Chapter 167: Chapter 167: My Brother Definitely Misses You More

Sienna Everett’s ears turned red as she glared at him poutily, her clear eyes glistening.

’Of course, it wasn’t the first time he’d seen them. Ever since they’d started sleeping in the same room, in the same bed, it was inevitable that he’d catch a glimpse.’

’But for him to point it out so brazenly was still mortifying.’

To make matters worse, they were separated by a phone screen. Sienna Everett wanted to hit him but couldn’t. There was nothing she could do.

Sienna Everett snatched her phone from its stand. "I’m hanging up!"

Julian Forrester raised an eyebrow. "Getting busy?"

Sienna Everett: "Nope. I’m sick of looking at you. I’m going to go find someone else to hang out with."

The man’s eyes narrowed, his voice dropping low and deep. "Sienna Everett, say that again."

Knowing he couldn’t reach her through the phone, Sienna Everett lifted her chin, her tone defiant. "I’ll say it again. I’m sick of looking at you. Hmph!"

Julian Forrester let out a soft, enigmatic chuckle. "In that case, I’ll have to find a way to make sure you see me every day."

Sienna Everett: "???"

His voice suddenly dropped, a husky murmur laced with intimacy. "Baby."

A pleasant tingle shot through Sienna Everett’s ear, and a shiver ran down her spine. She self-consciously reached up to rub her earlobe. "What is it?"

The man’s dark eyes were fixed on her, his voice a low, husky, and alluring murmur. "Don’t go looking for anyone else, hmm?"

He said, "I can keep you company every day."

Sienna Everett’s heart inexplicably skipped a beat. She pressed her lips together, which were rosy and moist. After a long moment, she mumbled, "Who wants you to... I’m hanging up."

After hanging up, Sienna Everett stared at her phone screen for a long moment before she finally gave in and sent Julian Forrester a text—

[So you really were pouting.]

Julian Forrester: ?

...

Sienna Everett finished packing her luggage.

Stella Shaw came to find her. "Sienna, we have a dinner with the brand representatives in a bit. Afterward, we’ll discuss the detailed plan for the perfume commercial. I’ve already spoken to Orion about it."

"Okay," Sienna Everett said.

Dinner was at a local specialty restaurant with the brand representatives, the director, and other members of the production crew. Afterward, they all finalized the detailed plan for the commercial shoot.

The meeting didn’t end until nine o’clock that night.

When Sienna Everett returned to her room, she took a shower. She had just gotten out when she heard her phone ring.

She picked up her phone and saw it was a call from an unknown number.

Sienna Everett studied the screen. ’That guy, Shen, used a different number to text me today,’ she thought. ’So who’s calling?’

Sienna Everett swiped the screen to answer. "Hello, who is this?"

There was no response from the other end.

Sienna Everett’s brow furrowed. The situation felt disturbingly familiar, and her expression instantly iced over. "Mason Everett?"

The person on the other end’s breathing hitched, but they remained silent.

Her brow tightly furrowed, Sienna Everett hung up without another word.

’So frustrating.’

’He calls and never says a word.’

Sienna Everett finished blow-drying her hair. Just as she set the dryer down, her phone rang again. This time, it was Isabelle Sutton.

Her mood completely different from a moment ago, Sienna Everett answered cheerfully.

"Sienna, am I bothering you? I hope I’m not interrupting your rest," Isabelle Sutton asked immediately.

Sienna Everett smiled. "Not at all."

Isabelle Sutton was overjoyed, two dimples appearing on her cheeks. "That’s wonderful! Sienna, you’re in Meridia, Yesteria for work right now, aren’t you? I’m coming to Meridia in a few days too! I’ll come find you!"

Sienna Everett was more than happy to agree. "Of course! Are you coming to Meridia for a vacation?"

Isabelle Sutton paused shyly for a couple of seconds, then said in a bashful tone, "Not exactly a vacation... Do you remember how I told you I almost got into a car accident and met a handsome race car driver?"

"I remember," Sienna Everett said.

It was at the charity gala just a few days ago. Isabelle Sutton had nearly been in a car accident on her way over and had met a handsome man with sharp features and a black jacket. And that handsome man was a race car driver.

Sienna Everett laughed. "Did you find out his name?"

Isabelle Sutton replied, "I did! He said his name is Liam Lynn!"

For a second, Sienna Everett thought she’d misheard the name as Lucas Everett. The pronunciation was just similar enough to be confusing.

Isabelle Sutton said over the phone, "The world-class racing championship is being held in Meridia in a few days, and Liam Lynn is competing! He invited me to watch him race and even got me a ticket."

Sienna Everett knew, of course, that there was a race in Meridia soon. In fact, she was planning on going herself.

Sienna Everett teased, "It sounds like you and Liam Lynn have been talking a lot. He’s already inviting you to see him race in person."

Isabelle Sutton, who was shy by nature, immediately blushed. "Sienna, stop teasing me."

Sienna Everett could sense that Isabelle and this Liam Lynn seemed to have feelings for each other. There was a good chance they might get together.

Sienna Everett asked casually, "So how good of a racer is Liam Lynn?"

Isabelle Sutton replied, "He said he’s an amazing driver."

Sienna Everett raised an eyebrow slightly. ’So confident.’ Her curiosity was piqued. "Okay, let me know when you get to Meridia. I was planning to go to the race anyway, so we can go together. I can meet this Liam Lynn while we’re at it."

"That would be great! I’ll call you when I get there," Isabelle Sutton said. "Otherwise, I’d be a little scared going to Meridia all by myself."

"Don’t worry," Sienna Everett said. "I’ll be with you."

"Sienna, you’re the best! Thank you so much!"

Sienna Everett chatted with Isabelle Sutton for a few more moments before hanging up.

「Three days later.」

Sienna Everett and Orion Hawthorne spent the next three days shooting the perfume commercial. Because they had agreed on a detailed plan beforehand, the shoot went smoothly and was completed on schedule.

Throughout the three-day shoot, Julian Forrester would video call her every day or send her messages whenever he could.

Sometimes, Sienna Everett would be in the middle of a take and wouldn’t see his messages right away, but she always replied as soon as she could.

To Sienna Everett’s relief, that guy Shen hadn’t bothered her again.

Once the commercial was wrapped, they had one final dinner with the brand representatives, officially concluding the project.

Sienna Everett didn’t return home right away. The race was only a few days away, and she planned to see it before leaving.

Orion Hawthorne also stayed behind, wanting to experience the thrill of watching a live race.

Unexpectedly, Ian Prescott and Evan Shelby also flew into Meridia, saying they wanted to see the race as well.

The day before the race, Keith Sterling showed up too.

Sienna Everett: "..."

’Is everyone showing up for a party?’

Sienna Everett went to the airport to pick up Keith Sterling.

The moment they met, Keith Sterling swept her into a big hug. "Sierra, it’s only been a few days, but I’ve missed you like crazy!"

"You’re such a smooth-talker," Sienna Everett said.

Keith Sterling winked. "Heh, I bet my bro misses you even more!"

Sienna Everett shot him a look. "Oh yeah? Did your ’bro’ tell you that himself?"

Keith Sterling thumped his chest. "Does he need to? Please! A genius like me can tell just by looking, okay?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

Sienna Everett booked a room for Keith Sterling at her hotel.

The moment Evan Shelby saw Keith Sterling, they started bickering again.

Sienna Everett couldn’t be bothered to intervene.

That evening, Isabelle Sutton called to say her plane had landed.

Sienna Everett went to the airport to pick her up, planning to also meet this race car driver, Liam Lynn.
