Chapter 150: Chapter 150: The Everett Family DNA Test Results

Ian Prescott frowned the moment he saw the first line of the report.

It read: Sienna Everett, married. Spouse: Julian Forrester.

Ian Prescott: "?"

’Sienna Everett is already married?’

’And to Julian Forrester, of all people?’

It was hard for Ian Prescott not to know Julian Forrester’s name. After all, the Forrester Family’s influence was widespread, and the Prescott and Forrester families had done business before.

But even if Sienna Everett’s husband was an overwhelmingly powerful man like Julian Forrester...

...Ian Prescott still felt an indescribable sense of protectiveness.

He felt as if his own precious little sister had been snatched away.

Ian Prescott suppressed the strange feeling and continued reading.

Seeing the second piece of information, Ian Prescott’s brow furrowed again.

It read: Sienna Everett has close ties to the "God of Racing," Zephyr. Evidence suggests Sienna Everett may be Zephyr herself, but this has not been fully verified.

Ian Prescott was very interested in car racing, so of course he knew the famous Zephyr.

Zephyr had won three consecutive championships at the world’s most prestigious racing competition, achieving a three-peat. His results shattered all previous records, earning him the affectionate title "God of Racing" from fans.

Although Zephyr always wore something to cover his face during races, making him very mysterious, it was clear he was a man.

’Sienna Everett could be Zephyr?’

Ian Prescott’s gaze darkened. He remained silent for a few seconds before continuing to read the file.

The next section listed Sienna Everett’s specific date of birth.

The year of birth was the same as his lost sister’s, but the exact day was different.

Ian Prescott didn’t dwell on it. Sienna Everett grew up in an orphanage; it was possible her birthday was recorded incorrectly.

Ian Prescott continued reading.

This line stated: Before being taken back by the Everett family, Sienna Everett underwent three DNA tests with Morgan Everett. Each time, the results indicated a paternal relationship.

Ian Prescott’s gaze sharpened. He stared at the line, reading it carefully from beginning to end.

Sienna Everett had three DNA tests done with the Everetts, and every time the results showed she was related by blood, that she was the Everetts’ biological daughter...

Ian Prescott’s brows knitted tightly.

’Could I have the wrong person again?’

’Isn’t Sienna Everett my long-lost sister?’

Ian Prescott’s face was grim as he stared at the file in his hands, not saying a word.

The butler beside him asked tentatively, "Second Young Master, what do you make of this...?"

The butler sighed silently. Three DNA tests all showed that Sienna Everett and Morgan Everett had a father-daughter relationship.

It seemed Sienna Everett was not the long-lost young miss the Prescott Family had been searching for.

’Sigh. We came full of hope, only to return in disappointment again.’

Ian Prescott remained silent. The large room grew quiet, without a single sound.

He couldn’t help but recall the moment he met Sienna Everett—

There was a hint of his mother in Sienna Everett’s eyes and brows...

When he saw Sienna Everett, he felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity...

Ian Prescott closed his eyes for a moment. The fingers holding the file suddenly tightened. When he opened his eyes again, a dark light glinted in their deep recesses.

’I don’t want to give up so rashly.’

’I have to find a chance to get a DNA test done on Sienna Everett myself.’

’Only if the results then show that Sienna Everett has no connection to the Prescott Family will I truly give up hope...’

...

In the evening, Sienna Everett returned to Veridian Gardens. Julian Forrester hadn’t come back from the office yet.

She was getting bored all by herself when Keith Sterling came rushing in like a whirlwind.

"Good evening, sis-in-law!" After his greeting, Keith Sterling bounded towards the second-floor study, explaining as he went up the stairs, "I’m just here to grab something from my bro! I already told him!"

Sienna Everett nodded, telling him to go ahead and get it himself.

When Keith Sterling came back down, he was holding a small, dark blue box in one hand and his phone in the other, talking to someone. "Just figure something out and get me that silver FE supercar, okay?"

Hearing "silver FE supercar," Sienna Everett raised a surprised eyebrow. ’Doesn’t he like pink sports cars?’

Keith Sterling said a few more words to the person on the phone, then hung up.

Seeing Sienna Everett on the sofa, Keith Sterling’s eyes darted around as he decided to play the part of a crackpot love guru.

"Sierra, it’s almost the end of the workday. Aren’t you going to call my bro and ask when he’s coming home?"

Sienna Everett’s sparkling eyes blinked. "What’s there to ask? He’ll naturally come back when he’s done with work."

Keith Sterling: "..."

’How can she be so dense!’

Keith Sterling’s attempt was dead on arrival. His career as a love guru was over before it even began.

Sienna Everett beckoned to him. "Come here."

"What for?" Keith Sterling said, but his legs obediently carried him over.

Sienna Everett flashed a brilliant smile. "Don’t you like pink sports cars? I heard you on the phone just now. Why do you suddenly want that silver FE?"

The moment the silver FE was mentioned, Keith Sterling excitedly sat down next to Sienna Everett. "Sis-in-law, you know about the silver FE model race car?"

Sienna Everett nodded. "I do. Why?"

Keith Sterling instantly looked as if he’d found a soulmate. "It’s true I love my Little Pinky, but I also love this silver FE! Sierra, do you know the God of Racing, Zephyr?!"

Sienna Everett blinked and gave a light cough. "...I do."

With a look of pure adoration, Keith Sterling said, "The silver FE model used to be really obscure. Hardly anyone liked it, and they stopped production three years ago. But ever since Zephyr drove one, the car just blew up! Now it’s the kind of thing money can’t buy! I want to buy one too, but I’ve never been able to, so I’m asking a friend to see if we can get one from a car collector."

Sienna Everett: "..."

As Keith Sterling spoke, the excitement faded from his face. His shoulders slumped and he looked like a wilted eggplant. "The sad thing is, even though Zephyr was the God of Racing, I heard he’s dead. Died in a car crash."

Sienna Everett nearly choked. "Dead?"

’Who said I died?!’

’In a car crash, no less!’

Keith Sterling’s eyes were full of regret. "Ever since Zephyr announced his retirement two years ago, he hasn’t publicly participated in any races. Someone said they personally saw Zephyr get into a car accident and die in a pool of blood."

Keith Sterling sighed endlessly. "A legendary racer of a generation, to die in a car crash like that... a true case of heaven being jealous of talent."

Sienna Everett felt as if ten thousand alpacas were stampeding through her mind.

’Which bastard started this vicious rumor?!’

Keith Sterling heaved a heavy sigh. "The racers who idolized Zephyr even held an online memorial service for him on the forums. I wonder if Zephyr can see it from heaven."

Sienna Everett: "..."

’A memorial service?’

’Can I see it from heaven?’

On the surface, Sienna Everett’s face was calm and serene, but inside, she was about to explode!
