Be Gentle, My Master

Chapter 506: Actually Met Him Here_1

Suddenly, the car turned and quickly came to a stop at the side of the road.

Mu Xiaoyao closed his eyes, refusing to look at Baili Xia.

After a moment, he lifted a finger and pressed an unspecified button.

With a click, the car door was unlocked.

Baili Xia grabbed her backpack, pushed the car door open and jumped out immediately.

Having closed the car door behind her, she jogged off towards a nearby tree-lined path.

She ran and ran, until she herself did not know where she had ended up.

Only when the hustle and bustle of traffic was no longer heard, when her surroundings seemed to grow quiet and few people were seen, did she stop.

She wiped the corner of her eye with her hand, only to find tears trailing down her cheeks.

She had promised herself not to cry, but the tears wouldn’t stop flowing.

Looking at the glistening tear drops on the back of her hand, her heart ached profoundly.

The pain was so severe that she could scarcely breathe.

Mu Xiaojiu, Mu Xiaojiu…

she hated him.

She would never forgive him for the rest of her life!

The tear drops on the back of her hand seemed to reflect his face.

The more prominent the face became in her line of sight, the more deeply it seemed to be etched in her mind, even when she closed her eyes.

No, she did not want to think about that man anymore.

She would not think of him from now on!

It was just a man!

It mattered so much to her only because that man had taken everything of hers.

Her first time, her everything, was all taken away by him.

She was still so conservative, conservative to the point she couldn’t accept another man.

Was it for this reason that it mattered so much to her?

No, she would never think of him again, she vowed to herself, never again!

She shook her hand vigorously, but the tears on the back of her hand were not so easily shaken off.

As she looked at the tears drop by drop, she finally couldn’t help but sink to her knees on the ground.

She hugged her knees and started to sob.

Her heart ached, so much that she felt weary.

Uncle, why…

A man in the distance was leaning against a tree, looking at the girl kneeling on the grass.

He just watched in silence, not taking a step closer.

What good would it do if he went over now?

The words he had said earlier had already pierced her heart.

If he approached now, it would only make her cry harder.

But he couldn’t just leave her here alone.

At least, he would wait until she stood up, until she got on the bus back to school, and then he would leave.

But Mu Xiaoyao never anticipated that he would see another person here.

Dongfang Jin, is the world really that small?

Coming to such a remote place, he unexpectedly ran into Dongfang Jin, who was also out for a stroll.

In truth, Dongfang Jin didn’t know why he had ended up here.

After a night of restlessness and poor sleep, he had passed by and seen the lush surroundings, and the beautiful scenery felt inviting.

So he parked the car at the side and walked along this tree-lined path.

However, he never imagined that he would see Baili Xia crying in hiding on this path and that distant figure who would not approach any closer.

On seeing Dongfang Jin’s arrival and noticing no hostility from him towards Baili Xia, Mu Xiaoyao turned to leave.

He had looked into Dongfang Jin and Baili Xia’s history himself after leaving the Dongfang Family’s house that day.

Turned out, they had been together for two years, hence they were somewhat acquainted.

Although, it seemed Uncle and Dongfang Jin didn’t get along very well.

However, he knew that there wasn’t any real animosity between Uncle and Dongfang Jin.

In fact, if anything were to happen, they would go out of their way to protect each other.

Perhaps, Dongfang Jin could make her feel a little better.

Therefore, he left.
