The vine grew with incredible speed, soon reaching the green snake’s side.

Then, a vibrant bud sprouted from the vine’s tip. As the bud bloomed, a Cannibal Flower appeared. Catching the green snake off guard, the Cannibal Flower clamped down on its head. Then, as if eating a jerky stick, it devoured the rest of the snake’s body little by little.

Throughout the process, the green snake struggled violently. However, its struggles were nothing to the Cannibal Flower—not even enough to be considered an itch.

Although the green snake was dealt with, Perry Yates couldn’t get back to sleep. After all, even though the snake was gone, who knew what else might show up?
