Chapter 169: Choose Someone to Kiss
Chapter 169: Chapter 169: Choose Someone to Kiss
’That man in the black jacket... from the back, he looks a bit like... Lucas Everett?’
Sienna Everett took a closer look, but the man in the black jacket got into a car just then, and she could no longer see his face clearly.
’Was it just someone with a similar build?’
Isabelle Sutton sighed with regret. "Ah, I was hoping you could meet Liam Lynn, but something suddenly came up with his racing team, so he had to leave."
Sienna Everett’s eyes shifted, the corners of her eyes lifting slightly as she chuckled. "It’s fine. Isn’t he competing tomorrow? We’ll be able to see him then."
Isabelle Sutton wrapped both hands around her arm. "That’s true. We’ll see him tomorrow then!"
Sienna Everett led her to Ian Prescott’s car.
When Isabelle Sutton saw the man in the driver’s seat, she quickly gave a reserved greeting, "Mr. Prescott, hello."
One of Ian Prescott’s hands rested casually on the steering wheel, his prominent wrist bone exuding a sensual aura. He glanced at her nonchalantly in the rearview mirror. "Hello."
Sienna Everett got in and sat in the back, next to Isabelle Sutton.
Isabelle Sutton leaned close to Sienna Everett’s ear and whispered, "Sienna, I forgot to say at the charity gala last time, but your friend Mr. Prescott is so handsome! To use fan-speak, he’s got divine visuals!"
Sienna Everett couldn’t help but laugh out loud. "Then how does he compare to that racer, Liam Lynn?"
Isabelle Sutton thought for a moment, then said, "Oh, Mr. Prescott is still more handsome. Oh, right, right, and there’s Mr. Forrester! To use the internet’s flowery compliments, Mr. Forrester is textbook-level handsome!"
The image of Julian Forrester’s handsome and distinguished face appeared in Sienna Everett’s mind.
’The netizens weren’t exaggerating. Julian Forrester really is very handsome.’
Just as the two were whispering their discussion, Sienna Everett’s phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Julian Forrester.
Sienna Everett had just been talking about him, and now he was calling. She suddenly felt a pang of guilt.
After she answered, she heard the man’s deep, magnetic voice. "I calculated the time difference. It should be about dinnertime for you, right?"
The sun was about to set on the horizon. Sienna Everett said, "It’s evening. Yes, it’s time for dinner."
Julian Forrester: "Remember to eat a proper meal."
Sienna Everett: "...I’m not a child anymore. Of course, I know that."
They hung up after a few more words, and Sienna Everett went back to discussing the matter of handsomeness with Isabelle Sutton.
Ian Prescott watched the two young women in the back seat, their heads huddled together, wondering what they could be whispering about.
「Back at the hotel.」
Sienna Everett searched around and found everyone in Keith Sterling’s room.
She knocked and went in, only to see Orion Hawthorne’s and Evan Shelby’s faces covered in long strips of paper, looking utterly ridiculous.
Keith Sterling’s face, however, was completely clean.
When Orion Hawthorne saw Isabelle Sutton arrive, he raised a hand to greet her. But as soon as he spoke, a strip of paper near his mouth was blown away, making for a hilarious sight.
Sienna Everett couldn’t help but chuckle. "What are you guys doing?"
Keith Sterling, holding a deck of cards, shook them smugly. "We’re playing a game. Whoever loses gets a strip of paper stuck on their face. Tsk tsk, these two are no good. They can’t beat me!"
Sienna Everett raised an eyebrow. "Our Sterling is just an expert at having fun, isn’t he?"
Keith Sterling was even proud of it. "That’s right, I was born to play! Sierra, come sit down, too. The more, the merrier!"
Seeing his mischievous grin, Sienna Everett’s competitive spirit was instantly ignited.
Since she had nothing better to do, she pulled Isabelle Sutton and Ian Prescott down to sit with them, and everyone formed a circle.
Keith Sterling brought out a chubby little balloon-like toy. "First, the rules," he said. "After this thing is inflated, it’ll slowly pop. We pass it around one by one, and whoever’s holding it when it pops has to answer a truth question or do a dare."
Sienna Everett heard this and said, "Simple enough. Let’s start."
"Alright, this round starts now!" Keith Sterling announced, passing the prop balloon to Ian Prescott next to him.
Ian Prescott passed it to Isabelle Sutton.
Isabelle Sutton passed it to Sienna Everett.
Sienna Everett passed it to the next person.
Finally, as the prop balloon was about to pop, Evan Shelby deliberately slowed down, passing it to Orion Hawthorne as if in slow motion.
Orion Hawthorne was exasperated. Just as he was about to pass it to the next person, the balloon popped in his hands.
Keith Sterling immediately howled with laughter. "The balloon was passed from my hands, so I get to ask the question this time. You have to answer truthfully! Orion Hawthorne, I’m asking you, what’s the deal with you and that Yvette Garrison? Spit it out!"
Everyone knew what had happened at the charity gala, so as soon as the question was asked, they all turned to look at Orion Hawthorne with gossipy curiosity.
Sienna Everett gave Keith Sterling a thumbs-up. ’Good question.’
Orion Hawthorne squeezed the popped balloon in his hand and said ambiguously, "Yvette Garrison and I knew each other from before."
Keith Sterling immediately pressed with gossipy fervor, "You knew each other from before, and then what?"
Orion Hawthorne: "That’s a second question."
Keith Sterling: "...You just wait. I’ll get it out of you one way or another!"
Since the balloon had popped in Orion Hawthorne’s hands, it was his turn to start the pass.
After being passed through a few people, as luck would have it, the balloon popped in Keith Sterling’s hands.
Orion Hawthorne gave a sinister smile, looking at Keith Sterling with obvious intent for revenge. "Alright, pick one of the men here to kiss. Who would you choose?"
Keith Sterling: "???"
Shit.
’So shameless!’
Keith Sterling gritted his teeth. "Ask another question!"
The silver hair on Orion Hawthorne’s forehead was striking as the left corner of his lips curled up. "I just asked you to choose one. I didn’t say you actually have to kiss them. What are you so afraid of?"
Sienna Everett was laughing so hard her stomach hurt. "Go on, choose."
Isabelle Sutton was also curious about who Keith Sterling would choose.
Keith Sterling looked at each of them in turn, his gaze first landing on Ian Prescott, who was sitting beside him.
The instant Keith’s gaze fell on him, Ian Prescott narrowed his eyes, his smile turning exceedingly dangerous. "Little Keith, are you going to choose me?"
Keith Sterling’s eyelid twitched. Of course he didn’t dare choose him. He shifted his gaze to Evan Shelby.
’If it’s Evan...’
Keith Sterling was still mulling it over.
Evan Shelby raised his eyebrows, his blue eyes holding an inscrutable smile. "My dear, even though this is a game, let me tell you in advance: you’d better not choose me."
"Who wants to choose you, you narcissist!" Keith Sterling scoffed, then pointed a finger at Orion Hawthorne with a provocative grin. "It’s you! I choose you!"
After speaking, he deliberately made a move, lunging toward Orion Hawthorne and pretending he was going to kiss him.
Orion Hawthorne was so scared his legs went weak. "Don’t you come near me!" he yelled, trying to protect his chastity at all costs. "I only told you to choose, not to actually kiss anyone!"
Sienna Everett couldn’t stop laughing at the scene.
’Sure enough, when it comes to being shameless, no one can beat Keith Sterling.’
Of course, Keith Sterling was just trying to scare Orion Hawthorne. Seeing him yield, he let him off the hook.
They played a few more rounds, and unluckily, the balloon popped in Sienna Everett’s hands once.
This time, it was Evan Shelby’s turn to ask the question.
Evan Shelby looked at Sienna Everett with a mischievous smile. "Let’s not do a truth this time. How about a dare? Call the first contact on your phone and tell them you miss them."
Sienna Everett: "???"
Keith Sterling was even more anxious than Sienna Everett, nearly spitting out a mouthful of water. "Evan Shelby, what kind of lousy dare is that!"
’It would be fine if she said that to my brother, but saying it to someone else would be a total mess, wouldn’t it?’
’If the first contact is one of Sierra’s suitors, it would be even more chaotic!’
