Wu Ming…

Baili Xia’s heart trembled; Wu Ming actually saved her at the critical moment.

It felt as if a surge of strength suddenly arose in her; Wu Ming didn’t give up, so she couldn’t either.

Seeing the man in black momentarily stunned, she swung her knife at him.

The man in black reacted, but it was too late to dodge.

He had no choice but to raise his arm to block, and the dagger carved a deep gash in his arm.

The man in black stared behind Baili Xia, harshly asking, “Who’s there?”

Another man in black walked over, standing next to him.

Wu Ming slowly emerged from the shadows, coming to Baili Xia’s side.

He forced himself to appear normal.

But the bloodstains on his body, the pallor of his face, made it obvious he was seriously injured.

“Girl, are you okay?”

“I’m fine, just a minor skin injury.” To avoid worrying him, Baili Xia quickly replied.

However, seeing Wu Ming, the bandaged wound started bleeding again from the movement, and her heart ached.

She was still not strong enough and ultimately needed Wu Ming to rescue her.

Wu Ming ignored his own wound, focusing his gaze on Baili Xia’s arm.

His dark eyes instantly darkened, and coldness seeped out of him.

Damn it! They actually hurt his girl!

The man in black scrutinized Wu Ming; he had never heard of him and didn’t know who he was.

However, it was clear that Wu Ming was gravely injured, barely alive, so there wasn’t much to worry about.

He said lightly, “Is this your helper?”

His words carried an unmistakable disdain, as if saying such a half-dead person couldn’t possibly harm his brothers.

Wu Ming’s gaze suddenly lifted, landing on the man in black.

The cold determination in his eyes made the man in black fall silent immediately.

Even though the opponent was this weak, there was something inexplicably menacing about him.

He snorted coldly, wondering why he should fear such a useless person.

Wu Ming fixed his eyes on him, his voice icy.

“You hurt her; you must die.”

The man in black raised an eyebrow, astonished that someone so injured could still be so arrogant.

But, from deep within his eyes, he could sense the coldness creeping towards him.

“Then you can die first.”

The man in black, no longer wanting to hold back, roared angrily and strode forward.

The other man in black also followed behind, planning to take Wu Ming down first.

Before reaching Wu Ming, the man in black raised a foot, kicking towards him.

Baili Xia’s heart tightened, knowing Wu Ming was badly injured and couldn’t move agilely.

Without thinking, she immediately slashed her knife down in front of Wu Ming.

If the man dared to kick Wu Ming, she dared to take his leg.

Sure enough, the man in black quickly retracted his leg.

However, the other man in black charged at Baili Xia.

He swung his dagger directly, stabbing towards her.

With no choice, Baili Xia had to sidestep to meet the attack.

In doing so, she completely left Wu Ming to deal with the first man in black.

“Now, let me teach you what it means to die.”

As soon as the words fell, he suddenly kicked, striking Wu Ming in the abdomen.

It was where the wound was.

Wu Ming was instantly kicked, flying backward and landing hard on the ground.

If it were the past, a mere lackey like this wouldn’t stand a chance against the great Wu Ming.

But now… with his severe wounds, just getting up and walking here had taken a lot out of him, let alone fighting them.

Now, it’s indeed the tiger fallen from its form, bullied by the dogs!

These people, they’re merely taking advantage of his weakness!
