Seeing Wu Ming still motionless, Baili Xia was helpless.

It seems that if she doesn’t personally take action, this guy won’t give any face.

She had no choice but to get out of the car, walk around to Wu Ming’s side, and personally open the car door.

“Let me help you, okay?”

Seeing her act so accommodating, Wu Ming’s brow finally relaxed a little.

He glanced at Baili Xia indifferently, braced one hand on the seat, and stretched the other hand toward Baili Xia.

Baili Xia quickly grabbed his large hand, turned back to look at Fan Yi, and smiled at him.

“Fan Yi, could you please go open the car door for us, thank you.”

“Sure.” Fan Yi responded, immediately turning to return to his car.

Glancing sneakily at the stubborn expression on Wu Ming’s face, Baili Xia only felt helpless.

This guy…sure isn’t easy to please; stubborn as hell.

But now, he was at least willing to go back to the Bei Family with her first.

Safety was ensured, and there would be time to treat his wounds, which was a good thing for her.

Guisu, fearing suspicion, would separate from them and return to the Bei Family.

After saying goodbye to Guisu, Baili Xia supported Wu Ming, slowly making her way to Fan Yi’s car.

She watched them get in the car, watched their car disappear from sight.

Only then did Guisu change direction and swiftly leave.

The car slid back onto the road, moving steadily towards the Bei Family.

Baili Xia sat in the back, looking at Fan Yi in the front passenger seat, and couldn’t help but ask.

“What exactly is going on with the Bei Family now?”

“The Old Madam sent Miss Yun out to find Miss Xi’er, but it seems like she hasn’t safely brought her back to the Bei Family yet.”

Baili Xia nodded, the Old Madam’s concern for Xi’er was apparent.

But she kept feeling that today’s events seemed greatly connected to Nangong Yun.

She and Brother went out with Bei Xier and Bei Zicheng, and something happened.

Nangong Yun going to find them now, could there be other reasons.

Also, what was the situation with the assassins they encountered along the way?

These people very much resembled those from that mysterious organization.

What was their connection to those who wanted to harm them?

Things seemed not as simple as they appeared.

“Mr. Wu Ming’s injuries are severe, should I arrange someone to take a look?”

Looking through the rearview mirror at Wu Ming leaning against the back of the seat, Fan Yi frowned slightly and asked softly.

Baili Xia was about to say something but was stopped by a look from Wu Ming, instantly swallowing all words back.

“No need, I’m a doctor, I’ll take care of it.”

Fan Yi was a sensible person, since Wu Ming was unwilling, he didn’t press further.

After all, Wu Ming was just Xiaxia’s subordinate, everything was at the disposal of Miss Xiaxia.

“Alright.” To ease the atmosphere, Fan Yi promptly changed the subject.

“The Young Master instructed that I’ll take you back to the Bi Luo Pavilion first, and he’ll make further arrangements as needed.”

Baili Xia nodded, sharing a smile with him through the rearview mirror: “Thanks for the trouble.”

“Miss Xiaxia, no need to be so polite.”

“Moreover, it’s the Young Master’s intention, if Miss Xiaxia were to thank someone, it should be the Young Master.”

In Fan Yi’s heart, he had long considered Baili Xia the future Young Madam.

Doing anything for her was willing.

Baili Xia pressed her lips into a smile and said no more.

Brother You’s help, she would naturally cherish.

These bonds, she would repay slowly in the future.

Currently, given the situation, saying too much would be useless.
