Chapter 211. Geopolitical nature of the Western Continent

The car pulled to a stop before a villa.

Aiden and the two professors stepped out.

Several buildings were strewn across the place. They were all villas of varying magnificence.

The driver waited. Clearly, he was waiting for Anly and Genevieve to finish their business with the mysterious powerhouse, after which he would leave the place with them.

" Sir, this is your villa" Anly said.

Aiden looked at the building. It was not bad. It was much larger than any villa he had lived in.

His eyes turned crimson as he used his enhanced sight to scan the building.

The interior was very large with several rooms, a large kitchen, and a very large hall. Each room had its own television and washroom. The washrooms also had televisions in them.

There was even a large library in the villa.

There was also a very large training hall located in the far end of the building. Behind the training hall was a very large garden. In the center of the garden, there was a fountain.

Aiden’s gaze peered ahead of the villa. Beyond the villa was the beach of Sauna City.

Several individuals were chilling at the beach.

"It’s quite to my liking" Aiden thought. This place was very serene. When he wasn’t on a mission, or in a danger zone getting stronger, he could take some time off to relax.

He turned to the two professors.

"This place is really to my liking. Thank you both"

Anly and Genevieve were very happy. They had managed to get in the good books of this senior.

" You are welcome sir"

" Pleasure is ours. We will be near at eight tomorrow morning to escort you to the Combat Department to get you registered and introduce you to the rest of the staff"

" Alright" Aiden nodded politely.

" Then, we will excuse ourselves," Anly said.

Aiden nodded. The two professors entered the car under the dumbstruck look of the driver who could not help being shocked at the demeanors of the professors around this mysterious powerhouse with each passing second.

He shook his head and entered the vehicle, then drove off.

As for Aiden, he entered the villa.

His crimson eyes had turned blue again.

The place was well furnished. He chose a room he would be staying in. After taking a shower and changing into a pair of shorts and a t shirt, he sat down in a couch.

" I need to at least get a brief overview of the western continent"

Aiden quickly headed to the library in the villa.

He grabbed a laptop in the library and started doing some research on the Western continent.

The Western Continent, as the name implies, was located at the western part of Endra.

It was the largest continent of Endra, twice the size of the Southern continent, thrice the size of the northern continent and four times the size of the eastern continent.

Naturally, it had more empires and chaotic beast populations,compared to the other continents.

The gate incidents here were also numerous compared to the other continents of Endra.

The terrorist activities of the Paranormal Liberation Order were more centralized here.

Most importantly, this was where the general headquarters of the International Union was.

The International Union had a headquarters in each continent. For instance, one of the headquarters was the one located in the tropical oceans of the northern continent.

Recently, that was where the rank 4 inauguration of Vandeport and Ashbourne Cane took place.

But the one in the Western Continent was the general headquarters.

The western continent was also where the general headquarters of the Global Guild Union, The Global Academic Federation, The Global Artifact Engineers Association, The Global Alchemist Association and The Global Warriors Association, were.

Aiden deduced that the headquarters of these organisations were stationed here by the International Union, so that they could keep them in check properly.

The Western Continent also had the largest number of guilds, and universities across Endra.

There were also freelance warriors who had established reclusive sects across the western continent.

Of course, these reclusive sects were not exempt from the rules of the world.

Occasionally, their members went through the university system and the two year military service system across Endra. But, their members usually returned to the sects to serve the sects after their military service was over.

These reclusive sects were also important because they were responsible for dealing with chaotic beast tides and gate/pocket world incidents in places extremely far from the supervision of the powers.

" It looks like the Western Continent is literally livelier than the other continents. All the major powers have their headquarters gathered here.

There are a lot of chaotic beast tides and gate incidents too. This will be good for me. I can take advantage of that to grow stronger quickly.

Time to read about the Iron Empire" Aiden thought.

Since he was currently in the Iron Empire, it was only natural that he familiarised himself with how things worked here.

" So the Iron Empire was established 400 years ago by Iron Valman. He died and passed on his rule to his descendants, just like the other powers.

Naturally, they operate just like the other empires and the system is like the other empires across Endra.

The situation is also similar to other empires. The balance of power is not just controlled by the empire here.

The Warriors Association, the Artifact Engineers Association and the other powers have a large stake in power balance. The empires just can’t throw their weight around. Disagreements occur, but no one can afford going to war unless absolutely necessary. If conflicts reach a point where the safety of a continent is threatened, the International Union steps in. This ensures a delicate balance of power in the empire. It seems my position as a professor is not that ordinary, considering the prestige Sauna City University has in the Iron Empire"

Aiden thought.

He had learnt enough.

It was time to head to bed. His journey in the western continent would begin tomorrow.
