Just as the Governor was enthusiastically smashing, he suddenly felt something and quickly looked forward.

Yang Tian let out a roar, his whole body surged with blood, completely ignoring the barely alive Night General, and ran in large strides towards that direction.

The zombie horde was driven, letting out terrifying screams, following the Governor’s footsteps, willing to be crushed into flesh without complaint.

The original order was disrupted, and chaos ensued. A Tier Two Hunter stepped onto the ruins where the Night General was, without even realizing it, a large hand grabbed it, a few claws wildly ripping, and the Tier Two Zombie’s hard body was torn into pieces and pulled in.

Then came the ghastly sound of chewing.

After finishing the Tier Two Zombie, the miserable Night General crawled out from under the ruins, sprinting towards the direction the Governor left.

While running, he randomly devoured Low-tier Zombies, and the horrifying wounds on his body gradually healed.

His momentum restored to its peak.

Fifteen kilometers away, in a suburban villa.

A man wearing a scarlet leather jacket was feeding a giant beast with a big bowl of meat. The beast was round, its fur shiny, its huge incisors gleaming with metallic luster, small eyes revealing a clumsy demeanor.

It was a magnified version of a groundhog.

“Eat, Big Tooth, Second Tooth is on watch for you.”

The groundhog pushed away the meat placed near its mouth by the man with its small paws, alertly looking in that direction.

The man looked far away with the bowl in his arms, hearing faint sounds of fighting coming, cursing lowly, “Fighting again? These beasts are really full of energy…”

Just as the man was about to enter the house, he suddenly turned his head back, his eyebrows furrowing into a frown.

Feeling that intense aura, his face turned extremely gloomy.

“Could it be that thing has come out?”

“Hiss-hah!”

A piercing beast roar came from the villa’s balcony.

A completely blue big cat was sitting on the balcony, cautiously staring in the direction of the aura, then turned to look at the man below.

The man’s eyelids flickered, “You want to go take a look?”

The big cat’s gaze was firm.

The man hesitated for a moment, then nodded, “Can’t run away anyway, let’s go and see who or what it is.”

With a leap, he mounted the big cat.

“Big Tooth, watch the house, if anything happens, hide with Second Tooth and the others.”

The sound of the advice dispersed, and the man and the cat had completely disappeared.

…

The ground, a blue stream of light traversing the wilderness, whether it be a panicked beast group or mutated plants, couldn’t even catch its shadow, only feeling a breeze pass by.

Intricate patterns appeared on the big cat’s fur, like a shield, concealing the aura of both.

The dozens of kilometers shrunk to a few meters under the paws of this Tier Four big cat, arriving at the city’s edge in moments.

The big cat didn’t approach directly but stopped leisurely around, step by step moving towards the direction of the aura.

The soft paws, even stepping on mutated plants, didn’t cause any reaction.

The man held onto the fur on both sides of the big cat, making no sound.

Round a building, the distant scene fell into the view of both, their pupils simultaneously shrinking.

At the edge of the High-temperature Zone, those troublesome beings unexpectedly gathered together.

Among those he interacted with, there were more than three Tier Four, and more dangerous auras heading here.

A horned woman was contending with a Tier Four Governor, both fighting intensely, yet in his perception seemed insignificant.

All Tier Four Life Forms, upon arrival, focus their attention on the sky.

There stood a man, in nearly Googles’ fahrenheit high temperature, wearing a long coat, its collar with the letter “Su”, long hair tied into a ponytail with a bracelet, narrowed yet deep eyes now watching the battle below with interest.

Beside him, floated three stones and a strangely dressed man.

“Tier Three, Tier Four…”

The man in the leather jacket quickly assessed Ma Hongyu and Ah Duo’s combat strength, in his view, among the strongest humans, but the long-haired, narrow-eyed man alone he couldn’t fathom or understand.

In the instant of his confusion, that person turned, smiling at him, a clear voice reaching his ear.

“Want to chat?”

Man and cat simultaneously bristled, his eyelid furiously twitching, resisting the urge to turn and flee, asking, “Who are you?”

The question was silly, but it was the only thing he wanted to know at that moment.

“Su Huan.”

“Su Huan?” The man’s eyes showed contemplation, then suddenly widened, “Are you that conductor?”

“Oh, you know me?”

With a word, Su Huan had appeared right in front, smilingly asking.

The man was startled, a fresh red pattern spreading from his mouth and nose across his face and then his entire body, primitive aura mixed with scorching burst forth, yet he didn’t attack, instead grabbing the big cat’s scruff.

“Meow~”

Accompanied by a feeble cat’s call, the gathered wind blades instantly dissipated.

The man cautioned, “Someone told me, but I didn’t expect you to be so strong.”

Su Huan glanced up and down at the man and the big cat, genuinely said, “You’re not bad either; three years ago, I might not have been able to beat you.”

The man’s mouth twitched; as rumored, he indeed was an arrogant figure.

Seeing Su Huan bore no hostility, he kindly warned, “There are many dangerous beings deep in the High-temperature Zone, even though your companions are skilled, if something wakes up, none of us will be able to handle it.”

Su Huan, surprised.

“I thought you were the Dominator of the High-temperature Zone.”

The man, awkward, his scalp tingling, “Dominator my ass, the High-temperature Zone is bigger than several other zones combined, more than a few can chase me into panic, you can call me Hundred Beasts.”

Su Huan’s dark eyes brightened; it had been a while since he found a worthy opponent.

Finding the right person, he lost interest in the cricket-like fight, the opponent’s puzzled look while extending a palm, snapping with a crisp sound.

The Governor, battling fiercely with Ah Duo, suddenly froze and then inexplicably collapsed.

His fall, like a domino effect, caused a chain reaction, the vast zombie horde began collapsing, without explosions, without fire, only grand yet silent death, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, spreading endlessly.

The pitch-black Night General suddenly appeared on a building next to them, then fell to the ground.

This scene made Hundred Beasts’ pupils shrink to the extreme, even Ah Duo, who had seen this before, felt his heart surge.

Even dignified Tier Four Life Forms didn’t have time to awaken the Rule Power before being harvested like wild grass.

Su Huan lightly raised a hand, a total of four Tier Four corpses were picked up by an invisible hand and thrown beside Hundred Beasts.

The terrifying aura continued emanating from the mountain-like bodies as if still alive.

Su Huan faced Hundred Beasts’ heavy gaze warmly, saying, “I want to exchange these corpses for something from you.”

Hundred Beasts licked his dry lips, the Rule Power was already pushed to the limit, terrifying sounds like flames bursting echoed around, the air almost shattering.

“What is it?”

Su Huan beckoned again, and the Storm, Life, and Wisdom stones flew over.

“It’s this sort of stone.”

Hundred Beasts froze for a moment, looking at the stones, quickly noticing its intricacies.

“So singular a rule…”

Su Huan remained silent, patiently waiting for his response.

Time passed by, moment by moment, Hundred Beasts raised his head, frankly said, “I don’t have such stones, but I know where you can find them! I can take you there!”

Su Huan, calmly stated, “These four corpses are yours now.”

Hundred Beasts shook his head, “I don’t accept gifts without merit, I’ll only take one.”

Su Huan’s brows unfolded, with some seriousness extending a hand.

“You’ve gained my friendship.”
