With those words, he left without turning back.

Yi Peilan saw him really leaving, stomped her foot angrily, and started chasing after him.

The man remained silent.

She smelled the increasingly intense scent of alcohol on him, her heartbeat growing more intense.

The man’s tall body was slumped against her, and Yi Peilan couldn’t push him off; she got no response for quite a while.

“You were so cocky just now, look at you now, you’re in my hands,” Yi Peilan grinned triumphantly, using all her strength to move him to a big stone and let him sit against it.

His head drooped, his expression dazed and lost, unlike his usual calm demeanor; when drunk, he exuded a more languid charm like vibrant peaches and plums.
