Chapter 116: Chapter 116: Julian Forrester Discovered the Secret Identity

Julian Forrester was long used to his friend’s boisterous nature. He walked to the living room sofa and sat down without even lifting an eyelid. "What news?"

Keith Sterling whipped out his phone and held the screen out. "News about Sierra!"

The casual indifference on Julian Forrester’s face vanished the moment he heard Sienna Everett’s name. He immediately looked up.

Keith found a video online, hit play, and said, "Reporters caught this today. Your wife went to the airport to pick someone up. And that someone was the founder of G.Y., Evan Shelby!"

Keith pointed at the screen, showing Sienna Everett and Evan Shelby at the airport, the gossip fiend in him burning with excitement.

"How does Sierra know a guy like Evan Shelby, and why did she go all the way to the airport just to pick him up? And Evan Shelby even said Sierra is his ’goddess’! He was acting all protective of her, too. It looks like they’ve known each other for a long time and have a pretty unusual relationship..."

Keith then pulled up another video. "And this one! Julian, look. Someone filmed Sierra and Evan Shelby eating together, and then they went shopping afterward! Julian, has your wife ever gone shopping with you?"

The moment Keith asked the question, he felt the atmosphere suddenly turn heavy. For an instant, the very air seemed to freeze and compress.

Keith immediately shut his mouth.

’Oh no, I really put my foot in my mouth!’

Julian Forrester sat on the sofa, his dark eyes fixed on the video. His expression was calm, and he made no violent moves, yet an icy, ruthless aura emanated from his very bones.

The man stared down at the video.

The scene of Sienna Everett and Evan Shelby shopping in a store had been secretly filmed by a clerk.

’Darling...’

’That Evan Shelby called her ’darling’...’

A cold glint flashed in Julian Forrester’s eyes, and his handsome, fair face looked as if it were coated in a thin layer of frost.

Keith Sterling cleared his throat dryly, determined to salvage the situation. "It’s fine, Julian. Your wife went to an amusement park with you!"

’We’re not losing!’

Julian Forrester pondered for a moment before asking in a low voice, "G.Y.’s chief designer, Kian... there’s a photo of her from behind?"

Keith was stunned for a second, wondering why Julian would suddenly ask such a question.

Once he processed it, Keith nodded. "Yes, there is. A photo of her back. You can tell it’s a woman, and rumor has it she’s from Celestria."

Julian Forrester’s eyes were downcast as his elegant, slender fingers tapped the phone screen a few times, pulling up that very photo from the internet.

The moment the woman’s back came into view, with just a single glance, Julian Forrester froze. His pupils constricted almost imperceptibly.

A few seconds later.

The man lowered his gaze and let out a soft, sultry chuckle.

Keith was already on pins and needles, regretting that he’d asked if Sierra had ever gone shopping with Julian.

But halfway through his anxious worrying, he suddenly heard Julian laugh, which only made him even more nervous!

Keith was so scared he swallowed hard. "Julian... w-what are you laughing at...?"

’Your sudden laugh is scaring me.’

Julian Forrester shot him a nonchalant glance, a slight arch to his brow, and showed him the photo of Kian’s back on his phone. "This is your sister-in-law."

Julian Forrester had never been curious about Kian before, so he’d never looked into her or made a point to see the photo. This was the first time he’d seen it.

Upon hearing Julian Forrester’s words, Keith was completely floored.

’What the hell?’

’Kian is Sierra, and Sierra is Kian?!’

"For real, Julian? How did you recognize her? Wait, you recognized that it was her just by glancing at this photo of her back?"

Keith was utterly and completely impressed.

The photo didn’t even show a sliver of her profile, yet just by looking at her back, his friend could recognize Sienna Everett.

’The extent of Julian’s devotion to Sienna Everett is just unreal.’

Keith had sensed it before, but this time the realization hit him even harder: Sierra held a truly special place in Julian’s heart!

Keith shot to his feet. "So you’re saying your wife is G.Y.’s other founder, and also their chief designer—the living legend of the design world!"

Keith clapped his hands in a moment of epiphany. "No wonder she and Evan Shelby are so close! It turns out they’ve known each other for ages. Wait a minute... if they’ve known each other that long, does that mean they’re more than just friends?"

Julian Forrester gave him a noncommittal glance. "The first menswear Kian ever designed was for me."

Keith: "..."

’Why do I get the feeling he’s silently staking his claim?’

’Seriously? Even in a situation like this, I’m still getting their PDA shoved in my face!’

...

That evening, Sienna Everett returned to Veridian Gardens.

Julian Forrester was in the kitchen, cooking.

Sienna Everett glanced around. He hadn’t let the Veridian Gardens chef cook; he was doing it himself again. Dressed in an apron, he gave off a strangely domestic vibe.

Sienna walked over, her mood light. "Let me help you out!"

He didn’t even look up. "No need. Just sit down and wait to eat."

However, Sienna Everett wasn’t particularly moved. "When it comes down to it, you just think my cooking is terrible, don’t you?"

The man chuckled, lazily lifting his gaze to meet hers. "Growing up, you were always the one finding fault with me. When have I ever found fault with you?"

Sienna Everett: "Then why won’t you let me help?"

Julian Forrester was washing vegetables. The water flowed over his well-defined, pale fingers, exuding an austere kind of sexiness.

He spoke casually, his voice low and magnetic. "Sienna, could you help me get an autograph from Kian?"

Sienna Everett froze for a moment before it dawned on her. "You saw the news about me picking up Evan Shelby at the airport, didn’t you? You’re a fan of Kian?"

Hearing this, the man stared at her without blinking, his dark eyes fixed on her. Every line of his face, from his brow bone to his jaw, exuded sensuality.

A corner of his lip curled up as a twinkling, tender, and affectionate smile rippled in his eyes. "I’m a fan. A very big fan."

Sienna Everett’s long, curly lashes fluttered.

’On his birthday, when I gave him clothes designed by Kian, he acted like he couldn’t care less. Why the sudden interest today?’

’Are my designs really that good? Good enough to make him this much of a fan?’

Sienna Everett’s red lips curved into a smile. A coquettish glimmer shone in her beautiful, lively eyes as she lifted her chin. "Of course. It’s just an autograph. I can get you a dozen, not just one!"

Seeing her proud and smug little expression, the man’s voice was laced with amusement. "Then I’ll have to thank you, darling."

Hearing that form of address, the smile on Sienna Everett’s face froze.

She stammered, "W-what did you just call me?"

Julian Forrester wiped his hands, then took slow steps toward her. He looked at her cute, wide-eyed expression of shock and reached out to gently pinch her earlobe.

"What’s wrong? He can call you that, but I can’t?"
