Seeing this, the few people keeping watch for Liam Grant and the others didn’t dare to linger. They immediately got into their car and sped toward the cemetery entrance.

"Find a way to lure it to the exit!" Liam ordered.

Lure it to the exit? The people in the car froze for a moment.

Those people from Stellarys were still at the exit. Could it be that Liam wanted to...

"Yes, exactly! The Stellarys people are still there, along with Nina Jacobs. Maybe this zombie will stop chasing us!" Hannah Grant said.

Those people were incredibly strong anyway. It would be fine as long as they lured the creature over to them.

"This... I still have a base rescue gun here. How about we use it to fire a distress flare?" Zachary Barron asked.

"Yeah, at least it would serve as a warning to those Stellarys people. Otherwise..." a Gold Element Superpower User traveling with them trailed off. "It would just be too underhanded."

"No need." Liam looked back. The Wind Zombie was still hot on their heels.

"Why use a flare? They love killing zombies so much. They’ll definitely make a move once they see this Wind Zombie," Hannah chimed in.

The cemetery wasn’t large, and the two vehicles quickly burst out of the gates. The lead car even circled the armored vehicle twice.

However, to their sheer terror, the Wind Zombie completely ignored the other vehicle and only chased after them!

"What in the world is going on out there?" Warren Ramsey couldn’t look away after casting a glance outside.

It was clearly the same Wind Zombie that had been chased by Nina earlier. But now, it was relentlessly pursuing those two cars. What infuriated them the most was that one of the cars had intentionally driven laps around their resting armored vehicle.

"They want us to step in," Chase Gallagher concluded upon seeing this.

A chorus of curses instantly erupted inside the car. Leo Hale even pointed through the glass, shouting profanities at the retreating vehicle, fully aware that the occupants couldn’t hear him.

"What do we do then? Are we going to help?" Jessica Vance asked.

That Intermediate Zombie was quite formidable, having even managed to evade Nina’s pursuit.

"Ignore them. We’re not doing anything."

Nina had already gotten back into the car after the Puppet Zombie made its move earlier. At this moment, she watched the frantically fleeing vehicles with an amused expression.

Liam gritted his teeth, glaring at the rearview mirror. "Damn it."

"Why aren’t they doing anything?" Hannah complained.

Zachary and the others felt completely speechless. It would be a miracle if anyone lent a helping hand after being maliciously used as bait. The Stellarys Team had an incredibly high reputation at the base, but everyone also knew they didn’t just save anyone—especially not people who pulled such unethical stunts to shift agro onto them.

"If we keep circling, it’s going to catch us!" someone yelled.

Seeing the situation, the other car had simply fled back the way they came. Liam had no choice but to give up his scheme, though he still hoped to shake off the Wind Zombie. To his immense frustration, however, the creature seemed fixated on his car. Even when he veered off in a completely different direction, it stayed right on their tail.

"Why is it only chasing us?" Hannah was already trembling with fear as she stared at the rotting zombie face flying after them at breakneck speed.

"Hold on tight." Liam stomped the gas pedal to the floor.

The two vehicles soon vanished from everyone’s line of sight.

Sitting inside the armored vehicle, Nina instructed, "Wayne, drive."

"Drive?" Wayne Abbott had been thoroughly enjoying the show. Did Nina want him to chase after them and kill that Wind Zombie?

"Drive into the cemetery," Nina clarified.

"Are you planning to..." Leo’s eyes widened, followed by a look of sheer excitement. Was Nina planning to use this opportunity to swipe their loot?!

"Since they were so eager to give us such a generous gift, we can’t let them down. What do you think?" Nina asked.

"I think that’s a brilliant idea," Holden Shaw replied. Jessica and the others nodded in agreement, and even Wayne Warner hummed in approval.

"It’s their fault for trying to use us as bait. Besides, it’s not even guaranteed they’ll make it back alive," Alaric Fletcher remarked.

Nina remained silent upon hearing this. The command she had given the Aero-Puppet Zombie was solely to chase, not to kill any of them—Liam included.

So, they would definitely come back.

"Let’s move, then. Step on it," Warren urged.

"Got it!" Wayne Abbott had fully caught on by now and hurriedly started the engine.

In the past, he definitely wouldn’t have driven everyone back into potential danger. But now, his captain was Nina, and he was more than willing to follow her every word.

"Nina, if there really are supplies inside, we need to camouflage the scene after taking them, lest they figure it out later." Ian Chandler clearly had experience with this.

One of the key rules of scavenging unclaimed supplies was to ensure all evidence was wiped clean to avoid leaving behind any leverage that could be used against them.

"Alright, we’ll do as you say." Nina smiled.

"I just wonder where they’d stash the stuff." Yvonne Willow peered out the window at the abandoned cemetery.

Wayne Abbott drove around in a circle, eventually stopping behind a row of buildings at Nina’s direction.

She pointed at one of the walls. "There are scorch marks over there."

"You’re right. I’ll go take a look." Holden opened the car door and appeared beside the wall a split second later.

The wall looked completely ordinary, but upon closer inspection, there really was a stone door set into it. However, the crevices were so fine that one had to be right up against it to notice.

"This building seems to be a temporary storage site for cremation urns. They couldn’t have actually hidden their things here, could they?" Elara Dolan murmured.

"I suspect this space doesn’t connect to the front area," Nina said. She then had Leo join her in using their Superpowers to force the door open.

The lock required a Gold Element Superpower, and there were two more stone slabs sealing the inside. Once the slabs were removed, a passageway was indeed revealed. The group walked down the corridor and found a staircase leading underground ahead of them.

"There really is a hidden world down here. I can’t believe they managed to find a place like this," Warren remarked.

Hiding supplies here was undoubtedly much safer than keeping them back at the base.

The group discovered that the underground space wasn’t small by any means, despite its eerie, gloomy atmosphere. After unlocking two more doors in succession, a massive stockpile of supplies finally appeared before their eyes.

"This... is so much?!" Yvonne exclaimed in shock.

The supplies here were at least equivalent to the inventory of a mid-sized supermarket. Even Ian hadn’t expected the stash to be this massive.

"Ian, Yvonne, you two gather it all up as quickly as possible. We’ll leave as soon as you’re done," Nina ordered.

Yvonne nodded hastily and began rapidly storing away the supplies.

Nina, on the other hand, walked outside alone. Liam seemed reluctant to leave the area and had been driving in continuous circles nearby. This played right into her hands, as she didn’t have to worry about the Little Zombie Rat’s line of sight moving beyond the range of her five-sense Control.

"Liam, you don’t actually think you can shake it off like this, do you? How about we head back to the base first!" Hannah suggested. Aside from the Wind Zombie, they had already attracted quite a trailing horde behind them.

"We finally made it here. How could we just go back?" Liam refused.

However, his intuition told him something was off. No matter how fast or slow he drove, the zombie merely pursued them relentlessly without using any Superpowers to attack.

"It could also be that it’s running low on Superpower energy. We might just have a chance!" Zachary pointed out. This zombie had likely just fought a few rounds with Captain Stella, after all.

"It seems an Intermediate Zombie is nothing more than this." Liam sneered.

After circling past a few more intersections, everyone was utterly astounded to discover that the Wind Zombie had actually vanished!
