Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things
Chapter 524: A Hundred Years Later (Part 2)
Obtaining a planar origin was one thing, but perhaps there were other, even better gains to be had.
Even if there weren’t, it would still be a good thing to witness the landscapes of another Multiverse.
The thirst for adventure in his blood stirred for the first time in a long while.
Taking a deep breath, Pei Ze calmed the surge of emotion within him and turned his attention to the design plans for the Floating City.
The Eye of Omniscience had long since completed its deductions for improving the Floating City, but Pei Ze had been so absorbed in his training that he hadn’t had a chance to examine them closely.
As expected, the overall structure of the improved Floating City was more intricate and complete.
Its energy supply and combat systems had also been enhanced accordingly.
‘The Elemental Melting Furnace’s energy cap has been increased by 45%, and its recovery speed by 76%.’
Pei Ze nodded to himself.
Energy was always the most crucial core component of a Floating City.
Without sufficient energy for its attacks, a Floating City could never unleash its full power, no matter how advanced its combat systems were.
‘The Maze Lock and Magic Energy Crystal Pulse Cannon have been enhanced as well.’
‘And the Arcane Guard and Magic Power Armor.’
Pei Ze focused on the information for these two types of legendary constructs.
The Floating City blueprints he had acquired from Annie originally included manufacturing processes for Arcane Guards and Magic Power Armors that resulted in final products with only sixth-level combat power.
The improved versions of these two legendary constructs, however, would have combat power equivalent to a comprehension level of around 30% in the Rule of Elements.
This was nearly the limit of what could be improved.
Pei Ze was confident that one couldn’t find more powerful Puppet Golems than these two legendary constructs in the entire Star Realm Alliance.
Moreover, with the Eye of Omniscience, it wasn’t impossible to continue improving their combat power. It would just take an extremely long time to deduce, making it not very cost-effective.
He would be better off using that time to have the Eye of Omniscience deduce Rules and increase his own mastery.
As for seventh-level legendary constructs, with Pei Ze’s current power, he wouldn’t be able to deduce a design no matter how much time he spent.
Perhaps once he advanced to become an Eighth-level Wizard, there might be a glimmer of hope.
If he actually succeeded, it would probably cause an uproar throughout the entire Multiverse.
Seventh-level and sixth-level legendary constructs were in completely different leagues.
‘Oh well, the current Arcane Guards and Magic Power Armors are sufficient for now.’
Pei Ze planned to first build five Arcane Guards and five Magic Power Armors.
After all, the manufacturing process for these two legendary constructs was complex and extremely time-consuming. Crucially, the cost of production was also staggering.
Even after the Eye of Omniscience’s optimizations had reduced the cost, a single unit still required about seven to eight million Magic Crystal Stones.
That was enough to build a large Wizard Tower.
One could only say they were worthy of being the Floating City’s ultimate combat units.
Pei Ze reviewed all the materials needed to build the Floating City. The final calculation came to a cost of roughly nine hundred and fifty units of Spatial Rule Origin.
Originally, many of these materials could have been paid for with Magic Crystal Stones.
However, Pei Ze thought for a moment and decided to pay for everything with Space Rule Origin Crystals instead.
After all, it now only took him a little over twenty days to condense a single Space Rule Origin Crystal. Trading one to Annie would easily net him over a million Magic Crystal Stones.
In contrast, manufacturing and selling a Sky-Ringing Golem would take at least three or four months to earn the same amount.
Clearly, the former was more efficient.
‘Nine hundred and fifty Space Rule Origin Crystals… at the fastest, it will take sixty to seventy years to condense them all.’
‘Add in the construction time for the Floating City, and it’ll take about a century.’
Pei Ze let out a long sigh. It looked like he was in for another long period of seclusion.
‘In a hundred years, I’ll begin my cosmic conquest.’
…
「Turin Plane.」
Nearly two hundred years had passed since the war.
Two hundred years of Wizard rule had completely erased this plane’s religious history, replacing it with a burgeoning wizarding trend.
Countless Wizard Academies had sprung up like mushrooms across the land. More and more Turin People took pride in gaining admission to a Wizard Academy and becoming a Wizard Apprentice.
The most elite among them were even specially recruited into the home Wizard Academies in Chenxi City or Red Lotus City.
By now, the Turin Plane had completely become a shared Colonization Plane of Chenxi City and Red Lotus City.
「Winter Frost City.」
The teleportation plaza bustled with people, lights flashing without pause.
Just then, a Teleportation Array in a corner burst with a dazzling light, and a figure emerged from within.
Yin Xue surveyed her surroundings, a nostalgic and emotional expression flashing across her face.
She hadn’t been back in over a hundred years, not since the last time she left the Turin Plane.
The former capital of the Winter Frost Sect Country showed no trace of its past.
After a moment of reflection, Yin Xue took a step forward and vanished. The people bustling around her remained completely oblivious, as if they had seen nothing at all.
She strolled along, observing the local culture and scenery, and before long, she had left Winter Frost City behind.
She cast some Magic and shot into the sky. After a brief pause, she sped off in a specific direction.
After crossing vibrant prairies, lakes, and canyons, Yin Xue finally entered a vast, boundless desert.
Aided by an Eagle Eye spell, the young woman could already see a black dot in the far distance.
That was the destination of her journey.
At the thought of soon seeing the person she longed for day and night, a smile bloomed on Yin Xue’s face, and she subconsciously increased her speed.
But just then, her expression shifted, and she glanced down.
As her gaze followed, the ground below suddenly erupted. Sand and dirt flew everywhere as a creature resembling an earth dragon burst out, slamming onto the ground with a BOOM and kicking up another massive cloud of dust.
When the dust settled, the earth dragon let out a HISS. The thick shell on its back opened to either side, revealing two figures within.
They were two women of incomparable beauty.
The slightly older of the two had a pair of beautiful, blood-red eyes.
“Annie, we could have just teleported directly. Why did we have to ride this Earth Drilling Beast? It’s not comfortable at all!”
Gu Lin complained to the woman behind her.
But she immediately sensed someone nearby and looked up instinctively, her eyes meeting Yin Xue’s.
“It’s you.”
The two spoke almost simultaneously, then their expressions turned strange.
“What’s this? Run into an acquaintance?” Annie said leisurely.
Yin Xue snapped back to reality and glanced at Annie, her gaze shifting slightly.
She had heard from Pei Ze long ago that Gu Lin had earned the favor of a Vampire Rule Wizard and had been traveling with her.
Judging by those crimson eyes, this woman was clearly that Vampire Wizard.
“Lady Annie, a pleasure to meet you. My name is Yin Xue. I’m Gu Lin’s… schoolmate.”
Unexpectedly, after Yin Xue’s introduction, Annie’s eyes brightened. She glanced at Gu Lin and, for some reason, broke into a knowing smile.
“So, you’re Yin Xue.”
Her reaction left Yin Xue a little confused.
‘Could it be that Gu Lin mentioned me to Annie before?’
Gu Lin’s face flushed slightly. She glared at Annie, silently mouthing the words “shut up” before turning to Yin Xue.
“It’s been a long time, Senior Yin Xue. What are you doing here?”
Yin Xue’s eyes flickered, and she gave a faint smile. “I imagine we’re here for the same reason.”
Gu Lin started, then her expression cleared with understanding. She fell silent and didn’t ask any more questions.
Annie looked at her, then back at Yin Xue. The corners of her lips curled up, and she suddenly said, “In that case, why don’t we travel together?”
Yin Xue hesitated for a moment before giving a slight nod.
“Then I’ll be in your care.”
Gu Lin finally snapped out of it and shot Annie an irritated glare.
Having known the Vampire Wizard for so long, Gu Lin was well aware of her mischievous personality and how much she loved to stir the pot. It wasn’t hard to guess what she was planning.
But things had already come to this, so Gu Lin couldn’t say anything and just had to accept it.
As Yin Xue landed on the back of the Earth Drilling Beast, the three of them set off once more.
They made small talk along the way until the massive silhouette of a city appeared on the horizon. The three of them fell silent, their gazes simultaneously fixed on the distance.
As they drew closer, a magnificent city gradually came into view.
