Jiang Jingheng poured a glass of wine for Zhuang Yi, and also poured one for himself.

"I want some too." Mu Yan raised her glass to him, asking him to pour her some wine.

"Drink mine." Jiang Jingheng said, without pouring her any wine.

"Oh." Mu Yan put down the empty glass, picked up Jiang Jingheng’s glass and took a sip, instantly frowning, "Isn’t this just that flavor? Not good."

Mu Yan put the glass back in its place and picked up her chopsticks to start eating.

Jiang Jingheng took her soup bowl and served her a bowl of soup.

"Drink some soup, ease it."

"Mm." Mu Yan put down the chopsticks and drank the soup.

Across, Zhuang Yi watched the two flaunt their affection as if nobody was around, only feeling his teeth ache.

He raised his glass and said, "Brother-in-law, let’s have one?"

Jiang Jingheng noticed he enjoyed calling him brother-in-law and didn’t bother correcting him.

He could vaguely feel Mu Yan’s attitude towards Zhuang Yi had changed from before. Although there was some displeasure in his heart, he wouldn’t show it.

Before long, Mu Yan came out of the kitchen, seeing the two staring each other down, she asked, "Are you two full?"

"Not yet, waiting for your dish." Zhuang Yi said with a smile.

Mu Yan and Yu Ma placed the dishes in front of them.

After eating, Jiang Jingheng went back upstairs.

Mu Yan watched his back, frowning slightly, intuitively feeling he was lying.

Soon, Jiang Jingheng finished his shower, and Mu Yan went to the bathroom.

When she came out after showering, Jiang Jingheng was leaning on the bedhead, looking at his phone.

Mu Yan thought he minded those online comments calling him an illegitimate child, so she leaned over only to find he was looking at her morning’s post.

She leaned onto his body, asked, "How’s my writing?"

"Yeah, very good." Jiang Jingheng put away the phone, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her forehead.

"Now, is your mood better?" Mu Yan asked.

Jiang Jingheng looked at her pretty almond-shaped eyes, her clear gaze was full of him.

Suddenly, all those emotions brought by Zhuang Yi’s arrival dissipated.

He held her tightly, softly saying, "I’ll try."

Try to accept that there are others she cares about besides him.
