Chapter 94: Chapter 94: Dustin Everett: This Kick Was From Sienna, and I’m Happy

"No!" Dustin Everett shook his head violently, his eyes red and on the verge of tears. "Master, I’m your disciple. I used to be your only disciple... your only one..."

Now she didn’t want him anymore, and she was even thinking of taking on another disciple.

This was a dagger to his heart...

Sienna Everett’s tone was indifferent, her exquisite and vibrant face devoid of any expression:

"Dustin Everett, I’ll remind you one last time. Our master-disciple relationship is over. From now on, you are not to say you’re my disciple, nor are you to call me Master again."

"As for my one and only disciple, now or in the future, it will absolutely never be you."

The moment the words left her lips, Dustin Everett felt as if his heart had been brutally ripped from his chest and slammed onto the ground.

It felt as though a bloody hole had been punched through him, letting a cold wind howl through it, the pain so intense it felt like his blood had stopped flowing.

Dustin Everett’s eyes burned as tears began to stream out, and he sobbed as he pleaded.

"Mas... Sienna, you can curse me, you can drive me away, anything. This is the retribution I deserve."

"But, can you please not take someone else as your disciple... I’m begging you..."

Being taken in as SG’s only disciple was the greatest thing that had ever happened in his short life.

It was also the belief that had helped him climb out of the mire.

But now, it was all shattered.

He couldn’t blame anyone else. It was all his own doing.

Like a drowning man desperate for a lifeline, Dustin Everett frantically reached for Sienna Everett’s hand.

"Sienna, I’m so sorry. Your Fifth Brother let you down..."

"Can you please not take on another disciple just yet... Give me a chance to make it up to my own sister, okay...?"

He owed his own sister far too much.

No matter how he tried to make it up to her, it would never be enough.

Sienna Everett’s gaze sharpened. As Dustin Everett’s hand reached out, she deftly dodged him. "Don’t touch me!"

Dustin Everett’s fingers froze, and he meekly drew his hand back.

Sienna Everett glanced at Orion Hawthorne and gave him a look. "Let’s go."

Orion Hawthorne shot a look at Dustin Everett. ’For someone who used to be so arrogant and pretentious, he deserves to end up like this, a dog in the gutter.’

However, Sienna Everett and Orion Hawthorne had only taken a few steps before Dustin Everett started following them again.

Wherever Sienna Everett went, he followed.

Like a persistent leech.

Sienna Everett stopped, her brow furrowing with cold annoyance.

Dustin Everett immediately asked, cautiously, "Sienna, it’s already the afternoon. You must be hungry, right? I’ll take you out to eat! I know a restaurant nearby that has Phoenix Tail Shrimp, your favorite!"

As he spoke, Dustin Everett gave a bitter smile.

He only knew Sienna Everett liked Phoenix Tail Shrimp because of how he used to bully her at the Everett family home. He would watch for which dish she liked at the dinner table, then throw it to the dogs, a clear statement that he’d rather feed the dogs than her, humiliating her by suggesting she was worse than one.

’How could I have been such a bastard back then!’

Filled with remorse and self-loathing, Dustin Everett wished he could just slap himself. "Sienna, let me take you to that restaurant..."

Before he could finish, Sienna Everett, utterly fed up with him, lifted her foot and kicked him.

Dustin Everett clutched his stomach, staggering back several steps.

With peace and quiet finally restored, Sienna Everett left with Orion Hawthorne.

Watching Sienna Everett’s retreating back, Dustin Everett clutched his stomach, a look of longing on his face.

’Even though Sienna kicked me, I don’t blame her at all.’

’If anything, she kicked me too lightly.’

’She should have beaten me senseless!’

Dustin Everett stood there, utterly lost. Long after Sienna Everett’s figure had disappeared from view, he was still unwilling to leave.

He desperately wanted to chase after her. In all this time, he had never once had a proper moment with his own sister.

But Sienna was clearly annoyed by him.

’How can I ever make it up to my sister...?’

At some point, Wyatt Everett found him. He glanced around, and not seeing Sienna Everett, regretted that he had arrived too late.

He had seen the live broadcast of the show and learned that Sienna Everett was SG. Anticipating something like this, he had rushed over.

Unfortunately, he was still too late and had missed seeing his sister.

Seeing Dustin Everett looking like a beaten dog, Wyatt Everett couldn’t help but gloat.

"Serves you right for trying to bully Sienna at the shooting range the other day! I went easy on you with that punch!"

Dustin Everett gave him a weary look. "Third Brother, has Sienna forgiven you?"

That hit a nerve. Wyatt Everett’s desire to gloat vanished, and his face fell in dismay. "...No."

Dustin Everett: "Third Brother, how could we have been so blind, to miss out on such a wonderful sister?"

Wyatt Everett: "Because we weren’t human. We were worse than beasts."

Dustin Everett: "Mm, you’re right, Third Brother."

This was an outdoor parking lot. Although there weren’t many pedestrians, people did pass by occasionally.

The two brothers found a secluded spot and sat on the curb, each looking more dejected than the last. They looked as miserable as if their parents had just died.

"Third Brother, I finally understand why you were so insistent on kicking Shannon Everett out of the Everett Family. I actually tried to stop you back then. How ridiculous of me."

"Don’t mention that disgusting creature to me."

"Third Brother, let’s work together this time. Let’s join forces and drive Shannon Everett out of the Everett Family!"

"Alright!" As long as it was to vent Sienna Everett’s anger, Wyatt Everett was willing to do anything.

"Third Brother, do you know where Sienna lives now that she’s left the Everett Family? I want to move in next to her, wait on her hand and foot every day, make it up to her, and atone for my sins."

Wyatt Everett, still sitting on the curb, stretched out his long legs, looking utterly speechless. "If I fucking knew where Sienna lived, do you think you’d be the one getting to move in next to her?"

’In your dreams!’

Dustin Everett hung his head, his eyes red. He stared miserably at the ground. "Third Brother, I’m already in a bad mood. Don’t be so harsh on me."

Wyatt Everett: "Get lost! Just thinking about you trying to bully Sienna at the shooting range makes me want to punch you again!" ℯℯ𝘭.

Dustin Everett suddenly looked up. "Third Brother, when you begged our sister for forgiveness, did she hit you?"

Wyatt Everett faltered for a moment, then shook his head. "No. Did Sienna hit you?"

Dustin Everett nodded, his tone boastful. "Sienna kicked me just now. With her own foot! Third Brother, Sienna didn’t hit you... does that mean she’s really given up on you completely? That she can’t even be bothered to hit you?"

Wyatt Everett tensed up. "..."

Dustin Everett threw his arms wide, revealing a shoe print on the stomach of his white T-shirt, and continued to brag, "Look! Sienna kicked this herself. It even left a mark!"

’I’m going to keep this mark forever. I won’t wipe it off, and I won’t wash it out.’

’It’s Sienna’s shoe print, hehe.’

Wyatt Everett was practically dying of jealousy.

’Why did Sienna only hit Dustin and not me?!’

’And this bastard Dustin is showing it off to me! I’m so pissed!’

’It’s over. Why didn’t Sienna hit me back then? Does she really think I’m a lost cause, that she’s completely given up on me?’

’No, I have to go beg Sienna to beat me up, just to put my mind at ease!’

After showing off that he had been personally kicked by his sister, Dustin Everett suddenly remembered something. His expression turned cold and severe as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Seeing him take out his phone, Wyatt Everett asked in confusion, "What are you doing?"

Dustin Everett took out his phone, his expression grim and solemn. "Repentance. Reckoning."

Wyatt Everett didn’t understand.

Repentance?

Reckoning?

Ten minutes later, Wyatt Everett understood what those two words meant.
