Chapter 885 - 856: Elemental World

Evening.

After a busy day, Chen Feng was about to take a short break when he suddenly sensed a strong energy fluctuation in the void, which was familiar and transmitted from the broken plane!

Previously, Chen Feng obtained a strand of divinity from killing Mara and distributed it to the broken plane. Over time, the plane had clearly integrated the divinity thoroughly!

Chen Feng pointed his finger, and a rift emitting a blue halo opened before him. Even before delving in, Chen Feng already noticed some differences.

The source of the broken plane is unknown, but when Chen Feng discovered it, all life force inside had vanished completely, without even traces of life existing.

It goes without saying that the plane had encountered a catastrophic disaster, wiping out an entire tiny world's life forms, leaving only barren land and a terrifying environment!

Previously, the broken plane absorbed oxygen and energy, akin to a patient relying on an oxygen machine for survival. Without a healthy cycle, removing the oxygen would mean instant demise.

But now, things were different. Inside, Chen Feng personally felt a surge of life force, which wasn't just external oxygen and energy but seemed like a sudden transformation had occurred within.

Caught by curiosity, Chen Feng flashed into the world, only to be utterly stunned by what lay before him!

The broken plane used to be ravaged by storms, even with air and life force consumption opening a vast survival space, it was still a hazy space, like a cloudy grave, making long stays uncomfortable.

Moreover, as time increased, it would breed gloomy and angry emotions. Previously, Chen Feng conducted experiments by releasing hundreds of bugs and monsters inside, and under those emotional influences, the initially timid creatures began relentless and endless slaughter!

Now, the previously oppressive aura had undergone a massive change. Though the surrounding storms continued raging, Chen Feng could feel that the storm's velocity weakened by two-tenths, no longer possessing destructive power like before!

The biggest change was found in the previously created land through life force absorption. Standing on it now, Chen Feng felt warmth and comfort instead of chill and gloom!

Surrounding this land was now a layer of white halo, and from it, Chen Feng felt a strand of warmth!

The halo was the only warm and bright existence in this dark chaotic space. With strong senses, Chen Feng slowly let his consciousness seep out, suddenly struck by shock and awe!

Divinity!

The energy was incredibly magical. Even though it had fused into this broken plane and become very fragmented, it remained breathtakingly powerful. Each layer of halo it emitted brought an unimaginable beauty!

Though there were still no sun, moon, or flowers and trees, Chen Feng truly felt the power of life force!

This is the power of divinity!

And it was precisely because of this energy's emergence that the raging storms in the void were contained to a significant extent!

No wonder deities fought fiercely for divinity; because not only is divinity crucial for advancement, but it's also essential for creating a Divine Kingdom!

To a deity, a Divine Kingdom is a representation of themselves. Owning a true Divine Kingdom means providing their believers with a much stronger sense of belonging.

This is the prototype of a Divine Kingdom!

It's the place the faithful dream of reaching after death. The believers committed many fanatical deeds to step into a world free of sorrows and troubles!

The emergence of a Divine Kingdom unquestionably fulfills the hopes and dreams of believers.

A Divine Kingdom is not a fabricated world; unlike the latter created by spiritual power, a Divine Kingdom truly exists. However, to perfectly manifest into the state of a Divine Kingdom, an enormous amount of divinity is needed!

This was the truly shocking realization for Chen Feng: one strand of divinity led to such massive changes. If more were given to the plane to consume, it's unknowable what could happen.

Though divinity cannot create life and a sun, it can simulate everything using divinity, like the halo overhead representing sunlight, while the consumed air and energy perfectly integrate with this land.

Unlike the previous unrestrained consumption by the plane, causing major death events wherever it appeared, now the plane no longer devours in big gulps but takes a slow and steady approach by bit by bit extracting energy and life elements from the air.

During this slow absorption process, the plane further purged harmful substances remaining in the air, instead refining the broken plane to its highest energy state!

This is simply astounding!

Of course, all these things weren't the primary cause of Chen Feng's excitement. Instead, what truly caused him to lose composure was because the surrounding storms were firmly blocked outside of the halo due to the divinity, meaning the opened land, the size of an island, could now harbor life.

Without considering sources of water and materials, this space could sustain around ten thousand people.

Chen Feng intended to create an additional ace card here, attempting to settle some survivors inside, but reason overpowered this impulse!

In this world, although the environment is already quite stable, it still lacks the crucial necessity of water. No matter how much it develops inside, it cannot evolve a source of water. This means that to perfect this world, Chen Feng needs to use vast amounts of power to open up planes and seek the legendary elemental planes!

The elemental planes have four different territories, each belonging to the elements of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water, and each territory is controlled by an Elemental Lord.

Relying on Spiritual Power, Chen Feng mobilized some knowledge from the Abyss, finding all the prerequisites needed to create a [World].

To build a Divine Kingdom, a plane that can ensure believers can develop, survive, and reproduce within, aside from a stable environment, it also requires air, land, fire, and the crucial water element!

Air: Sky Castle

This air layer is positioned in the upper realm of the entire elemental plane.

A constant yellow sun hangs in the sky, surrounded by clouds, sometimes experiencing storms and various birds and never-before-seen strange creatures flying in the sky.

From the ground, the space above the sun isn't visible. That is the fort of the air element, supported by durable stone walls built from rocks stolen from the ground, floating in the air in the form of stone pillar groups.

Earth: Earth Realm

Below the Sky Castle lies the so-called Earth Realm.

The rough surface is pitted with cracks, often experiencing earthquakes. Sometimes the underground Fire Element erupts, forming large-scale volcanoes, but Serasen's subordinate earth element creatures always find ways to prevent these blatant invasion acts.

The Earth Realm is filled with various caves, tunnels, and countless small passages that are impossible to walk through entirely, inhabited by reptiles, burrowers, and other underground creatures.

Fire: Blazing Realm

Beneath the surface and land underwater, there's a space filled with high temperatures and ashes, known as the Blazing Realm.

Despite the harsh environment, travelers venturing into the Blazing Realm can still survive, as the universe follows the unchangeable law that fire cannot burn without air. The substances in the Blazing Realm form a cyclic system, where part of the flame extinguishes into ash, and the ash gradually transforms into a catalyst that fuels combustion.

Water: Bottomless Ocean

The ocean of the elemental plane surrounds the entire land, with monstrous waves constantly crashing against rocks and land.

The waters here are vast and deep, sometimes rushing into the fire realm beneath the surface.

The quality of the water itself continually changes—sometimes salty and turbid, sometimes clear and transparent.

Water element beings and sea-monster-like creatures survive in these waters; strangely, apart from them, the ocean seems to reject other creatures.

This is the Four Elemental Worlds. It's said that letting the planes fuse with divinity is merely the first step in Chen Feng's accidental success, but if he truly wants to restore vitality to the plane, he must wield tremendous power to complete contracts with these four elements. At that point, he'll naturally possess inexhaustible elemental energy, providing survivors the means to reproduce independently.

However, those elemental planes possess guardians of extreme power, and completing a contract with them naturally requires fulfilling certain conditions.

Those guardians are known as Giant Spirits!

Air Giant Spirit, Earth Giant Spirit, or Water Giant Spirit!

The Giant Spirits in the elemental planes follow special rules, abiding by the constraints of contracts and laws, engaging in transactions with the summoner when needed, which includes the issue of granting elements.

And even the weakest Giant Spirit's strength exceeds Epic; Mythical Tier? Perhaps even Eternal level? That kind of power is beyond Chen Feng's current imagination!

This land cannot accommodate many survivors because it lacks the water element. To maintain everyone's expenses, Chen Feng needs to daily pour sufficient water sources inside.

Chen Feng cannot waste time on such matters every day, so the plan can only be shelved.

However, even if it cannot serve as a residence, it can be used for short-term storage.

Just like this relocation, if the damaged plane could have fused earlier by ten days, Chen Feng could have completed this transportation task in merely three days!

And what does this mean?

It means that Chen Feng has a hub capable of transporting goods and life anytime and anywhere. Putting aside world creation, merely the effect of this hub is no weaker than a genuine Sub-divine Artifact, and perhaps even excels it!
