would attack his domain and kill his demon race members. His demon race had already suffered a lot because of Zhang Fei [5] and Huo Ling’s previous actions, so he didn’t want them to suffer any more.

"Haha."

Qian Yan froze upon hearing the laughter. He looked up and was shocked to find Huli Chenying standing there. His location was quite far from the Nine Nether Domain, but she arrived in front of him so quickly, which meant her speed could not be underestimated.

Qian Yan trembled as soon as he tried to check Huli Chenying’s cultivation. He couldn’t check her level, and worse, he couldn’t recognize the Qi in her body either. ’Who exactly is this fox woman? What does he want from me? I’ve met both primordial beasts before, but they didn’t give me this much pressure. Even though she didn’t do anything, her mere presence was enough to weigh me down.’

"Are you curious about my identity?" Qian Yan instinctively took a step back and raised his guard as soon as Huli Chenying moved in front of him. "Haha! You’re a demon god, but you’re afraid of me."

’Fuck! Who wouldn’t be afraid of you? Even the two primordial beasts would definitely fear you!’ Qian Yan calmed himself down and asked, "Who are you? What do you want from me?"

"Me?" Huli Chenying smiled playfully. "My name is Huli Chenying, and I need your help looking for something."

"My help?" Qian Yan was confused by that.

"Yes." Huli Chenying pointed to Qian Yan’s forehead. "Although we’ve only just met, I know the middle eye on your forehead has a unique ability, and you can see through everything. Therefore, I need you to help me check a place, and I’ll go there immediately after you find it."

Qian Yan took a deep breath. "Before I help you, I want to ask you one thing."

"Do you want to ask why I devoured your two subordinates?"

"Yes." Qian Yan nodded. "We didn’t have any problems with each other, but you suddenly appeared there and disrupted my plans, and you also devoured my two subordinates."

"Haha." Huli Chenying giggled. "When I passed through that domain, I felt the aura of your subordinates. We didn’t have any problems, but they triggered my hunger, so I devoured them."

"What a fucking nonsense excuse!" Qian Yan gritted his teeth. "Do you have a connection to the owner of those white swords?"

"No," Huli Chenying denied it with a shake of her head. "I have no connection to anyone in this universe, and I live alone with my master."

"What do you mean by that? Who is—"

"Stop!" Huli Chenying waved her hand. "You previously said you would only ask one thing, and I’ve already answered two, so I won’t answer the third. Besides, I don’t have much time, so you have to help me find that thing for me. If you waste my time, I will beat you black and blue. Even though you are a demon beast god, I can kill you as easily as turning the palm of my hand, so you better not test my patience."

Qian Yan trembled and broke out in a cold sweat; he dared not doubt Huli Chenying. Although she appeared calm on the surface, he knew she was a monster; not even the two primordial beasts could stand against her. "Please tell me."

Qian Yan’s expression turned strange after Huli Chenying told him about that thing, but he asked nothing and tried to search for it using his middle eye ability.

Huli Chenying didn’t rush Qian Yan because she knew that the thing she was looking for wasn’t easy to find. In fact, she wasn’t confident that he could help her find it, but she had no choice but to try. ’Even my master couldn’t find it.’

After some time, Qian Yan stopped searching for the thing and spoke to her. "Are you sure that thing exists? If it does exist in this Paradise Realm, I should be able to find it, but I can’t find any trace of it, let alone its whereabouts."

"I see." Huli Chenying was not disappointed. "Since my master looked for it, it should exist in this Paradise Realm. At first, I thought your middle eye ability could find it, but it turns out your ability is not as good as I expected."

Qian Yan’s eyes twitched; he felt that Huli Chenying looked down on him too much, but he didn’t dare to refute her. "What are the actual benefits of that thing?"

"Even if I told you, you wouldn’t know the benefits." Huli Chenying looked at him with a playful smile. "Honestly, I’d like to test your abilities, but my master will punish me, so I won’t."

Qian Yan shivered seeing her smile. "Can you answer one of my questions?"

"No." Huli Chenying instantly disappeared from Qian Yan’s sight.

"Damn it!" Qian Yan tried to track Huli Chenying’s whereabouts using his middle eye ability, but strangely, he couldn’t find her anywhere. "How could she disappear so quickly? Even if the qi within her body was different, she couldn’t possibly disappear that quickly from me."

Since he couldn’t track down Huli Chenying, Qian Yan immediately continued on his journey to the Heavenly Fiend Demon Domain. However, their previous conversation left him with many questions, and he was truly curious about the thing.

Inside the training space, Puyang Shenmi sat with Puyang Yeyu. "How are you feeling, Grandmother?"

"I’ve never felt this good." Puyang Shenmi raised her right hand and clenched her fist. "Even though I’ve only been training here for a few months, my improvements have been quite significant, especially my speed."

"Haha," Puyang Yeyu laughed. "Honestly, your progress is much faster than when I first trained here, and you’ve even perfectly adapted to level five gravity. I think you will be able to adapt to level nine gravity soon, and your speed will increase even more by then."

"Level five gravity is thirty-two times heavier, right?"

"Yes." Puyang Yeyu nodded. "With your current speed, no other cultivator can catch up to you, except for us. Unfortunately, speed is not enough to defeat those creatures, and we have to increase our strength even more to fight them."

As an experienced cultivator, Puyang Shenmi naturally knew that, but she hadn’t found a solution to increase her strength. At first, she was confident in increasing her strength after Feng Yao told her that she possessed the Immortal Sacred Physique, but unfortunately, her special physique was still dormant, and no one could help her awaken it.

Even after Puyang Shenmi swallowed Zhang Fei’s yang qi, her special physique still hadn’t awakened, making her quite disappointed.

"Grandmother." Puyang Shenmi turned to Puyang Yeyu. "Honestly, I have a plan to improve myself, and Zhang Fei can help me with it. However, I’m still undecided about it, and I’d like to hear your opinion first."

"Try explaining everything to me, Yeyu."

Puyang Yeyu nodded and explained everything to her grandmother, shocking Puyang Shenmi. "What do you think about that?"
