Lei Qian turned to look at his grandfather with a frown on his face. "What happened, grandfather?" He never expected his grandfather to stop him and could not help but feel a little frustrated. What did his grandfather mean by this? Why was he stopping him from sending his grandmother away?

"At least hear what happened with your grandmother before making a decision," said Old Master Lei. he walked over and looked at Lei Qian with a troubled look on his face. "Your grandmother is still my wife, and now that she is in trouble, how can I leave her alone? Let’s talk with her first and hear what she has gone through."

"Grandfather, you are speaking utter nonsense. How can you trust Grandmother? I am sure that she is here to cause trouble. Do you really want to talk with her? Lei Qian was upset when he heard his grandfather say that he wanted to talk with Old Madam Lei. What did he even want to talk to her about? She had abandoned their grandfather when he was at his weakest!

Old Master Lei climbed down the stairs and glanced at Lei Qian lightly. "Your grandmother is old, and she has been abandoned by your uncle. Do you really want to leave her alone in the world like this? I am afraid that she would not be able to survive even a day outside. When Old Master Lei heard that his second son had done such a thing, he could not help but frown. "What woman? What happened?"

"He met with an ability user who took a fancy to his face," wept Second Aunt Lei from the side. She wiped her tears with her hands roughly and said in a low voice, "He was quite happy when he saw that someone as strong as she was willing to show him some mercy and had taken a liking to him. So when she asked him to leave with her, he did not even look at us. Instead, he abandoned us without even glancing at us. It is quite clear that he never wanted to stay with us and was only thinking about how to get better. He even took such a shameless path to eat three meals a day. What is the difference between this and selling his own skin?"

The more Old Master Lei heard, the more he could not help but frown in disgust. "Second son did such a thing?"
