Chapter 137: Chapter 137: Brother Lets You Have a Few More Touches

Sienna Everett awkwardly touched her nose. ’This is so embarrassing,’ she thought. She blinked earnestly. "No, not at all. Someone of unusual status? You must have misheard."

Julian Forrester clearly didn’t believe her. He stared at her without a word, his gaze carrying an invisible aggression.

The standoff lasted less than three seconds.

Sienna Everett was the first to break, her head drooping dejectedly. "Okay, fine. There was someone. But I have absolutely nothing to do with that person now!"

Julian Forrester’s eyes narrowed. "So you had a relationship before?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

’Why are you so good at getting straight to the point?’

The phrase "had a relationship before" instantly brought back some memories Sienna Everett didn’t want to revisit, and her expression grew complicated. "Don’t even mention it. The past isn’t important. Anyway, I have nothing to do with that person anymore."

Seeing her secretive look, Julian Forrester could guess with a single glance that something must have happened between Sienna Everett and that person in the past.

And it wasn’t something normal...

A faint gloom gathered between Julian Forrester’s brows, and clouds churned in the depths of his indifferent eyes.

’Since Sienna Everett is unwilling to bring it up, he would just have to investigate it himself...’

After her confession, Sienna Everett scampered upstairs to her room. She had just sat down at her vanity when her phone buzzed with a message from Keith Sterling:

[Sierra, you said you had something to do and hung up earlier. Are you free now?]

Sienna Everett: [What’s up?]

Keith Sterling: [If you’re free, let’s keep talking~~ Who is that person of unusual status who’s pursuing you~~]

Sienna Everett was truly exasperated: [Can you stop being so nosy?]

Keith Sterling threw a virtual tantrum, wailing righteously: [I can’t!! Gossip is the source of all human joy! I can’t lose gossip, just like the West can’t lose Jerusalem!!]

Sienna Everett: "..."

Sienna Everett typed furiously: [Gossip this! Your brother heard everything just now!!]

Keith Sterling was stunned for two seconds, then couldn’t help but burst out laughing: [Hahahaha my brother heard? What a coincidence!]

’No doubt about it, my brother must be seething with jealousy.’

’Now that my brother knows a guy like that exists, he’ll definitely dig into it until he finds him, no matter what.’

An idea sparked in Keith Sterling’s mind. He shrewdly called Sienna Everett. Once she picked up, he said with a sly grin, "Sister-in-law, my brother actually has a lot of admirers too!"

This time, Sienna Everett didn’t use speakerphone and held the phone to her ear. "I know."

Now it was Keith Sterling’s turn to be surprised. "You know?"

Sienna Everett’s tone was matter-of-fact. "Of course. With a face like your brother’s, he’s never been short on admirers, even when we were kids."

Keith Sterling immediately struck while the iron was hot. "So how do you feel about that, Sister-in-law?"

Sienna Everett: "How am I supposed to feel? It is what it is."

Keith Sterling was more anxious than the parties involved, like an ant on a hot pan. "You’re not even a little bit jealous, Sierra?!"

Sienna Everett: "?"

Even after Keith Sterling hung up, Sienna Everett’s thoughts were still a bit dazed. ’Jealousy...’

It was the weekend, so Julian Forrester didn’t have to go to the office and was home all day.

After lunch, Sienna Everett sat on the living room sofa and grabbed a random bag of snacks from the snack cabinet.

Veridian Gardens never used to have these kinds of snacks. Julian Forrester knew she liked them, so he had placed a few snack cabinets around the house, specially stocked with her favorite things.

Sienna Everett tore open the snack bag and ate absentmindedly, her gaze secretly drifting to Julian Forrester, who wasn’t far away.

To be fair, he had always been handsome, even as a child. The line of his profile from his brow bone to his jaw was impeccably beautiful. He had a noble air about him and a graceful posture, and his every move exuded a heart-fluttering charm.

Having grown up with Julian Forrester, Sienna Everett naturally knew that he had always been popular with girls.

However, it was different from how he was with her.

Julian Forrester was probably more comfortable with her, so he had a lazy, casual air around her and enjoyed teasing her like she was a kitten.

In front of others, however, he was extremely cold and distant, barely saying a word, which led many girls to only dare admire him from afar, silently crushing on him.

’This whole jealousy thing...’

Just as Sienna Everett was pondering this, a shadow fell over her. Julian Forrester had appeared in front of her at some point.

Sitting on the sofa, Sienna Everett was significantly shorter than the standing man and was forced to tilt her head up to look at him. "What do you want?"

The man just stood there, his legs long and straight, his waistline lean and elegant, his aura unspeakably noble.

He lazily stuffed his hands into his trouser pockets, his tone teasing. "Nothing. Just noticed a little troublemaker was secretly watching me."

Sienna Everett’s confidence wavered. "...I was not secretly watching you."

He let out a noncommittal "Oh," raising an eyebrow. "Here, I’ll stand right in front of you. You can look at me openly."

Sienna Everett’s fingertips trembled. She pulled him down to sit on the sofa, not forgetting to retort, "Who wants to look at you? Sit down. Don’t stand in front of me."

Julian Forrester showed no resistance, letting Sienna Everett pull him down to sit on the sofa.

He sat sideways next to Sienna Everett, his elbow resting on the back of the sofa and one hand propping up his forehead. The blue veins on the back of his fair hand were clearly visible.

He didn’t say anything, just kept staring at her face nonchalantly.

Less than ten seconds passed.

Heat rose on Sienna Everett’s pale cheeks. She shoved the bag of snacks into his arms and said irritably, "Can you stop staring at me?"

The man looked down and chuckled. "My dear Sierra is so beautiful. Am I not allowed to look?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

Sienna Everett ground her teeth in a fit of pique and decided to teach this damn man a lesson.

She picked up a napkin and wiped her fingers one by one. Then she turned around, paused for two seconds, and suddenly leaned in with a wide grin. "Do you know why I was secretly watching you earlier?"

He raised an eyebrow slightly. "Hm?"

Sienna Everett raised her hand, her slender, soft fingertips gently caressing the man’s face. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

Julian Forrester froze.

A slight curve formed on Sienna Everett’s red lips. Her beautiful, captivating eyes held a faint smile, shimmering with a flirtatious yet radiant charm. "My dear Julian is so handsome. Am I not allowed to look?"

Sienna Everett deliberately threw his words back at him, her hand even giving his face two playful strokes. "Feels nice."

Seeing the man’s slightly stunned expression, Sienna Everett let out a proud and smug humph. ’See? I can handle you.’

After her teasing, Sienna Everett was in a great mood. She pulled her hand back and rose to leave with a triumphant swagger.

But the next second, her wrist was suddenly grabbed, and she was unexpectedly pulled into the man’s arms.

Julian Forrester’s eyes were darker than ever before.

He took Sienna Everett’s hand and placed it on his own face. His voice was low, husky, and casual, laced with a teasing smile. "Since Sienna likes it so much, I’ll let you touch it a few more times."

Sienna Everett: "?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Didn’t you say it feels nice? Here, touch it as much as you want."

Sienna Everett: "..."

And so, Sienna Everett was forced to touch his face for a long, long time. And she had to admit, it really did feel nice...

...
