Chapter 189: Multi-Element Synchronization

The bell suddenly rang through the classroom, signaling the end of the lesson.

The Queen looked toward the students with a gentle smile as the sound slowly faded into the background.

"I will certainly be happy to see all of you grow into capable individuals who can contribute to the future of our kingdom."

She paused for a moment before giving them another smile. "Class dismissed."

The students immediately began gathering their belongings.

Despite the sudden end of the lesson, nobody made much noise while they were still in the Queen’s presence.

Chairs were pushed back quietly, books were collected without much conversation, and the students slowly made their way toward the exits.

Amon and Seraphina were among them.

They walked together toward the door while Amon casually glanced around the classroom, still thinking about everything the Queen had said.

However, just as he was about to pass her, a calm voice stopped him. "Mr. Arcadia."

Amon stopped walking and turned around.

The Queen was still standing near the desk, watching him with the same gentle smile.

"Could I have a minute of your time?"

Amon glanced at Seraphina.

She understood immediately. "I’ll go to my class."

Amon nodded. They had different classes after this, so there was no reason for her to wait around for him.

"See you later."

Seraphina gave him a small smile before leaving with the other students.

Amon watched her disappear through the doorway before turning his attention back toward the Queen.

He walked toward her without lowering his head or showing any sign of submission.

"How can I help you, Your Majesty?"

The Queen studied him for a moment before speaking. "Have you already accepted the sponsorship contract offered by the Royal Family?"

Amon remained silent for several seconds.

He wasn’t particularly surprised by the question, but the timing made him more cautious.

"I haven’t made a decision yet."

The Queen smiled. "That’s unfortunate. Someone with your talent would be far too valuable to simply let it go to waste."

She slowly stepped closer. Amon’s body immediately became more alert.

He didn’t move backward, but every part of his body prepared itself for the possibility of an attack.

His eyes remained fixed on her as she stopped only a short distance away.

The Queen’s smile became strangely bewitching.

"If you want, I can personally sponsor you." Her voice dropped into a quiet whisper. "And there would be no strings attached."

Amon stared at her. "Would that make me your slave?"

The Queen didn’t deny it and her smile remained perfectly composed.

"I can offer you much more than money."

Amon blinked once and he activated his Truthseeker’s Eye.

The moment he looked at her through his special vision, the Queen’s entire body lit up with a deep red color.

Amon’s expression didn’t change. ’...I thought so.’

He didn’t know exactly what she wanted from him, but whatever she had said wasn’t as innocent as she was pretending.

Amon let out a quiet sigh. "I’ll think about your proposal."

The Queen remained completely composed and she simply stared at him.

She chuckled softly.

"That’s interesting." She tilted her head slightly. "I believe this is the first time I’ve ever been rejected."

Amon raised an eyebrow.

The Queen’s smile became slightly wider. "How should I react?"

Amon stared at her before calmly answering. "However you want."

The Queen laughed softly. "Then I suppose you may go."

Amon didn’t need to be told twice. He immediately turned around and began walking away.

He could still feel her gaze on his back as he left the classroom.

The moment he entered the hallway, his expression became serious. ’That woman is really fucking dangerous.’

Amon had met people who hid their intentions behind smiles before, but there was something different about the Queen.

He couldn’t explain it properly.

She simply felt inherently dangerous to him.

’She’s like a snake waiting for the right moment to bite whoever gets close enough.’ Amon sighed as he continued down the hallway.

He had no idea what the Queen was planning, but one thing was certain.

He needed to be careful around her.

---

Amon eventually reached the classroom for his next subject.

Multi-Element Synchronization.

The moment he entered, he immediately noticed something different.

There were far fewer students compared to the previous classroom.

Amon looked around curiously. ’They should all have at least two affinities to take this class.’

It made sense.

Someone with only one elemental affinity would have little reason to study advanced synchronization between different elements.

While Amon was looking around, someone suddenly waved at him. "Over here!"

Amon blinked.

He immediately recognized the blonde-haired boy sitting near the middle of the classroom.

’Nolan Reed.’

Amon let out a quiet sigh before walking toward him.

He sat down beside Nolan and looked at him. "Do you have more than two affinities?"

Nolan nodded.

"Three." He gave Amon a slightly helpless smile. "Not as many as you, though."

Amon sighed and rubbed his face.

He was beginning to get tired of people constantly glazing him.

Nolan leaned slightly closer. "So, what did the Queen want from you?"

Amon glanced at him. "She wanted to fuck me."

Nolan’s face immediately turned white as a sheet.

He looked around the classroom in panic before lowering his voice. "You’re going to get us killed at this rate!"

Amon shrugged. "You’re way too afraid."

Nolan let out a quiet groan and leaned back into his chair. "You say that like getting on the Queen’s bad side isn’t terrifying."

He suddenly stopped moving.

His eyes narrowed as he looked at Amon. "Why do you look so different now?"

Amon blinked. "What does that mean?"

Nolan continued staring at him, seemingly trying to figure something out.

"You just look..."

Before he could finish his sentence, the classroom door opened.

Both of them turned toward the entrance.

A middle-aged man walked into the classroom with a bright smile on his face.

He carried several books under one arm before placing them neatly on the desk.

His clothes were simple compared to the nobles Amon had seen throughout the university, but there was a calm confidence in his movements.

He looked across the classroom. "Good morning, everyone."

The students immediately greeted him.

The teacher smiled. "My name is Professor Adrian Sonastra, and I will be teaching you Multi-Element Synchronization."

He picked up one of the books from the desk before continuing. "Many of you probably consider having multiple affinities a blessing."

He paused. "In reality, multiple affinities can become a curse if you don’t know how to use them properly."

A few students exchanged uncertain glances.

Professor Adrian smiled. "Allow me to demonstrate."

He raised one hand.

Mana immediately began gathering around him. A small flame appeared above his palm.

Then a stream of wind began spiraling around it.

The fire suddenly expanded and the wind accelerated.

Within seconds, a massive tornado of flames formed in the center of the classroom.

The students immediately widened their eyes.

The fiery tornado spun rapidly, but the flames remained perfectly contained within the rotating wind.

The heat spread throughout the classroom, causing several students to instinctively lean backward.

Amon watched carefully.

The teacher wasn’t simply using two elements separately.

He was combining them.

Fire provided the destructive energy, while wind controlled its movement and increased its intensity.

Professor Adrian casually waved his hand.

The fiery tornado disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, leaving only a faint warmth behind.

He looked at the students with a smile.

"But if you learn Multi-Element Synchronization..." He tapped his fingers lightly against the desk.

"...then what others consider a curse can become a blessing."
