Suddenly, her identity was exposed by Lu Feng, causing Wang Guihua’s sobbing to cease. She never expected that Lu Feng would know who she was.

In an instant, she thought of being betrayed, but they all knew each other well. How could their identities have been exposed?

Wang Guihua never thought that Lu Feng had been shadowing their group for a long time, only to wait patiently to catch bigger fish. That’s why they hadn’t been arrested yet. Later, Lu Feng was reassigned to another task, but it didn’t mean he forgot about them.

Seeing her face, Lu Feng’s mind immediately recognized her.

"Take them away!" Lu Feng’s cold gaze swept over her as he nudged a motionless man on the ground. If it weren’t for his faint breathing, one might have thought he had met his end.

The soldiers picked up the group and took them away. Wang Guihua gritted her teeth, trying to break free, but as a woman, she had no chance against the soldiers’ grip. Ultimately, no matter how she struggled, she was taken out.

"Yay!" The children clapped happily, seeing the two bullies who tormented them daily defeated by Lu Feng.

Lu Lin glanced at Lu Feng, the corners of his mouth lifted, his eyes sparkling.

When Lu Feng found Fu Xiaoxiao, Lu Chen, and Fu Xiaoxiao saw Lu Lin return, they rushed over with tears in their eyes to embrace him.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you? Do you feel unwell anywhere?" Fu Xiaoxiao asked worriedly, looking at Lu Lin. He was still dressed in a girl’s clothing, and seeing this attire, worrisome images lingered in Fu Xiaoxiao’s mind, fearing Lu Lin had been bullied by those evildoers.

"I’m fine, Dad came just in time." Lu Lin nodded and smiled at Fu Xiaoxiao.

Fu Xiaoxiao looked up, meeting Lu Feng’s eyes. Lu Feng nodded. "He’s fine."

"Let’s go home," Fu Xiaoxiao said, hugging both children tight, feeling nothing was more important than their safe return.

Lu Feng shook his head. "You all head back first. There’s one more I haven’t caught yet, and I need to get him."

Lu Feng wasn’t going to let them escape.

"Dad, I’m coming with you." Lu Chen, who remembered the man’s voice, said.

"You stay with your mom. I’ll catch him," Lu Feng wasn’t willing to let Lu Chen take any more risks.

"Dad, I can help you! I’m not afraid!" Lu Chen patted his chest, holding memories of that man, knowing there was still one among them.

"Mom, I’m really not afraid anymore. Can I please go with Dad?" Seeing he couldn’t convince Lu Feng, Lu Chen turned and hugged Fu Xiaoxiao’s leg, truly wanting to catch the bad guys.

"Why not let him go with you!" Fu Xiaoxiao, holding Lu Lin, saw how eager Lu Chen was and decided to let Lu Feng take him along.

Perhaps this little guy would bring unexpected results.

"Alright," Lu Feng, seeing Fu Xiaoxiao agreed, scooped Lu Chen up, letting him sit on his lap.

"You wait here; I’ll be back soon," Lu Feng told Fu Xiaoxiao, then left with Lu Chen.

After Lu Feng left, Fu Xiaoxiao carefully checked Lu Lin, reassuringly realizing he’d only been changed into different clothes with no injuries, letting out a silent sigh of relief.

"Mom," Lu Lin hugged Fu Xiaoxiao, noticing the tension in her eyes earlier; he needed her security.

"It’s alright now, it’s alright," Fu Xiaoxiao, hands shaking from fear, reflected on how her kids had been abducted by traffickers earlier in that short moment.

Before, Fu Xiaoxiao only saw stories like this on TV and couldn’t comprehend the feeling. Now, having experienced it firsthand, she finally understood why the nation cracked down so hard on human traffickers.

She had just wanted to utterly destroy those traffickers, to vanish them from this world.

Her children disappeared in just a moment, and had she and Lu Feng not reacted quickly, seeking police assistance, reaching the station, blocking the traffickers’ path, they might have been taken out of the county, transferred elsewhere.

"Hmm," Lu Lin nodded, tightening his embrace around her, finally releasing his true emotions.

Lu Feng returned with Lu Chen to the previous location.

"Dad, follow me," Lu Chen covered his eyes, following the route he had been led, soldiers trailing behind.

Lu Feng didn’t expect, Lu Chen truly remembered.

Guided by Lu Chen, they arrived at an isolated alley filled with noisy voices, with Lu Chen uncovering his eyes.

He pointed at the house to Lu Feng and the others behind him. Lu Feng stepped up and picked Lu Chen up while soldiers quietly surrounded the house.

Inside the house, fierce arguing ensued.

"What? You let that kid go? Is your brain filled with dung? Haven’t you just exposed our position?" An enraged male voice came through.

"What could I do? They’re searching the whole city for us. Those two kids belong to soldiers; all exits are sealed, and the police will soon find us; keeping the kid is a dead end!" Another man refuted stubbornly.

"Aren’t you afraid the kid would lead the police here? Such foolishness; just twist his neck, and he’s done. Buried in the ground, what can they find? You’re just scared of dying, definitely a useless coward," mocked a man, feeling disgusted by the other cowardly approach.

"I just want money; unlike you, I can’t even go after such young kids; I’m done, do what you will!" The man growled, intending to open the door and leave.

"Want to leave? Who knows if you’re going out to report us to the police? We’re all in the same boat now; you think you can just leave?" A wail followed, as apparently one man was assaulted with a heavy blow by another, collapsing.

"You... help..." The man’s voice weakened significantly, seeking help, but the other man wouldn’t spare him, wanting to kill him again when Lu Feng ordered soldiers to storm in, capturing the man about to act.

"He... he’s a trafficker, catch him..." The man lying in blood identified the man, struggling with last breaths. "He has several kids’ lives in his hands, don’t let go... of him!"

After speaking, he collapsed in a pool of blood, the back of his head hit by a wrench, blood continuously spilling out.

Lu Feng didn’t bring Lu Chen inside, and soldiers escorted the man out, others carrying the injured man to the hospital.

"Will he die?" Lu Chen whispered, holding Lu Feng’s neck.

"Did he hit you?" Lu Feng queried.

Lu Chen shook his head. "He just paced back and forth; I kept talking, annoying him. He didn’t hit me, just shouted at me a couple of times."

"The other man is harsher; he grabbed us and separated us, saying if I wasn’t obedient, he’d break brother’s leg," Lu Chen recalled.

The one just caught was the most vicious, taking action without hesitation, his eyes terrifying.
