Chapter 183: Chapter 183: Julian Forrester Is Here

"Sienna?"

Keith Sterling picked up the phone from the floor. He searched the entire room but couldn’t find her.

’Did she go out?’

’No, if she’d gone out, she wouldn’t have dropped her phone on the floor, and she definitely wouldn’t have left the door open.’

Keith Sterling’s heart sank.

’She couldn’t have actually gotten into trouble this time, could she?’

Yesterday, Sienna had been separated from the group by the crowd at the riverside and had run into Javier Prescott on the street.

Keith Sterling’s expression tightened. He immediately spun around and ran out of the room, heading first to find Ian and Javier Prescott to see if Sienna had gone to look for them.

Meanwhile, in Ian Prescott’s room.

Javier Prescott was sitting on the sofa, still holding the DNA test report. His cold, deep-set eyes were fixed on the results on the final page.

"Big brother, you were surprised too, weren’t you?"

Ian Prescott sighed softly.

The first time he met Sienna Everett, he had felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity. Plus, Sienna was the same age as his long-lost sister.

And the way Sienna’s eyes and brows were set bore a slight resemblance to their mother in her youth.

All these signs combined had given him the persistent feeling that Sienna might very well be the sister he had been searching for all this time.

But the test results had hit him like a ton of bricks.

They had found the wrong person. Again.

Sienna Everett was not related to the Prescott Family by blood.

Ian Prescott found it truly unexpected, even unacceptable. But the test results couldn’t be wrong. Sienna really wasn’t their sister.

He couldn’t imagine how much his sister had suffered, living adrift and alone. She should have been born with a silver spoon in her mouth into the Prescott Family, a carefree Little Princess showered with the love of her entire family...

Ian Prescott sighed again, a trace of vexation clouding his features.

"Big brother, what are you thinking about?"

Javier Prescott’s cool gaze remained on the report in his hand, his eyes filled with an unreadable emotion. Just as he was about to speak, a sharp "KNOCK KNOCK" sounded at the door.

Ian Prescott went to open the door and found Keith Sterling standing there.

"Has Sienna come looking for you?" Keith Sterling didn’t beat around the bush, getting straight to the point.

"No, why? What’s wrong?"

"It’s over. I think Sienna might really be in trouble this time." Keith Sterling was sweating profusely with anxiety, clutching Sienna Everett’s phone. "I just went to find her. Her room door was open, the phone was dropped on the floor, but she wasn’t there."

The moment Ian Prescott heard this, his expression turned grim.

Javier Prescott overheard their conversation and strode over, his voice carrying a cold authority. "The door was open? Go check the hotel’s security footage."

Keith Sterling nodded, then went to check Evan Shelby’s, Orion Hawthorne’s, and Isabelle Sutton’s rooms, but he couldn’t find Sienna Everett in any of them.

"Sienna’s missing?" Isabelle Sutton rushed out in her slippers, looking anxious.

"Did anyone come looking for her?" Orion Hawthorne asked in a low voice, his eyes filled with concern.

Hearing this, something clicked in Evan Shelby’s mind. His brows knitted together. ’It couldn’t be... that man, could it...?’

"Let’s check the hotel security footage first!" Keith Sterling’s palms were slick with sweat from the panic. He ran to the front desk to request access to the hallway cameras.

A five-star hotel like this would normally have cameras in the hallways.

Sienna Everett’s door was open, but she was gone. If someone had come for her, checking the hallway footage would reveal who it was.

Keith Sterling explained the situation to the front desk agent.

The young woman at the front desk looked troubled. "To review security footage, I’ll have to request permission from the hotel manager."

Keith Sterling’s brows furrowed. ’Going through the chain of command layer by layer would take forever.’

Just then, Javier Prescott spoke up, his voice deep and cold. "Is your hotel manager Alfred? I’ll give him a call."

"Mr... Mr. Prescott!" The front desk agent immediately recognized Javier Prescott, and Ian Prescott beside him. After all, the Prescott Family had business interests in Meridia, and their status was not to be underestimated.

As he spoke, Javier was already dialing Alfred’s number and put the call on speaker.

A moment later, the front desk agent heard the hotel manager’s obsequious, fawning voice. "Yes, yes, Mr. Prescott! I’ll have someone pull up the footage for you immediately!"

The agent understood instantly.

These people were distinguished guests who could not be slighted.

She immediately used the hotel’s internal line to ask the security office staff to pull up the surveillance footage.

In the security office.

The staff didn’t dare delay, quickly pulling up the footage from the hotel hallways and elevators.

However, the display showed that while the cameras were working fine before 4:00 PM, they had suddenly gone out afterward. The screen was just a sheet of black, showing nothing at all.

"There might be a problem with the wiring. The camera must have suddenly broken," the staff member speculated.

Keith Sterling’s heart plummeted. ’A problem with the wiring? The footage was definitely destroyed on purpose.’

Ian Prescott’s brows knitted tightly. "Someone definitely came for Sienna."

Javier Prescott took out his phone and called his accompanying bodyguards, ordering them to search the vicinity for Sienna Everett.

A flicker in his eyes, Evan Shelby took his phone, stepped aside, and scrolled through his contacts to dial a number.

But... it wouldn’t connect...

Damn it!

A cold sweat broke out on Keith Sterling’s back. He was both frantic and terrified. If something had really happened to Sienna, how was he going to explain it to his brother?

As scared as he was, he knew he had to tell his brother what was happening as soon as possible.

With trembling hands, Keith Sterling pulled out his phone and called Julian Forrester.

The call connected almost immediately.

Keith Sterling swallowed hard, his hands and feet turning ice-cold as he spoke. "Bro, Sienna and I were booked on a flight back home tomorrow, but this evening, she suddenly... she suddenly disappeared..." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

After Keith finished speaking, the air seemed to fall silent for a moment, as if it had been compressed and frozen. Even through the phone, he could feel a dreadful, chilling hostility.

"What do you mean, ’disappeared’?" The chill in the man’s voice was bone-deep.

"It’s..." Keith Sterling wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and recounted every detail: how he had gone looking for Sienna Everett, found her door open with her gone, and discovered that the hotel’s security cameras were broken.

"Bro, our guess is that someone came for Sienna."

Keith Sterling’s face was a mask of utter misery. The culprit was so damn calculating, deliberately destroying the security footage. Now there was no way to find out who it was.

Julian Forrester’s eyes narrowed slightly, an arctic storm raging within them. His handsome, severe face was devoid of expression. "I know who it is."

"Huh?" Keith Sterling was stunned, his eyes flying wide. "Bro, you know who it is? What do you mean? Who is it?"

"I’m five minutes away from your hotel."

"What?!" Keith Sterling was floored again. "Bro, you came to Meridia? And you’re almost at our hotel?"

’Why would his brother suddenly show up?’

’And without telling anyone.’

’Did he come all this way just to surprise Sienna?’

Regardless, now that his brother was here, Keith Sterling felt as though he had found his backbone. His fear and panic began to subside.
