“What’s going on?”

The deep voice of the leader of the black-clad figures sounded, but no one responded.

Baili Xia could see clearly that someone had already stepped on the silver needle, fallen to the ground poisoned.

“Boss, that woman has a hidden weapon, he’s likely been hit by it.”

A faint voice came, and they had guessed how Baili Xia had taken that person down.

However, they couldn’t guess that the silver needles were arranged on the ground.

Outside the cave, it returned to silence, as if even the sound of falling leaves could be heard.

Baili Xia knew they must have thought of some way and went to prepare.

Sure enough, after about ten minutes, another shadow flickered into the cave entrance.

Not just one; after he came in, two more figures followed behind him.

The one in front walked very slowly, probably having learned from the previous mistake, he paused to inspect each step.

Baili Xia saw that he was holding something like a plank to shield himself.

They probably thought the first person was shot down by Baili Xia’s hidden weapon, so they found something to shield themselves.

Soon, he reached the spot where the first person fell, saw his companion lying on the ground, and crouched down to give him a push.

The companion had no reaction at all, it was unknown whether he was still alive.

He didn’t have time to care about more, immediately reaching out to pull out a flashlight, shining it into the cave.

But, in the places he could see, there was nothing.

He gestured to the two behind him, and the three of them continued forward.

Suddenly, it seemed like he stepped on something, and a sharp pain shot through him.

With a cry of surprise, he didn’t have time to say anything more, and he fell straight backward.

The two behind him were instantly bewildered, having not even seen the enemy, how did he fall?

He had bark shielding him, so if Baili Xia shot a silver needle, it was useless against him.

If it was useless, then how was he taken down?

Something flashed through their minds, and they finally figured out the reason.

One of them shouted, “There’s something on the ground.”

Baili Xia heard the previous man’s cry and knew he had stepped on the silver needle on the ground again.

Now was the best time…

She immediately flashed halfway out from around the corner, aimed her bracelet at the two standing at the cave entrance, and pressed the mechanism.

A few silver needles shot out, piercing the air.

Even though they heard the sound, there was no room for them to dodge.

With two soft puffs, the silver needles pierced into their bodies.

They had no time to say anything more, only managing two cries of surprise, and then they fell to the ground.

Outside the cave, the black-clad leader listened to what was happening inside, distressed.

Though he didn’t know exactly what had happened, he knew those few had already fallen.

His gaze turned cold, looked aside, and ordered, “Send in two more, be careful of the ground.”

In just a moment, four subordinates were lost, and although knowing Baili Xia was inside, he didn’t dare to take too big a risk.

They didn’t know the situation inside the cave, and if it was too small, sending in more would only make them more vulnerable to attacks.

Immediately, two more stepped forward, the one in the lead holding a long piece of bark to shield himself.

They all heard what their brother in front had said, and were particularly cautious of the ground as they entered.

Sure enough, reaching where they had fallen, they found the silver needles standing on the ground.

A flood of emotions passed through their hearts, not expecting the woman to use such a trick, making it impossible for them to defend against.

Frustrated, he kicked at the ground, sweeping all the silver needles aside.
