“Jiu!” Mu Xuri suddenly shouted.

Mu Xiaojiu turned his head and looked at him indifferently.

“Jiu, if it was my person who committed the act, hand them over to me, and I’ll personally interrogate them.”

“I will never be partial and shield her.”

Mu Xuri’s eyes, because of anger, had a red tinge.

Tian fell into Jiu’s hands. Although that person on the phone said these assassins would never expose them, he was not at ease at all.

The people of the organization, Tian might be apprehensive and not betray them.

But what about him? He meant nothing to Tian.

Mu Xiaojiu’s cold eyes turned darker. He wished so much that his third brother didn’t have such a deep connection with this organization.

But now, the third brother had come to save people from this organization.

Those people outside who wanted to assassinate him, did the third brother know?

“No need, she will die here with me.”

Leaving only this sentence, Mu Xiaojiu made no further pause and strode towards the medical room.

Watching his leaving figure, Mu Xuri couldn’t hold back anymore and slammed his hand forcefully on the armrest of the wheelchair.

The pain shot through his hand from hitting the steel pipe.

But he couldn’t care about that and immediately said to Leng Yu, “Back to the main house.”

…

In the medical room, the surgery was proceeding tensely.

Mu Xiaojiu’s kick was indeed strong, only because of Tian’s formidable strength did it not result in broken ribs piercing the lungs and causing death.

After setting the last broken bone in place, Baili Xia began to stitch the knife wound.

Nangong Xu walked to the side, took off the surgical gown, and hung it on the rack.

“Don’t you think there’s something off about what she said?”

Baili Xia was slightly startled, and her stitching hands involuntarily trembled a bit.

“In what way?”

“Her memory, her memories from ten years ago, can’t just vanish into thin air.”

Baili Xia quickly composed herself and refocused on the stitching.

A few stitches later, she finished suturing the surgical wound.

She looked up at Nangong Xu and said, “I’ve thought about that too, but how she lost her memory, we still don’t know.”

Suddenly, something flickered in her mind.

“Could it be that, like me before, she was also under hypnosis?”

“That’s what I thought too, though there are other possibilities, but we can give it a try.”

“How to try?”

Baili Xia was puzzled. If it was really due to hypnosis, her previous memories would have been sealed.

How could they find the reason for her previous hypnosis?

This was different from her case, back then everyone knew she had fallen into Lu Xuening’s hands.

And Lu Xuening was best known for her hypnotism, so everyone speculated from there.

“Does it matter whether it’s hypnotism or not? People like this are incorrigible.”

Before Nangong Xu could speak, a faint voice came from outside the door.

Soon after, Mu Xiaojiu strode in.

He walked up to Baili Xia with a solemn face and looked down at the bed.

“When will she wake up?”

Baili Xia did not answer him, her gaze fell on Nangong Xu.

She was also waiting for Tian to wake up, so her mentor could test if she was under hypnosis.

“Probably at midnight tonight.”

Mu Xiaojiu’s face turned darker. He was losing patience waiting.

He needed to know urgently, who exactly was this mysterious organization, and what role did his third brother play in all of this?

The years of relationship they’d shared, did it mean nothing at all?

What was the connection between those who tried to assassinate him and Mu Xuri?

Was it arranged personally by the third brother?

Mu Xiaojiu’s mind was a bit chaotic, and because of the chaos, even more impatient.
