Somehow, Leo had managed to cut off one of the boss beast’s forelegs, making it impossible for it to move around.

And it had actually tried to move, as evidenced by the fact that it was around 500 meters closer to the cliff. However, it was during that movement, or while using a skill known as [Molten Charge], that Leo had heavily damaged the leg while enduring heavy injuries himself.

But unlike Leo, the boss beast had no way to regenerate or heal its body. So, when Leo struck the same spot again and again after healing himself, the leg finally broke apart.

As for the other parts, what shocked the masses was that Vorthuun’s body had completely cooled.

The bright, hot orange glow across its body was long gone, and so were the heated surroundings.

Hydra and Lily’s water cannon attacks, along with the 30 minutes of [Frostfall Domain], had cooled everything. The only place that was still heated—almost melting—was its face, where Solvyr continuously released two infernal breaths from its two heads from a distance where Lily’s water-based attacks didn’t reach it.

As for the minions, they stood no chance after the deployment of [Frostfall Domain].

And even then, almost 20% had died just to the acidic water moat around the territory.

On the land, Marco and Dhalia were ravaging the burned and cooled forest with their massive beasts.

Uraan was already engaged in ground combat after exhausting every explosive, while Ronan and Cecil—who had been thriving in the previous burning forest—were still killing beasts left and right with their weapons.

Thalvyr and Rhaegar showcased their spear skills, bringing down flying beasts like the Emberwing drakes.

All in all, almost all the minions had been defeated.

As for Vorthuun, right now, it was being bombarded with so many [Black Lightning] attacks that any normal person’s head might explode from the sheer noise.

Plus, Hydra’s concentrated Netherblight Poison breath was already corroding one side of its body down to the bones.

Lily, Sylrael, and Leo had also used an uncountable number of thick vines around its body to pin it to the ground; they even regenerated rapidly as the beast broke them in its useless effort to escape.

As for Leo himself, he switched between all sorts of attacks, from elemental to physical. But the most dominant attack was [Solarflare Torrent], which he released directly onto the beast’s face alongside Solvyr.

The attack had already popped both of the beast’s eyes, blinding it.

Suddenly, the thick pillar of flame began to thin as the skill’s pressure and destructive potential increased. If the attack had previously only slowly melted the beast’s skull, it now bored straight through it.

The beast would never have thought it would be killed by the same element it wielded and took pride in.

The moment it died, its body slumped, and it began to fall to the side. Its death triggered a localized earthquake, and Leo had only just started to rejoice at the win when, all of a sudden, the beast’s body began to disappear into white particles.

NOO!! Leo internally screamed, shooting forward in an attempt to touch the disappearing body, as if hoping that he could store it in his spiritual space.

But nothing happened; the beast’s body disappeared.

He held his head with one hand as if he had lost something invaluable.

At that moment, something suddenly appeared in front of Leo, floating in the air and looking like a crystal with a beast figure similar to Vorthuun crafted inside it.

Just as Leo grabbed it, the private screen of Aurelius Stronghold flared up.

Leo could only watch the scene with blank eyes, as if he had been denied something he had a right to.

Thankfully, the announcement screen’s text shifted, and it acted like a Legendary-tier vitality pill for his dying enthusiasm.

Every Individual’s contribution has been noted, and rewards will be distributed at the end of the competition based on that.

"I should get something good, right?" Leo muttered.

That was also why he had decided to reveal part of his ability to the Emperor. He didn’t want to get lacklustre rewards just like at the end of the Aurelius Beast Academy Competitions.

Leo also understood why the corpses were taken away, because there was no way in hell someone else would have been as broken as he was, with spiritual storage capable of holding so many things and the talent to utilise almost every spoil present.

For most, all these corpses would be waste and a headache to deal with when they were right beside their stronghold and rotting away.

Finally, when the 1 hour passed, the numbers on the leaderboard shifted.

The point table made it clear that only Aurelius and Sunborn had defeated both the boss and the minions to the desired percentage.

Whereas Velerath and Elarion could only defend their bases successfully without managing to kill the boss.

"Sir Leo! I think we underestimated the Sunborn Royal Academy; they still have sufficient manpower!" Fruder immediately informed Leo, though Leo already seemed to know.

The announcement board once again shifted.
