Watching the puffed-up Zhao Guangran storming in from outside, Gong Ruini was truly frightened.

What was going on? It was very rare to see him get so angry like this.

Clearly, this guy kept saying he had gained some status and absolutely needed to restrain his temper.

Why did he suddenly explode today? What’s happening?

Gong Ruini looked toward Gong Ruzhi, hoping he could provide an answer.

Gong Ruzhi shook his head at him. How would he know what was happening? He was thinking perhaps Aunt Zhan saw Brother Guangran and harshly criticized him.

Taking a closer look, wait a minute, obviously, when Zhao Guangran went out earlier, he wore a very flashy shirt, claiming it was a limited edition.

Gong Ruzhi remembered it clearly because this brother didn’t let him touch it.

If he cherished that shirt so much, why did it disappear after just one outing?

Gong Ruzhi immediately understood; it was all about that shirt.

Gong Ruzhi whispered the explanation to Gong Ruini.

Gong Ruini was shocked, wondering if it was really necessary to get so furious over a shirt.

Not letting him touch it was one thing, but to blow up after something happened to the shirt?

Gong Ruini just wanted to say, "Zhao Guangran, how could your perspective become so narrow?"

But seeing Zhao Guangran so angry, Gong Ruini had to swallow those words.

"Brother Guangran, where’s your shirt?" Once again, Gong Ruzhi showed his bear-like child behavior with his question.

Finally, someone cared about the issue. Zhao Guangran was somewhat timid, feeling that after causing such a commotion, no one was responding to him.

How could he persist? It was truly lonely.

Thankfully, but starting with such an infuriating question really annoyed him.

"The shirt was ruined."

Well, actually, that didn’t need to be said. Gong Ruzhi expressed his desire to know exactly how the shirt got ruined.

"It was my brother." Zhao Guangran definitely wouldn’t disappoint Gong Ruzhi, immediately dropping a bombshell.

Ah, Gong Ruzhi’s mouth opened wide, "No way, brother-in-law?"

"Oh my god, brother-in-law is so cool." Hahaha, Gong Ruzhi was so happy, remember how this kid showed off and wouldn’t let him touch the shirt.

Now look at this, neither letting people touch nor letting him wear it, see how he shows off.

Limited edition or not, wait, that was a limited edition — meaning once that shirt is gone, it’s truly gone.

Gong Ruzhi was incredibly excited, just not in a typical way.

Kid, don’t expect sympathy from Gong Ruzhi; he’s always around to annoy you.

Luckily, he wasn’t counting on the kid, turning his gaze to Gong Ruini, "Ni Zi — no, sister-in-law."

Gong Ruini didn’t know the shirt’s background, but from Gong Ruzhi’s excited expression, she could tell there was definitely a story behind the shirt.

Since the shirt had a story, Gong Ruini didn’t want to get involved, especially knowing Zhao Xuran was related to its destruction, she was even more reluctant to get involved.

"Well, I’m tired." Gong Ruini yawned and didn’t hesitate to get up and head for the bedroom.

Anyway, since she wasn’t alone now, why worry about Zhao Guangran’s discontent? Gong Ruini wasn’t worried he would stop her.

Gong Ruzhi watched his sister walk away, as for Zhao Guangran’s expressions, despite the viewing angle, his mood was definitely bad.

Zhao Guangran dared not take action, but he really wasn’t concerned, "Sister-in-law, do you know why we went out?"

Out of disbelief that this news wouldn’t get Gong Ruini curious to stay and find out.

Why go out? Gong Ruini wondered, "Wasn’t it to buy groceries?"

In the ice and snow, who wants to go out? Initially, Zhao Guangran considered earning some ticket money, but looking at the US stock market, he lost interest.

He simply took a rest since due to the weather, once Zhao Guangran and company returned, they largely stayed home, only venturing out to shop.

"No." Zhao Guangran shook his head with a smile, indicating Gong Ruini guessed wrong.

Nope, Gong Ruini kept heading to the bedroom without interest in guessing, thinking it was a mentally taxing task.

Not curious? Zhao Guangran was surprised; did pregnancy change a person? Ni Zi used to love listening to gossip!

Gong Ruini was curious but didn’t want to gratify Zhao Guangran’s mischievous taste since Zhao Xuran was also out, she’d simply ask him later.

Gong Ruini’s uncooperative attitude left Zhao Guangran helpless, "My mom came."

What, Zhan Jing came? Gong Ruini was dumbfounded, "Impossible."

If she were coming, there’d be some wind of notice, and it wouldn’t be just her visiting.

Even more importantly, it’s year-end, nearing Chinese New Year, dealing with profits, holiday arrangements for the factory, and customer relations.

Overall, year-end is the busiest time. Zhan Jing being busy at home, how could she come to the United States?

Gong Ruini gets on the phone with home every few days, partly to hear her parents’ voices and also to keep them updated on her situation.

Just a few days ago she was on the phone with Zhan Jing, so how could she suddenly be in the United States now?

Without prior arrangements, Gong Ruini was in absolute disbelief.

Gong Ruini indicated stopping was a foolish thing to do, knowing well Zhao Guangran was unreliable, why waste time on him?

"It’s really my mom coming." Zhao Guangran was angered as she looked at him with disdain.

He admitted he joked occasionally but most of the time, he was absolutely reliable.

No time to linger here, heaven knows when his brother would come up, "Ni Zi, do you know, my brother got a bit emotional seeing Mom."

Zhao Xuran getting emotional seeing Zhan Jing isn’t that simple?

"My brother cried." It’s true, people today have no patience; why not listen to him finish speaking?

"Brother-in-law cried?" Before Gong Ruini could respond, Gong Ruzhi couldn’t help himself.

"Brother Guangran, please, in future speak more reasonably; you really talk without thinking. How could my brother-in-law cry over this?" He might get emotional seeing mom, but crying requires more difficulty.

Oh, how could they all doubt him? Zhao Guangran was so annoyed he gritted his teeth, "Hey, I wouldn’t lie."

"Why would you lie?" Zhao Xuran opened the door, not yet entered, heard the brother speaking out loud, and was baffled.

This guy ran quickly after getting off the car, and when Zhao Guangran reached the house seeing no one there, how could Zhao Xuran not understand?

But Zhao Xuran himself wasn’t rushed; knowing Guangran would show off a little, his guess turned out accurate.

Although they’ve been here since morning, they hadn’t yet gotten to the main point, or just barely got there, leaving Zhao Xuran unsure how to address Guangran.
