Chapter 1721: Part 2: Advancement of Sealing Rune Power

Seeing the result of the new sealing power, my mouth curved into an arc. But I still thought there was room for improvement.

Time went by.

I moved towards the next creature and started testing out the new sealing power. I tried to find inspiration, but it didn’t appear like the previous time.

So, I continued to observe the working of the sealing power once it sealed the creature in the void.

On the other hand, the foreign creatures were confused. They didn’t know what the human was doing.

It could not believe that the young man was treating the whole place as a training ground. It was supposed to be a deadly battlefield.

The council elders were experiencing shock again. They were worried that Zack Lockwood might not be able to handle the 200 human-faced creatures.

It had been an hour, but there was no sign that Zack Lockwood had been defeated.

He continued to fight against the foreign creatures inside the main battlefield.

Council Elder Freya and the others were monitoring the passage and trying to sense what was happening inside the main battlefield.

They didn’t try to physically watch what was happening inside. If they broke the rules, then the foreign creatures’ side would break the rules as well.

They could only sense what was happening inside. They could tell that Zack Lockwood was doing well, but it was not a one-sided fight.

Zack Lockwood was taking his time as well.

Time went by.

The council elders were waiting with bated breath. Council Elder Freya was deeply worried. She didn’t know what would happen if Zack Lockwood ran out of inheritance power.

She knew that even if Zack Lockwood had more than one ancient inheritance, it would only be a matter of time before his power ran out.

No one contacted their forces back in the Tier-4 region. Everyone’s information was kept secret. The other universities in the Tier-4 region were trying to contact them, but they failed to establish contact.

The Red Mark Warriors in the city were still discussing the battle. The media houses were also having discussions about it.

It had been several hours since the battle started. They didn’t know whether Zack Lockwood was going to win or not.

The warriors, Blake, Kate, and their friends, had returned from their training session. They were also thinking about the main battlefield.

The whole city was thinking about the main battlefield, and they were no different.

"This kid is growing stronger. If not for his strength, the elders wouldn’t have agreed to let him enter the battlefield," Blake said to them.

"He created a record in the night cell tower. He can do it on the main battlefield. I have this feeling that he has never fought seriously before," Kate commented.

Hearing that, her friends were taken aback.

"How can you say that?" one of her friends asked.

The others turned toward Kate. Blake turned toward her as well. He didn’t know what made her think like that.

Kate’s eyes flashed with a gleam.

"Have you guys ever heard of Zack Lockwood getting injured and admitted to the medical center?" she asked.

Gasp!

A small exclamation rang out. They hadn’t thought of this before. Now that she said it, they began to realize it was true.

Shortly after,

"You are right. We have never heard of him getting injured before," Blake said.

His eyes grew serious. He had been admitted to the medical center more than once. It was all about survival on the main battlefield.

It was already a victory if they managed to escape unscathed. The whole group became silent. It was a depressing thought for them.

If something bad happened to Zack Lockwood, they would be the ones fighting next.

Main Battlefield

Time went by.

I found inspiration once again. The dark hue surrounding the sealing rune in my mind became deeper.

I discovered that the sealing force made their vitality disappear into the void. It faded into nothingness and vanished.

It was as if the void itself sucked the life out of the elite creatures. This discovery made my understanding even stronger.

As a result, the power of the sealing force increased. The human-faced creatures started dying in less than a couple of seconds.

The void sucked the vitality from the creatures much faster. The number of human-faced creatures was reduced to less than 50 in the main battlefield.

At one point, the ancient spirit became silent.

It was understood that Zack Lockwood had reached the limit of the sealing force in the Red Mark Rank.

The sealing force rune had started to gain the power of a Quasi-God. The dense dark hue with a dull golden shield was a sign of it. The darkness was the void; it was the stripping of vitality.

Meanwhile, I continued to run the sealing force method while fighting against the human-faced creatures.

Only a few of them remained in the main battlefield. I had never expected to improve while in the main battlefield.

Now, my sealing force rune has become stronger than my other inheritance runes.
