“Let’s go.” Sima Liuyue nodded at Guisu and continued walking towards the yard gate with Nangong Yun.

Guisu snapped back to his senses and quickly followed them.

On the way back to Wangyue Pavilion, Sima Liuyue and Nangong Yun were constantly discussing cooperation matters.

Guisu didn’t care about that and had no desire to eavesdrop on their conversation.

Occasionally, Nangong Yun would turn his head to glance at Guisu, as if to check what he was doing.

But Guisu just maintained a cold expression, showing no difference from usual.

Back at Wangyue Pavilion, Sima Liuyue and Nangong Yun said goodbye, and she walked towards the guest room with Guisu.

Once there were no other people around, Sima Liuyue suddenly stopped walking and turned to look at Guisu.

“Do you know Baili Xia?”

Guisu was stunned, not expecting her to ask that suddenly.

He nodded lightly; he didn’t want to deny this.

Even if he didn’t say it, she would find out sooner or later.

Sima Liuyue tried her best to appear indifferent and asked casually.

“You two seem quite familiar, have a good relationship?”

This time, Guisu didn’t respond.

He wasn’t even sure of his own relationship with Baili Xia.

He once intended to kill Baili Xia, while Baili Xia saved his life.

Perhaps Guisu felt grateful to Baili Xia for giving him a new life, but it wasn’t just pure gratitude.

Seeing Guisu hesitate, Sima Liuyue felt a block in her heart, her voice turned low.

“You signed a three-year agreement with me; I hope you focus on work and don’t think about pursuing any romance during this period.”

“I haven’t considered such things.” Guisu glanced at her coldly, “Besides, it’s none of your business.”

“You…” Sima Liuyue was instantly rendered speechless.

Indeed, there was no clause in the agreement saying he couldn’t date.

Whether dating would affect work, that was a matter of personal professional attitude.

If it affected work and mistakes occurred, there was always the option to penalize Guisu according to the Sima family’s regulations.

Although Sima Liuyue’s inner fire was raging, she dared not explode in front of Guisu.

After taking several deep breaths, she snorted and returned to her room.

All afternoon, Sima Liuyue didn’t step out of her room.

Even for lunch, she simply had a servant bring the meal inside and ate in her room.

It wasn’t until dinner time that Sima Liuyue came out of her room again.

As soon as she stepped out, she headed straight to Guisu’s door and knocked.

Guisu opened the door, and Sima Liuyue softly said, “Join me for dinner.”

Her voice had returned to its usual calmness, perhaps even softer.

Guisu nodded and closed the door, accompanying her to the dining room.

In the dining room, both of them ate silently without saying a word.

Sima Liuyue behaved even more gently than usual, occasionally adding some food to Guisu’s bowl.

All this made it seem as though she hadn’t been angry with Guisu at all that morning.

After dinner, Guisu escorted Sima Liuyue back to her room.

Only then did Sima Liuyue look at Guisu and softly say, “Wait for me in the room; I… I’ll come to find you later.”

If others were present, they wouldn’t have believed that the always sharp and capable Miss Sima would speak like this.

Guisu frowned slightly, clearly unaccustomed to her manner of speaking.

He coldly asked, “Is there something?”

“Just wait for me.” Sima Liuyue threw out a sentence, touched Guisu’s chest, and swiftly entered her room.
