Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 1766
However, since the opportunity was rare, the domineering and cold Mr.
Xiaojiu also had a cunning moment in his heart.
He could walk by himself, but Mu Xiaojiu still relaxed his body and gently leaned on Baili Xia’s hand.
The feeling of being supported by this girl was quite nice.
Nangong Xu slightly tugged at the corners of his mouth, as if creating such an opportunity was a mistake.
When Baili Xia was about to escort Mu Xiaojiu out of the medical room, Mu Xiaojiu finally turned back and gave him an approving look.
Only then did Nangong Xu smile faintly, at last, Mr.
Xiaojiu knew to thank him.
Outside the medical room, Ye Hua followed them out as well.
Protecting Mr.
Xiaojiu was his duty, as long as there was no mission, he had to stay close and guard Mr.
Xiaojiu all the time.
But just as he stepped out of the medical room, he felt a sharp gaze shoot towards him from the front.
Ye Hua immediately stopped and glanced at Mr.
Xiaojiu.
He quickly stood up straight and said loudly, “Mr.
Xiaojiu, I have some matters to attend to, I must go handle them first.”
“Perhaps, Miss Xiaxia could keep you company for a walk, would that be alright?”
Baili Xia intended to pause and wait for Uncle’s response, but Uncle had no intention of stopping.
Mu Xiaojiu merely left two words indifferently.
“Go ahead.”
Ye Hua immediately slipped out of the medical room’s courtyard, and as for where he was going, only he knew.
Baili Xia supported Mu Xiaojiu, walking slowly through the courtyard.
As they approached the Sihai Residence’s main hall, she softly asked, “Uncle, where do you want to go?”
Mu Xiaojiu lowered his eyes and thought for a moment, then said, “Do you still remember everything about Sihai Residence?”
Baili Xia shook her head and softly said, “I can only remember the general idea, I’ve forgotten many things.”
Since waking up, she had only been to the Sihai Residence’s courtyard, and other places remained vague images to her.
She knew she had visited Sihai Residence before, been to many places there, but had forgotten what they specifically looked like.
Baili Xia tried to recall, but those scenes just wouldn’t become clear.
Mu Xiaojiu gently rubbed her hair, his voice softening.
“If you can’t remember, don’t worry about it. I’ll take you for a walk.”
There’s no need for her to try to recall anything; if she remembers past events and her head starts to hurt again, things will only get worse.
As long as she’s doing well, even if everything has to start over, what does it matter?
Baili Xia nodded and said, “Okay.”
Mu Xiaojiu pointed towards the direction of the backyard: “Let’s go over there, I’ll take you to see the backyard.”
Baili Xia followed Mu Xiaojiu’s guidance and walked in that direction.
Upon reaching the backyard, Baili Xia felt a slight surprise in her heart.
She initially thought the backyard was about the same size as the front yard, but upon arriving here, she realized the backyard was much larger than she had imagined.
The backyard was divided into many areas, with landscaped sections and fish ponds, but the largest area was a plaza.
The plaza had many different apparatus, with numerous brothers practicing on them.
Baili Xia was startled by this scene; she hadn’t expected so many people training together here.
The front yard and backyard of Sihai Residence were indeed two separate worlds.
“Uncle, who are they…” Baili Xia voiced her inner confusion.
“They’re my brothers. Usually, they practice in the backyard or the back mountain,” Mu Xiaojiu said calmly.
Brothers, referring to the ones Nangong Xu mentioned earlier?
With such high-intensity training, someone is always bound to get hurt, so the master is always busy.
Mu Xiaojiu led Baili Xia further in and introduced the training projects to her as they walked.
As they passed by, the brothers would stop and greet him.
And they’d also respectfully call out, “Miss Xiaxia.”
