“It seems like no one has entered or exited Youyang Pavilion for quite a while.”

Mu Xiaoyao looked at Baili Xia, but another face flashed through his mind—a face very similar to hers.

Since Youyang Pavilion hasn’t seen any traffic, why did that girl stop at its entrance?

However, understanding people’s hearts is truly not his forte, so these questions can only linger in his mind.

Returning to the issue of surveillance, he looked at them and said, “So, the footage we see in the surveillance can be said to be static.”

“Static? Then…”

Baili Xia was momentarily confused about how this would help them enter.

But Wu Ming, sitting beside them, seemed to have already figured out Mu Xiaoyao’s plan.

This kid, truly a genius in this field, came up with a solution in just one day.

He looked at Mu Xiaoyao and raised an eyebrow.

Mu Xiaoyao ignored him and continued looking at Baili Xia.

“Since whether the footage is static or not makes no difference, then we…”

Before he finished his sentence, Baili Xia exclaimed softly, “I understand.”

“Brother, you’re going to freeze all the surveillance footage.”

“We go in, and no one will notice, right?”

“Not entirely frozen…”

“Are you going to add some signs of the wind blowing?” The footage can’t be completely static, even indoors.

Ordinary people might not notice, but if we encounter computer experts, it’s easy for them to spot something amiss.

“That’s right.” Mu Xiaoyao nodded, adding some signs of the wind blowing is something he can manage.

This girl is never foolish; not only does Wu Ming think so, but even Mu Xiaoyao does not deny it.

He nodded, turning and once more giving them his back.

“However, Youyang Pavilion has increased its defenses significantly, and no one can predict if the Old Madam might suddenly decide to send people to patrol.”

“Wait another hour before heading out.”

Baili Xia took out her phone and checked the time.

Now isn’t the time to act; she understood Mu Xiaoyao’s intentions.

No matter how urgent it feels, they must wait until the dead of night.

Baili Xia stood up, looking at Wu Ming.

“We’ll head out in an hour, go back and take a bath in the meantime.”

“Today, we’ve spent so long in the herb fields, surely we’ve picked up the scent of those herbs.”

“If we leave any herbal scent behind, our identities could be exposed.”

The Bei Family has many who are skilled in brewing potions and who’ve been dealing with herbs for years.

They’re certainly familiar with the scent of herbs.

Better safe than sorry.

This girl’s mind is increasingly meticulous, a reassurance to Wu Ming.

These things weren’t unknown to Wu Ming, but he preferred seeing her think them through herself.

He nodded, stepping out.

Baili Xia glanced at Mu Xiaoyao, ready to leave the room.

Mu Xiaoyao suddenly said, “Saw a girl today, looks very much like you.”

“Are you talking about Bei Xier?”

Mu Xiaoyao said nothing; whoever Bei Xier is, he doesn’t know her.

“I know this girl, saw her over at the old master’s side previously; she’s Bei Qingyue’s adopted daughter.”

“People under Bei Qingyue are generally not good; watch out.”

Leaving those words behind, he continued busying himself at the computer.

“Alright.” Baili Xia nodded, saying no more.

Turning, she left through the door.
