Chapter 309: Chapter 309: Meeting the Parents of the Prescott Family

Sienna Everett lay on her stomach on the bed, chatting idly with Isabelle Sutton. After finishing the call, she hung up and looked up to see Julian Forrester standing by the drawer, seemingly looking for something.

Because his back was turned to her, Sienna couldn’t see what exactly he was looking for. "What are you looking for?" she asked casually.

The bedroom was very large and was cleaned by maids every day. Since she didn’t have to clean or organize anything, she rarely rummaged through things. However, helping him find something was the least she could do.

Sienna scrambled up from the bed and said in a brisk tone, "I’ll help you look!"

Julian’s fingers lightly tapped the gift box twice. After a few seconds of thought, he placed the lid back on, pushed the drawer shut, and turned to look at Sienna. His lips curved into a faint smile as he asked in a casual drawl, "Do you have any plans for the next two days, Sierra?"

Sienna shook her head. "No, why? Do you have any plans?"

Since she had just climbed out of bed, one of the straps of her slip dress had slid down, revealing a shoulder as fair and smooth as jade. She looked incredibly seductive without even realizing it.

Julian’s Adam’s apple bobbed. His eyes darkened as he walked over to her. His long, fair fingers hooked onto the thin strap of her dress—it looked as though he could snap it with a simple tug, stripping her of her clothes entirely... Restraining the desire bubbling up from the bottom of his heart, he gently pulled the strap back into place.

When his fingers brushed against her warm, fragrant, and snow-white skin, his throat tightened. His deep voice carried a lingering trace of huskiness. "I’m taking you somewhere tomorrow."

"Where to?" Sienna widened her eyes in confusion, blinking curiously.

Endeared by how adorable she looked, Julian couldn’t help but lower his head and kiss her. His lips met her soft, rosy ones in a lingering, affectionate kiss. "...A place you loved when you were a child."

Sienna thought for a moment, not quite sure what he was up to. But she didn’t have the brainpower left to dwell on it now. When he kissed her, she subconsciously raised her arms to embrace him.

Julian nuzzled and kissed her softly over and over again. The thin strap he had just pulled up with his own hands was now pushed down by him again. His burning kisses trailed down her neck, searing onto her delicate, milky-white shoulder...

A sudden shiver ran through Sienna, and her body trembled slightly. Her arms around the man tightened unconsciously, and a layer of mist clouded her sparkling eyes. The air grew thick with intimacy, and the rising temperature flushed their cheeks with a rosy hue.

Suddenly, the jarring ringtone of a phone shattered the quiet of the room.

Sienna managed to pull a sliver of sanity back from the scorching, tantalizing haze of desire. "Wait, my phone is ringing!"

Julian frowned in frustration, clearly displeased by the interruption. He buried his forehead in the crook of her neck, panting softly, almost inaudibly.

Listening to his lethally sexy breaths, Sienna’s ears burned red hot. Feeling inexplicably parched, she licked her lips. "Um, I should go see who’s calling..."

The man pulled her into a tight, forceful hug once more before finally releasing her to answer the phone.

Sienna’s phone was right there on the bed. She scooped it up and saw that it was Stella Shaw calling. Stella had seen the police report about the kidnapping online and had immediately called out of concern. Learning that Sienna was unharmed and that Morgan and Shannon Everett had been brought to justice, she finally breathed a sigh of relief. The two of them chatted for a few more moments before hanging up.

Sienna sat on the edge of the bed and beckoned to Julian. Just as she was about to speak, her phone rang again. The caller ID read: Ian Prescott. She swiped the screen to answer.

"Sienna, I just saw the police report about Morgan Everett," Ian’s worried voice came through the line. He asked anxiously, "How are you? Did he hurt you?"

Julian walked over and sat down beside her on the bed. Nestling into his embrace, Sienna heard Ian’s anxiety and quickly reassured him. "No, he didn’t hurt me. Plus, he’s already been arrested, so don’t worry."

"That’s a relief!" Ian exhaled heavily. He hadn’t expected those two idiots, Morgan and Shannon, to take such a risk and pull a despicable stunt like kidnapping.

Acting like a fretful mother hen, Ian fired off several more questions about the details. Only upon confirming that Sienna hadn’t been threatened or disadvantaged by Morgan did the heavy rock in his heart finally drop.

Finally, Ian asked with a hint of nervousness, "Sienna, are you busy lately?"

"Not really, why?" Sienna replied.

"Even though we’ve done two paternity tests confirming that you aren’t related to the Prescott Family, my parents are very fond of you," Ian explained. "They’ve been following your news online. Now that they’ve heard about the kidnapping, they’re incredibly worried and really want to see you. We were wondering if you’d have the time—my parents would like to fly over to Celestria to meet you."

Sienna was taken aback. "Your parents want to see me?" Sitting beside her, Julian also looked mildly surprised upon hearing this.

"Yeah," Ian chuckled. "They were worried you might not want to see them or that it might be inconvenient, so they had me ask you first. If you’re unwilling, that’s completely fine too."

"No, it’s not that I’m unwilling." Sienna thought it over. It was just a meeting with Ian’s parents; there was no harm in that. "When do they want to meet?"

"If you agree, they’ll fly to Celestria in three days." Hearing her consent, Ian’s voice grew noticeably more excited, unable to hide his joy.

"Okay, then let’s make it three days from now!" Sienna agreed generously.

The next second, Javier Prescott’s voice came through the line, trying his best to sound gentle. "Sienna, thank you for agreeing to meet with my parents."

Sienna paused. "Javier?"

Ian’s tone turned exasperated. "My older brother insisted I put you on speakerphone. He wanted to hear your voice, too!"

Sienna was left completely speechless.

Before Sienna could say a word, she heard Javier threatening Ian coldly through the phone, "You talk too much. Shut up."

Ian immediately tattled, gleefully exposing him. "Sienna, did you hear that? That gentle voice he used earlier was entirely faked! His true colors are just this cold and ruthless! All he does is pretend! What a two-faced hypocrite!"

Javier’s face darkened. How dare his brother ruin his image in front of Sienna! Great. He felt the overwhelming urge to beat up his little brother again.

On the other end of the line, Sienna was speechless once more.

After she hung up, Julian asked thoughtfully, "The Prescott parents want to see you?"

Sienna hummed in agreement. "They said we’ll meet in three days. It’s just a meeting, nothing to fret over. Sigh... they’ve also been looking for their lost youngest daughter for so long. It truly breaks my heart to see parents suffer like this."

"Shall I go with you?" Julian offered.

"We’ll see. But more importantly, where exactly are you taking me tomorrow?" Sienna asked, her curiosity eating away at her.

The man curled his lips into a smirk and drawled lazily, "You want to know?"

Sienna nodded her little head vigorously. "I really want to know!"

He chuckled, deliberately teasing her. "Keep wondering, then. You’ll find out tomorrow."

Sienna widened her eyes in disbelief. Huffing, she grabbed his hand and gave it a little bite. Still unsatisfied, she asked, "Do we have an extra blanket for the couch?"

Julian shot her a puzzled look.

A few seconds of silence passed before the man raised an eyebrow slightly. With a profound look in his eyes, he asked, "Are you trying to make me sleep on the couch?"
