10,000x Rebate System: Every Return Makes Me Stronger
Chapter 147: Fellow Sisters
Seraphina let out a soft chuckle. "I knew you would keep me safe."
Amon glanced at her and raised an eyebrow. "You were panicking a few moments ago."
"I was doing nothing like that."
Seraphina immediately turned her face away as if the conversation had never happened.
Amon shrugged, deciding not to argue with her.
He looked around the chamber once again, making sure there were no remaining creatures hiding in the darkness.
As Amon lowered his gaze toward the floor, something caught his attention.
A small metallic object was lying between two cracks in the stone.
"Hm?"
He walked toward it and crouched down.
It looked like a bracelet.
The object was made from dark silver metal, with several thin lines engraved around its surface. At its center was a small circular crystal.
Amon picked it up and turned it around in his fingers.
His Merchant’s Divine Insight activated.
A transparent system window immediately appeared before his eyes.

----
Amon blinked. "Not bad."
The item wasn’t particularly powerful, but it was useful.
Being able to completely silence his movements for thirty seconds could be surprisingly valuable.
Especially during exploration or when trying to approach an enemy without being noticed.
He turned the bracelet around once more before looking toward Seraphina.
She had already noticed the item in his hand and walked closer. "What is it?"
Amon smiled. "Come here."
Seraphina stopped in front of him. "What?"
"Give me your hand."
She looked at him suspiciously for a moment before extending her hand toward him.
Amon gently took her wrist and tied the bracelet around it.
The moment the bracelet touched her skin, the small crystal at its center gave off a faint glow before settling down.
Seraphina immediately understood what the bracelet could do.
She looked down at it for several seconds before raising her eyes toward Amon with a complicated expression.
"Amon...."
"You needed it more than I did." He said smiling.
Seraphina looked at him silently. "You did all the work."
Amon shrugged. "I did it all for you."
She opened her mouth to respond, but Amon raised his hand before she could say anything.
"It would be better if you had it."
Seraphina stared at him for another moment before eventually letting out a quiet sigh. "Why do you always gift me things?"
Amon chuckled and shook his head. "Because I like giving you things."
Seraphina looked down at the bracelet again.
The two of them began walking again, leaving the ruined chamber behind.
Amon had only taken a few steps when a familiar notification appeared before his eyes.

-----
Amon stared at the notification for a moment before a smile slowly appeared on his face.
’An invisibility cloak?’
He looked at the bracelet on Seraphina’s wrist.
The item he got was clearly related to it, but the ability worked differently.
Seraphina noticed his expression and glanced toward him. "What happened?"
"Nothing." Amon dismissed the notification. "Let’s keep going."
They continued through the winding passage, with Seraphina occasionally glancing at the bracelet around her wrist.
After a while, she suddenly spoke. "Am I the only one you gift things to?"
Amon blinked and turned his head toward her. "Why are you asking that?"
"I don’t know." She looked forward as they walked. "I just have a feeling that I’m not the only one around you."
Amon chuckled and shook his head. "For now, you’re the only one I like to gift things to."
Seraphina gave him a curious look. "For now?"
Amon realized his choice of words had given him away.
She slowed her steps slightly. "So there will be more in the future?"
Amon shrugged. "I told you I’m a bastard."
Seraphina let out a soft chuckle and raised her hand over her mouth. "At least you’re honest about it."
Amon continued walking without answering.
For several moments, the only sound between them was their footsteps.
Seraphina spoke again. "What about your mother and sister?"
Amon’s steps slowed as he became silent.
His eyes lowered toward the stone floor as they continued walking through the dim corridor.
For a while, he didn’t answer.
Seraphina noticed the sudden change in his expression but didn’t immediately push him.
Eventually, Amon spoke. "Why are you asking that?"
Seraphina looked at him with a small smile.
"I’ve met both of them." She paused for a moment before continuing. "You can call it a woman’s intuition, but I could feel something deeply rooted in them."
Amon frowned slightly. "What that might be?"
Seraphina raised her hand before she pointed directly at him. "Possession."
Amon stopped. "Possession of whom?"
Her finger moved slightly closer. "You."
Amon stared at her and he didn’t say anything.
After a few seconds, he simply started walking again. His footsteps sounded unusually heavy against the stone floor.
’...Mother... and Sidney.’
The thought passed through his mind.
He had never really considered what their relationship with him would become in the future.
His mother had already devoted a part of her life to him, while Sidney had grown up alongside him and had her own complicated personality.
He didn’t know whether Seraphina’s intuition was right, and he certainly wasn’t going to make a decision based solely on a feeling.
But there was one thing he couldn’t deny. Both of them cared about him deeply.
Amon exhaled quietly.
Seraphina walked beside him for several seconds before asking again. "So, what about your mother and sister?"
Amon remained silent for a moment. "I don’t know yet."
Seraphina hummed softly.
"That’s fine." She smiled gently. "You can always tell me when you’ve decided."
Amon looked at her.
Seraphina continued walking with a relaxed expression. "I would like to deepen my relationship with your family."
She paused before adding with a faint smile, "As well as my fellow sisters too with whom I might share a bed."
Amon chuckled. "Sidney won’t like you."
Seraphina immediately frowned. "She won’t because she’s a bitch."
Amon shook his head. "You are a weird girl, Seraphina."
Seraphina laughed softly. "Things we do for love."
Their conversation slowly faded as they continued deeper into the dungeon.
The passage ahead gradually widened.
The stone walls became rougher, and the blue crystals embedded within them grew farther apart until only a few remained.
Amon noticed the change immediately.
The corridor opened into a large chamber.
The ceiling was much higher than before, disappearing into the darkness above them.
There were several large stone pillars scattered throughout the room.
Seraphina stepped beside Amon. "What happened?"
Amon Spiritual Sight activated instinctively and the chamber appeared beneath the familiar white hue.
Something was hiding behind one of the pillars.
Amon’s eyes narrowed. "Seraphina."
She immediately became alert. "What?"
"Stay close."
Before she could ask anything else, a low growl echoed through the chamber.
Then another answered from somewhere behind them.
Seraphina slowly turned around.
From between the stone pillars, several pairs of glowing eyes appeared.
One by one, the creatures stepped into the faint blue light.
They looked like wolves, but their bodies were strangely compact and their ears were long and upright, giving them an almost harmless appearance at first glance.
Their fur was soft and pale, and several of them had small tails that bounced slightly as they moved.
For a brief moment, Seraphina stared at them. "They’re..."
"Bunny wolves," Amon said.
More of them emerged from the darkness and soon, the two of them were surrounded.
The creatures lowered their bodies as their cute appearance disappeared.
Their eyes sharpened, their mouths opened to reveal rows of teeth, and their paws dug into the stone floor as they prepared to attack.
Amon slowly raised his battleaxe and Seraphina tightened her grip around her staff.
Amon glanced at her. "They will attack--."
The nearest Bunny Wolf suddenly growled and all of them charged.
