Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Angrily Confronting Fifth Brother Dustin Everett

Sienna Everett was speechless. She cast a nonchalant glance his way. "And why should I say hello to a dog?"

Even though she was sitting down, making her shorter than Dustin Everett, her upward glance at him radiated an aura of effortless superiority that seemed to come from her very core.

Dustin Everett was momentarily speechless, the look in his eyes sharp enough to kill.

’This sister of mine is getting bold. No wonder Shannon has been getting the short end of the stick with her lately!’

The moment Sienna Everett spoke, the spacious lounge fell silent.

To actually... compare Dustin Everett to a dog...

Never mind the fact that Dustin Everett was her own brother. In the entertainment world, his fame and popularity were immense. He was a top-tier male singer, put on a pedestal wherever he went.

Sienna Everett was the very first person to dare call Dustin Everett a dog in public!

In the deathly silence.

Orion Hawthorne let out a snort of laughter. He made no attempt to hide it, his shoulders shaking as he laughed with blatant arrogance.

Others might be intimidated by Dustin Everett’s fame and background, but he certainly wasn’t.

’Besides, I’ve never liked the guy. Sienna Everett’s comeback was incredibly satisfying!’

After a few seconds of stunned silence, Selena Hansen shot to her feet, fawningly offering the seat beside her. "Dustin, there’s a spot over here. Come, sit!"

Dustin Everett shot Sienna Everett a glare before walking over to Selena Hansen and striking up a conversation.

He was incredibly warm toward Selena Hansen, a stark contrast to how he had just treated Sienna Everett. It was as if Selena was his real sister.

A short while later, a staff member came over to announce that the show was about to start filming.

This was an outdoor, live-streamed variety show.

The moment the live stream went up, fans of each celebrity began flooding the chat.

This was especially true for Orion Hawthorne’s and Dustin Everett’s fans, who were showering them with extravagant praise.

After all, Orion Hawthorne and Dustin Everett were the biggest stars on the show, with the largest fanbases.

Selena Hansen came in next. Her fans were a formidable force, not to be outdone.

In comparison, new artists like Sienna Everett and Isabelle Sutton had much smaller fanbases, and their fans could barely get a word in edgewise.

Aside from the dedicated fans, there were also plenty of online spectators who were just there for the drama.

[Heard Sienna Everett and Dustin Everett were on the same show, so you know I had to drop everything and come watch!]

[+1 to the comment above, but I have to say, Sienna Everett is sooooo pretty! Her visuals are insane!]

The production team, always looking to stir up drama, deliberately arranged for Sienna Everett and Dustin Everett to stand next to each other after the six guests made their entrance.

However, Sienna didn’t even bother to put on an act. She simply walked away, annoyed at the prospect of standing near Dustin for even a second.

This mercilessly blunt moment instantly stunned the viewers in the live chat.

[Holy crap, is it getting this intense right from the start?]

[They’re on camera! She won’t even pretend for a second. Her disdain for Dustin Everett is practically leaking through the screen!]

[Dustin Everett is a huge star with over eighty million fans. I bet he’s never been shown this much contempt before, tsk tsk...]

The production team was keeping a close eye on the stream’s popularity. As soon as that short clip aired, the viewership numbers skyrocketed.

’Excellent. We invited the right guests for this episode.’

’This Sienna Everett... she’s a real headline-maker.’

Afterward, the production team began the warm-up segment, leading the six guests to an outdoor equestrian center.

"Alright, everyone, for a quick warm-up, we’re going to have a horse race! There’s a small prize for first place!"

Sienna’s eyes lit up the moment she heard they’d be riding horses.

Just a few days ago, Julian Forrester had offered to take her to a stable, but she had painfully declined, not wanting to be reminded of the time he’d forced a kiss on her.

She hadn’t expected a riding segment on the show today. It was the perfect chance to get her fix.

The director told the guests to go to the stables and pick their horses.

Sienna Everett’s eyes immediately landed on an Andalusian Horse. It was snow-white, magnificent and elegant—a dashing prince among horses.

Orion Hawthorne chose a Thoroughbred, a breed known for its incredible speed and well-suited for racing.

Dustin Everett picked a Hanoverian Horse, a breed with a light, graceful build, excellent at jumping obstacles, and a favorite among competitive riders.

Seeing the white horse Sienna had chosen, Orion Hawthorne glanced at her several times. He remembered what Stella Shaw had told him and couldn’t help but offer a word of caution. "Sienna, that horse is beautiful, but it’s known to be very spirited. Are you sure you can handle it?"

Isabelle Sutton chimed in, "Sienna, maybe you should switch to a gentler one."

Sienna raised an eyebrow. "No need. This is fine."

’How is this horse spirited? It’s perfectly well-behaved.’

’Compared to the wild steed I tamed as a child, this one is practically a lamb.’

’Besides, I’ve always liked this breed.’

Dustin Everett narrowed his eyes. He had originally planned to go easy on Sienna for the sake of appearances on the show, but then he remembered what had just happened. She had called him a dog and openly showed her disgust for him on camera.

And thinking about how Shannon had been bullied by her lately, Dustin sneered, "What does she know about racing? She just picked it because it looks pretty. All style, no substance."

Selena Hansen quickly jumped in to back up Dustin, her tone dripping with insinuation. "Sienna, it’s understandable to like pretty horses, but this is a competition. You can’t just choose based on looks."

Chloe Chambers glanced at the others but chose to remain silent.

Sienna shot an indifferent glance at Dustin. "I don’t know about racing. Not like you do. So, first place is all yours today, then?"

Dustin was taken aback. He glanced at the other guests. "I never said that!"

Sienna gave a scornful laugh. "Then why are you babbling on about it?"

Orion watched, dumbfounded. ’Does this Sienna Everett really need me to look out for her? She’s a warrior all on her own!’

Isabelle Sutton quickly tugged on Sienna’s sleeve.

Sienna gave her a reassuring shake of the head, silently telling her it was fine.

’If it were anyone else, I wouldn’t bother bickering like this.’

’But the Everetts are different.’

’I will never back down for the Everett Family again, and I will never let them bully me in the slightest.’

Seeing their idol get dissed like that, Dustin Everett’s fans in the live chat immediately lost it and took to their keyboards to fire back.

[Damn, Sienna Everett, who do you think you are? You’re just a rookie!]

[Dustin Everett is not only your brother, he’s also your senior in the industry! Can you show some respect? Don’t be so shameless!]

[You’re a total amateur who knows nothing about racing. Our Dustin was kind enough to give you a warning, and this is how you treat him? Well, I hope you fall off that horse!]

[Unbelievable. Why are you even trying to ride if you know nothing about it! All you care about is looks. Just fall off and die already!]

The live chat instantly became a toxic cesspool, filled with Dustin Everett’s fans tearing into Sienna Everett.

「In the midst of the chaos, the horse race began.」

With the starting signal, the six guests mounted their horses. The first to reach the finish line would be the winner.

Dustin Everett’s eyes were locked on Sienna. He watched as she vaulted onto her horse. Just as he expected, the white steed proved its fiery nature. It raised its front hooves, letting out a furious whinny as it reared its head back, trying to throw its rider off.

A triumphant smirk spread across Dustin’s face.

’I told you that horse was spirited. Sienna knows nothing about racing; she just picks things that look good.’

’Heh. Just wait for her to get thrown.’

’When she falls, she’s bound to get hurt. And as her dear brother, I certainly won’t feel a shred of pity for her!’
