Ascension Of The Blood Supreme

Chapter 210. Arriving in Sauna City University.

Western Continent.

Iron Empire.

Waldhar State.

Sauna City.

Oakhaven Port.

The evening light spread across the place. The twin moons above illuminated their light on all beneath.

Cranes lifted objects from ships. People in some uniforms walked across the place, busy inspecting goods and checking plates attached to some imported products. Security personnel were doing security checks all across the place.

A large ship the size of several story buildings rested on the water at the port.

Several people stepped out of the ship and walked towards various locations. Some carried luggages. Others didn’t. They had everything they carried in storage bags.

At the moment, two women walked by the side of a young man with black hair and blue eyes. The young man was in casual t-shirts, jeans and sneakers.

Compared to the two women with extremely refined demeanors, wearing jackets with the insignia of Sauna City University on it, with professorship badges on their chests, he looked very ordinary.

Trailing behind them were a group of students from Sauna City University. The group had already left the ship, and were currently walking towards two separate transports arranged to send them back to campus.

Occasionally, several people would steal glances at the professors and nod towards them with respect. Even the students received looks of acknowledgement.

The one everyone who looked at the professors talked more about, was the ordinary looking man the professors were escorting with polite expressions and demeanors.

Clearly, he was not ordinary. For two academicians to defer to him like that, he was most likely a mysterious expert.

"Senior Turner, we are very sorry for the delay and the inconvenience. Our transport was supposed to arrive moments before our arrival," Anly said.

"No problem. Take your time," Aiden replied.

Suddenly, two vehicles pulled to a stop before them.

"You guys take that one to campus," Genevieve turned to the students.

"Yes, ma’am," the students replied.

Quickly, they entered the vehicle assigned to transport them to campus. After that, their car took off.

"Senior please..." Genevieve gestured to Senior Turner to enter the vehicle.

Aiden nodded. He preferred the backseat. He sat in the back. Genevieve sat at the front and Anly joined him at the back.

The driver greeted them respectfully. After that, he drove off.

Throughout the journey, Anly and Genevieve didn’t disturb the senior’s privacy.

Aiden texted Desmonda and informed her that he had arrived in the Western continent with his anonymous number. After they exchanged a few words, they said goodbye to each other.

Desmonda and the others were currently on the cultivation mountain she mentioned they would be training on in the Eldorath Empire Capital.

Aiden put his phone in his pocket. He rested his elbow on the window sill. He looked through the windows.

Currently, the vehicle had left the port completely. The car was driving through an estate locality.

Several shops and restaurants were open. People were walking through the streets, either in groups or alone. Somewhere, someone was jogging with earpieces in their ear. A little girl could be seen petting a dog by a bench on the sidewalk.

The city looked like any ordinary city, as people went about their normal business and lived their lives.

The streets blurred behind the vehicle.

Several skyscrapers eventually appeared. Large screens displayed ads. Car horns blared in the distance. Neon lights flickered across the place.

"We are currently at the eastern district of Sauna City sir, this is where Sauna City University is located," Anly said. "Just a few more turns and we will arrive on campus."

Aiden simply nodded. "Alright."

The car turned a few times and moved through a particular street. Ahead, the entrance of Sauna City University came into view.

Several vehicles entered through the entrance, some heading into the university and some heading out of the university. The vehicle entered through the gates into campus.

Aiden looked around as the car streamed through the streets.

At some places, students could be seen chatting, moving in groups or walking alone.

Somewhere, a young man was firmly clutching the hand of a young woman. He whispered something into the ears of the lady. The lady blushed, turned and poked him on the chest.

At another place, lightning flickered across the figure of a student as she descended from the skies and landed on campus grounds. After that, the lightning surrounding her figure disappeared and she walked into the crowd.

"Clearly students and staff members can’t just engage in meaningless brawls in the streets," Aiden thought. So far, he had not encountered any altercation between people from his observation.

"There must be arenas for duels and life or death battles. And the training methods of the university must be similar to that of Derulo City University. After all, all warrior universities are established by the Global Academic Federation"

Lamps lighted the streets and walkways, casting shadows across the ground.

Skyscrapers came into view. There were also magnificent story buildings and villas boasting opulence.

"Sir, the department of combat is ahead," Genevieve said as she looked through the rearview mirror. "However, because today is a weekend, and it’s in the evening, the department is closed. How about you rest in the villa the university was planning on assigning to you, and then we can visit the department of combat for registration tomorrow morning and then we can introduce you to the rest of the staff?"

"Sounds good," Aiden replied politely.

"Alright senior," Genevieve said. She turned to the driver. "Turn right and head towards the professorship residential area please."

"Yes ma’am," the driver replied.

The car branched off the street headed to the department of combat and headed towards another direction. It was headed towards the professor’s residential area.

The driver looked through the rearview mirror curiously. He was honestly shocked.

Whoever the man at the backseat was, he was not ordinary. The way professor Anly and professor Genevieve were being polite to him, and calling him senior, left him extremely shocked.

What was extremely terrifying was the fact that the man wore plain ordinary clothes and looked nothing like a powerhouse. He looked like a regular person.

He sighed. One should never judge a book by its cover. He kept driving.

The trees blurred behind, and the comfortable silence in the car continued.

No one knew the uproar the young man seated at the backseat of the car, quietly looking through the windows and enjoying the scenery, would bring to the western continent, and to Endra.
