Chapter 185: Chapter 185: Help You Get Rid of Him?

Sienna Everett asked irritably, "What did you bring me here for?"

The man bent down slightly, his gaze level with hers. A cryptic smile played in his charming eyes. "To be your other man, of course."

"..."

Sienna Everett took a step back, putting some distance between them.

The man glanced unhurriedly at the leg she had moved back. "Baby, the way you’re trying so desperately to get away... it hurts my feelings a little."

Sienna Everett rolled her eyes and deliberately took another step back.

He let out an inscrutable scoff, then suddenly strode forward, closing the distance until he was right in front of her. His eyes, dark and intense, locked onto hers. "Running? You think you can run away from me?"

His low voice carried a strange sort of danger, mixed with a suggestive sexiness.

"Simon Sinclair!"

Sienna Everett called his name, cursing him inwardly. ’Bastard.’ She backed away again. "Tell me the truth. You haven’t come looking for me at all these past few days. Why show up so suddenly today?"

He ignored her question, a half-smile on his face. "Judging by that look on your face, you’re cursing me out in your head again, aren’t you?"

"..."

He didn’t seem to mind, slowly sliding his hands into his trouser pockets. He was tall and slender, and his tone was casual as he said, "I didn’t come looking for you these past few days because Julian Forrester has been secretly causing trouble for me."

Sienna Everett’s eyes widened abruptly.

’Julian Forrester?’

Simon Sinclair stared at her and asked meaningfully, "Do you think he’s using these behind-the-scenes tricks because he wants to keep me too busy to find you?"

Sienna Everett blinked.

’Julian Forrester knows Simon Sinclair?’

’Since when?’

’And he’s been secretly stopping Simon from bothering me?’

Simon Sinclair suddenly raised a hand, cupping the back of her head and turning it to face him. "I’m the one in front of you now. Are you still thinking about him?"

’...’ ’What kind of weird, nonsensical crap is he talking about?’

A look of utter exasperation on her face, Sienna Everett swatted his hand away. "Just say it. What did you really bring me here for?"

His charming eyes narrowed slightly. "What, have you forgotten the promise you made me?"

Sienna Everett froze for a moment.

’For the life of me, I really can’t remember.’

Simon Sinclair suddenly smiled, but it was an exceptionally dangerous-looking smile. "You really forgot? Fine. Then you can stay here until you remember, you little ingrate."

The moment she heard that, Sienna Everett turned to run.

’He’s actually trying to keep me here against my will. This psycho.’

The next second, the man grabbed her arm.

Sienna Everett glanced back impatiently.

Simon Sinclair looked down at her.

He was wearing a black shirt, his skin a cool pale. He tilted his head slightly, a lazy, wicked look in his eyes. "Lucas Everett bullied you, didn’t he? Want me to take care of him for you?"

Sienna Everett shook his hand off. "This is my business. Stay out of it."

...

「The Hotel.」

Ian Prescott was momentarily stunned when he heard Simon Sinclair’s name.

Come to think of it, Simon Sinclair and the Prescott Family once had a rather unusual relationship.

Ian Prescott looked at Evan Shelby. "Sienna and Simon Sinclair know each other?"

Evan Shelby first glanced at Julian Forrester, who was taking a call nearby, before lowering his voice. "Simon Sinclair has always been a suitor of hers. As far as I know, his feelings for Sienna Everett are highly unusual—not the kind an ordinary person would understand. But he would never, ever hurt her."

Ian Prescott’s expression darkened at his words. ’So Simon Sinclair once pursued Sienna Everett.’

Then, as if he’d thought of something, his expression softened and his tone became playful. "What a coincidence."

"Wait, what’s a coincidence? What are you two being so cryptic about?" Keith Sterling demanded, suddenly annoyed. "Who the hell is this Sinclair guy, anyway?"

’To be able to spirit Sierra away from the hotel without a trace... no ordinary person could pull that off. This Simon Sinclair must have some serious backing.’

As Keith Sterling was asking, he saw Julian Forrester hang up his phone and hurried over. "Bro, how did it go?"

Julian Forrester shot a hostile glance at Evan Shelby, who was standing a short distance away.

Evan Shelby’s scalp tingled. ’We were talking about Simon Sinclair so quietly. How did he still overhear us?’

"Bro, did you find any trace of Sierra?" Keith Sterling pressed.

"I found a lead." Julian Forrester raised his wrist to check the time, then strode out of the hotel.

Keith Sterling’s face lit up, and he hurried to follow. "Bro, I’m coming with you!"

...

「A Private Villa by the Sea.」

「Third-Floor Balcony.」

The man was sitting on the balcony railing, his legs dangling dangerously over the edge.

The sea breeze ruffled his black hair, making his black silk shirt billow. The line of his collarbone was sharp and distinct as his handsome, charming eyes gazed out at the sea.

Sienna Everett was in no mood to admire the scenery. Seeing him perched so dangerously on the railing, she suddenly asked, "Aren’t you afraid I’ll just push you off?"

The man seemed completely unconcerned. Even in such a precarious position, he showed no defensiveness toward her. He simply asked, "Push me off, and then what?"

"Then you’d fall to your death."

He let out a low chuckle and turned his head to look at her. "If I die, how about I take my baby with me?"

"..."

’He’s completely lost it again!’

Simon Sinclair suddenly asked, "You had a DNA test done with the Prescott Family?"

Sienna Everett froze, her brow furrowing slightly. "How do you know that?"
