Finally, Mu Xiaojiu agreed to Baili Xia’s request.

When Baili Xia walked up to the girl guarded by the bodyguards and slapped her hard across the face a dozen times, the girl bore no resentment.

In fact, she was grateful to her.

If given the choice between losing a hand or being slapped a dozen times, anyone would know what to choose.

Immediately, more than a dozen girls rushed over, begging Baili Xia for mercy.

Baili Xia became tired from hitting them and glanced back at Mu Xiaojiu.

Mu Xiaojiu snorted dismissively and ignored her.

Wouldn’t it have been easier to simply chop off the hand of each person dragged out?

It was her own fault for exhausting herself like this.

Baili Xia had no choice but to grit her teeth and continue.

However, her slaps became lighter and lighter.

Fortunately, Mr.

Xiaojiu didn’t object.

More girls came forward begging for mercy – they were all innocent really, but in this situation, pleading seemed to be their only chance at survival.

Unexpectedly, after Baili Xia had slapped only a dozen or so people, she returned to Mu Xiaojiu and said casually, “Most of the remaining ones haven’t offended me.

They weren’t present yesterday.”

“Pick them out.” Despite Mu Xiaojiu’s terrifying methods, he wasn’t brutal to the point of complete irrationality.

Baili Xia picked about twenty girls from the remaining crowd.

The girls were tearfully grateful as they hurriedly returned to the outer crowd.

The feeling of surviving a close brush with death left them on the verge of collapse.

Finally, the only ones left were a dozen or so high-ranking executives from Shengyi company, along with a few girls.

There was Qi Ya, Lily, and two other girls whose names Baili Xia couldn’t recall, but who had been punching and kicking her the day before.

Mu Xiaojiu was satisfied with her actions.

This girl was actually smart enough to know that his anger wouldn’t subside if he didn’t take some form of action.

So, she saved those she could and accepted that she couldn’t save the rest.

In reality, how could Mu Xiaojiu not know who had bullied her yesterday?

Baili Xia knew this perfectly well.

He’d thoroughly investigated everything – even her cries for help last night.

Could he possibly be unaware of what happened in the company dormitory?

Trying to be clever in front of him was a surefire way to get killed.

Even if she was a little brave, she knew her limits.

“Baili Xia, I have no quarrel with you.

Why are you trying to harm me?” Someone finally couldn’t hold back and stepped forward to question her coldly.

Qi Ya was also scared of Mr.

Xiaojiu’s methods, but she hadn’t been in Baili Xia’s dorm room last night.

The incident had nothing to do with her.

The innocent ones had been let off.

Why was she still being kept here?

Was Baili Xia trying to use Mr.

Xiaojiu to get rid of her?

“Mr.

Xiaojiu, I have nothing to do with this.

Baili Xia is framing me.” Qi Ya looked at Mu Xiaojiu, her eyes welling up with tears.

She wasn’t any less attractive than Baili Xia.

In fact, she was far prettier and more seductive.

She refused to believe that if Mr.

Xiaojiu could be attracted to a woman like Baili Xia, he wouldn’t be interested in her.

At this point, Qi Ya had nothing to lose and didn’t care about the consequences.

If Baili Xia wasn’t removed from Mr.

Xiaojiu’s side today, then Qi Ya knew she would surely be killed by the wretched girl.

If Qi Ya herself didn’t take the upper hand, the wretched girl would surely kill her!

So, she put everything on the line.

She took bold steps toward Mu Xiaojiu, and surprisingly, no one stopped her.

Qi Shu, who was behind her, was so frightened he was about to lose his mind.

But seeing his daughter stride forth so enchantingly gave him a glimmer of hope.

Could this be their last chance?

If Yaya could win Mr.

Xiaojiu’s favor, then perhaps Shengyi could survive this disaster.
