Zombie Bodyguard
Chapter 2191 - 2188: Defeated
Chapter 2191: Chapter 2188: Defeated
The male disciples of the Situ family looked at their junior sister, Situ Ruoling. Her face should have been angelic, but he shivered because her smile was sinister and cruel.
Bang bang bang...
The sound of continuous clashes ensued as Situ Chang launched relentless attacks. Suddenly, his eyes flashed. After one attack, his right hand flicked behind his waist, producing a dagger.
Holding the dagger, he swiftly slashed at Ling Shuiyao’s fair cheek. The edge of the dagger was faintly shrouded in an icy mist.
Such a blade, when cutting open a wound, coupled with frostbite, could cause the wound to quickly become necrotic. Even with good medicine, it couldn’t be restored, meaning it would disfigure.
Just as the blade was about to touch the fair skin, a hand flashed past, catching the sharp edge right in time.
This hand wore a pair of white silk gloves. The gloves looked so thin that one could vaguely see the delicate skin texture beneath. Yet, it was these thin white silk gloves that stopped the blade’s sharpness.
This dagger was considered a treasure of the highest order in the sect, able to cut through iron like mud, yet it was stopped by the white silk gloves.
"Impossible!" Two voices rang out simultaneously, one from Situ Ruoling, the other from Situ Chang.
Situ Ruoling had even accounted for the sect’s treasured dagger to make sure everything was foolproof, but to no avail.
"Nothing is impossible." Ling Shuiyao smiled, then slowly moved the dagger away with her fingers. No matter how Situ Chang exerted his strength or invoked his Xuanbing True Energy, he couldn’t resist her single-handed power, and the Xuanbing True Energy couldn’t corrode it.
"Your skill?" Situ Chang was uncertain, suspecting the difference in power if the dagger couldn’t cut through the white gloves. But being outmatched in strength pointed to a gap in martial prowess.
Situ Chang was convinced his martial skill level was higher than Ling Shuiyao’s, but why couldn’t he shake her?
"You will soon experience my power." Ling Shuiyao smirked mischievously, her smile resembling Lin Tian’s, then punched quickly.
The punch was so fast that Situ Chang didn’t evade in time. With a bang, it hit his nose, causing his face to blossom with two streams of nosebleeds, looking wretched and seeing stars.
Before he could gather his True Qi, Ling Shuiyao punched twice more, and Situ Chang instantly had panda eyes. The dagger slipped from his grip, falling into Ling Shuiyao’s hand.
Ling Shuiyao twirled the dagger, the dazzling knife flower making people dizzy. After the flickering blade, Situ Chang’s handsome hair turned into a non-mainstream bird’s nest.
"Ah, that’s too much!" The dumbfounded Situ Chang finally snapped out of it. Filled with anger and grief, he let out a loud roar, his entire aura suddenly swelling, as if ready to unleash power.
But Ling Shuiyao swiftly circled behind him, point-jabbing with the dagger, its tip hitting the spot at the back of his neck. His just-risen aura quickly deflated like a punctured balloon.
"Hmm, Ling Shuiyao’s acupoint-piercing technique, why does it look so much like the Nine Needle Technique?" Miss’s eyes lit up with curiosity, then she turned to Lin Tian.
Lin Tian spread his hands, laughing, "I’ve been training with her these days. Maybe she learned it sneakily."
"Learned sneakily? Her jab had the perfect force—too light, and it couldn’t contain Situ Chang; too strong, and he’d be crippled. If it weren’t for your personal guidance, she couldn’t have mastered such a powerful acupoint-piercing technique in a short time." With a glance, Miss unmercifully exposed his "lie."
"Sort of. I did learn the Ling Family’s Sword Control Technique, so I should return something in kind." Lin Tian said nonchalantly.
Seeing Lin Tian admit it, Miss wasn’t relieved but even more puzzled: "The acupoint-piercing technique is explainable as your teaching, but what about her power? Being able to match Situ Chang—could that also be your doing?"
"That has nothing to do with me. It can only be said that she hid her strength, or the Ling Family has some method of suppressing her power, making it imperceptible to outsiders, fooling even you and me." Lin Tian spoke, equally curious.
The situation on the stage had taken an unexpected twist, catching everyone off guard. The audience was bewildered, and the next scene left them even more stupefied.
Ling Shuiyao kicked Situ Chang on the butt, and he fell flat on his face. Just as he struggled to get up, Ling Shuiyao rushed forward, landing a punch on his face.
"Bang bang bang..." Ling Shuiyao unleashed punches furiously, all landing on Situ Chang’s face, which swelled up like a pig’s.
"I concede..." Completely dazed from the beating, Situ Chang, unable to muster any True Qi to resist, thought that the longer the beating continued, the more embarrassing it would be, so he chose the less humiliating way of admitting defeat.
But before the word "concede" left his mouth, Ling Shuiyao slapped him on the cheek, making him swallow his words whole.
"Want to concede? Not so easy. Conspiring with Situ Ruoling to scheme against me, too bad this girl isn’t so easily schemed against. Enjoy the consequences of your failure!" Ling Shuiyao whispered, filled with righteous anger.
No woman could remain calm and forgiving after almost being disfigured through scheming, least of all Little La Jiao, who was never synonymous with forgiving.
More chaotic punches followed, and Situ Chang’s "pig head" swelled even more. The audience was left dumbfounded.
"No wonder he’s a disciple of a noble family, being beaten into a pig head and still not conceding."
"Refusing to concede even in death, truly a model for us to follow."
The clueless crowd continued their odd discussions. Their voices reached Situ Chang’s ears, filling his heart with boundless tragedy and indignation.
"Who the hell doesn’t want to concede? I can’t even open my damn mouth..." Situ Chang thought, aggrieved and furious.
The Situ family’s faces turned grim beyond measure. Losing was no big deal, but losing to such an extent was utterly humiliating. Especially Situ Ruoling, who was grinding her teeth to dust.
"Enough, Situ Chang concedes!" A muffled voice exploded on the platform, making everyone’s ears buzz.
Lin Tian turned to see Situ Yuanzhong had spoken. The old guy’s expression was menacingly cold, seeming ready to kill at any moment.
Ling Shuiyao’s lips twitched, and with a kick, she sent Situ Chang rolling like a soccer ball in front of the Situ family. At the same time, she flipped her hand, sending the dagger darting between Situ Chang’s legs.
The already dizzy Situ Chang, seeing the dagger, fainted on the spot. The disciples of the Situ family hurriedly carried him away.
"So young, yet so vicious and ruthless with your actions!" Situ Yuanzhong coldly glared at Ling Shuiyao.
Ling Shuiyao fearlessly returned the gaze: "Vicious and ruthless? How so? Situ Chang’s injuries are all external. If I were truly vicious, he’d already be crippled. Speaking of viciousness, it’s Situ Chang, attempting to disfigure me with a dagger. Hmph, just because I don’t retaliate doesn’t mean I’m Hello Kitty!"
