Chapter 1886 - 1008: Clear Out the Surrounding Zombies!

According to the second step of their original plan, it was to clean up the surrounding zombies.

Although the Zombie Attraction Potion was also brought, Li Yu did not intend to use it.

The power of this thing is too strong, once the lid is opened, the potion floats with the wind, and it may attract nuclear radiation zombies from tens to hundreds of kilometers around.

The attraction of the Zombie Attraction Potion to zombies is extremely strong, and it is not used easily unless at the most dangerous times.

Even if it means using guns and cannons to deal with these zombies, it would be better.

The sound of guns and cannons can probably spread within a few kilometers, and with the surrounding forests and the obstruction of trees, the distance it can spread is even more limited.

ZZZZZ——

At this moment, the voice of Third Uncle came from the walkie-talkie on Li Yu’s waist:

"Xiao Yu, are you ready there? I’m about to start clearing the zombies here."

Li Yu turned his head towards the iron gate, where the zombies inside the building were still hitting the iron gate, but due to a few tons of water tanks blocking, the zombies inside couldn’t get out.

So, he quickly picked up the walkie-talkie and replied, "All set, start now."

After hearing Li Yu’s response, Third Uncle said to Old Qin: "Raise the helicopter."

Then he said to Ant: "Get the bombs ready to blow these zombies away!"

Buzz buzz——

The helicopter quickly climbed up to a height of a hundred meters and hovered in the air.

Meanwhile, Ant and Third Uncle unfastened their seatbelts, opened the cabin door, and the high-altitude wind blew fiercely, causing the cloth strips inside the airfield to flutter.

Third Uncle and Ant grabbed a seat or a handrail inside the cabin with one hand to stabilize themselves.

"Old Qin, stabilize it!" Third Uncle shouted to Old Qin.

Old Qin exerted all his strength to stabilize the helicopter.

The other people in the helicopter quickly handed the bomb to Third Uncle, who took it while Ant helped pull the safety pin.

Izzy izzy izzy——

The bomb started to emit white smoke, and Third Uncle promptly threw it towards the horde of zombies below.

The bomb continued to emit white smoke as it fell.

Two seconds later, it fell on the heads of the nuclear radiation zombies, who frantically scrambled for the bomb.

But two seconds after...

A huge explosion sounded.

BOOM!

The zombie horde exploded outward from the center, severed limbs flew everywhere.

Smoke was everywhere.

After more than ten seconds, they looked down.

A circular arc was formed centering on where the bomb fell, with a small pit blown open in the center, and zombie limbs scattered like a flower.

Even the surrounding shrubs were blown to bits.

This round directly wiped out a quarter of the zombies.

Third Uncle didn’t immediately drop another bomb because scattering the zombies lessens the effect; the more concentrated they are, the higher the bomb’s destructive power.

These nuclear radiation zombies below, like normal zombies, would eat the corpses of their kind.

The previous explosion killed many zombies, and the surviving ones viciously rushed to the severed limbs to feed.

Third Uncle patiently waited for the zombies below to gather.

A minute later, Third Uncle saw below that the zombies gathered into a mass, seemingly fighting over a relatively complete corpse of their kind.

"Again!" Third Uncle shouted to the team members behind him.

The team member quickly handed another bomb to Third Uncle, who took it while Ant repeated the previous operation.

Third Uncle observed the wind direction and didn’t throw it straight down but adjusted the position slightly.

Calculating wind direction and adjusting for deviations in the falling position caused by the wind.

Woosh woosh——

This time the bomb precisely landed in the densest part of the zombie horde.

A few seconds later.

Another explosion occurred.

Once again, it took out a good portion of the zombies.

Third Uncle threw two more bombs, killing the majority of these hundreds of zombies below.

Only a dozen or so were left scattered in the bushes, not needing bombs, as it would be somewhat wasteful.

The solar radiation was strong, and the Heavenly Stems were dry, with many of these bushes already dried and dead, extremely flammable under high temperature.

After several explosions, the bushes caught fire and showed signs of spreading fiercely.

Thick smoke rolled and drifted up into the air.

Third Uncle glanced at the ground fire and shouted to Old Qin: "Head to the rooftop!"

Vroom vroom vroom——

Old Qin immediately piloted the helicopter towards the rooftop.

A rooftop a few hundred meters away from them.

Li Yu saw Third Uncle and the others coming and breathed a sigh of relief, then took out a sniper rifle from the helicopter.

Lying on the edge of the rooftop, he sniped at the remaining dozen zombies in the bushes.

They couldn’t leave for a while, the apocalypse had been ongoing for so long, if they were lucky, they might find a helicopter, but most of these helicopters likely had some issues.

So, Li Yu brought along the helicopter repair personnel this time, just to repair the helicopter.

Since they couldn’t leave for a while, they needed to clean up the surrounding zombies as much as possible.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Li Yu continued to snipe at the zombies, with Li Gang and Yang Tianlong, who had rested for a bit, coming over to help.

Buzz buzz buzz——

Old Qin piloted the helicopter and landed on the rooftop, parking next to the one Li Yu and the others were on.

Step step.

Third Uncle and the others got off the helicopter.

With a couple of well-executed movements, they took care of the zombies in the bushes.

The flames in the bushes burned stronger, even spreading to the forest area.
