Mu Xiaoyao’s gaze turned cold, sensing a whiff of danger approaching.

His eyes scanned the surroundings, and sure enough, three waiters were slowly making their way towards them.

Although they pretended to be nonchalant, their murderous intent was unmistakable under Mu Xiaoyao’s sharp gaze.

Before Baili Xia could react, his large hand had already grabbed hers.

“Bro…”

“Go!” Baili Xia didn’t have time to finish speaking before Mu Xiaoyao pulled her up and quickly headed towards the door.

However, those people were clearly prepared.

Now that they were in, how could those people let them leave so easily?

The three waiters, who initially looked serious, suddenly drew long daggers from their waists, moving fiercely towards them.

Baili Xia, not fully aware of what was happening, finally understood.

Her heart tightened, and she gripped Mu Xiaoyao’s hand firmly.

Unexpectedly, they encountered an ambush in this restaurant.

Aside from Nangong Yun and Bei Zicheng, she had no enemies in Bei Miao.

Was this scene arranged specifically for her today?

Without time to hesitate, Baili Xia raised her wrist and pressed the switch on her bracelet.

A silver needle swiftly shot at the waiter blocking the doorway.

Yet he seemed prepared, as he dodged aside when he saw Baili Xia’s action.

Baili Xia frowned slightly; these people seemed to know her well, even knowing she had hidden weapons.

The three had already closed in, their daggers gleaming, casually slicing through the air and spreading chills.

Mu Xiaoyao furrowed his sword-like brows, sensing the agility of the man’s movements he had just dodged.

Thinking this, he pulled Baili Xia forward with a long stride, reaching the man at the door.

The man tensed up, unexpectedly finding Mu Xiaoyao daring to charge directly at him.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he jabbed his dagger towards him.

Mu Xiaoyao sidestepped, evading the stabbing dagger.

Lifting his leg, his knee landed squarely on the man’s stomach.

The man winced in pain, and immediately bent over, retreating a few steps sideways.

Mu Xiaoyao then pushed Baili Xia towards the door, looking at her coldly: “Wait for me outside.”

“I’ll help you.”

Although Brother is formidable, Baili Xia still didn’t want to leave him alone.

Who knows what other dangers might follow; her presence, at least, meant support.

Mu Xiaoyao raised an eyebrow, saying casually: “Don’t trust my skills?”

Baili Xia’s eyes dimmed; Brother still thought about this at such a time.

His skills are indeed strong, but…

“No… I just…”

“Then hurry up and go out; with you here, I can’t fully act.”

Mu Xiaoyao’s gaze swept over the three men approaching.

They were getting closer, and he couldn’t keep talking with this girl here.

He raised his large hand, pushing open the dark glass door.

Baili Xia didn’t have time to react before being pushed outside by him.

“Brother.”

She only called out softly, no longer able to see what’s happening inside the restaurant.

Only vaguely seeing four shadows fighting together.

Baili Xia bit her lip, wanting to go in, but feared she would be a burden to Brother.

She looked around and finally found a hidden spot in a corner.

Approaching, she crouched behind a fake tree, watching the restaurant from afar.

These three people; Brother wouldn’t have too much trouble dealing with them, should be out in about ten minutes.
